Monica and her staff were available to answer questions. All needs were met within a short period of time!
This company helped me tremendously. Whenever I emailed or called them, they were quick to get back with me.
They claim to have a 100% money back guarantee but that's not true. The services promised were not delivered.
I have experienced DV loss when I traded my car in a few years ago, so I was made aware of real consequences when getting into an accident. I also have a friend who gave me tips on how to get some of this loss reimbursed (he did all the leg work and demanding).
So, when I was struck from behind while at a stop light, I was armed with some knowledge of what to do in case of a future accident.
I could have done the whole process myself (as did my friend); instead I hired Autoloss to produce a report and file on my behalf. It helped that they guaranteed to return the fee if I didn't recover at least that amount.
Autoloss explained the procedure and helped coached me through the process. I was already aware that this type of claim is something that has to be worked for with the insurance company, so my expectations were reasonable. If I got 80% of the DV, I reasoned, I would be satisfied. If I didn't get anything, I'd expect a refund of my fee.
After a few weeks of waiting for the insurance company to do their due diligence and for my car to be repaired, I was awarded the full amount of my DV.
You can certainly do what Autoloss does on your own, but I liked the idea that this is their expertise and they have a guarantee (return of fee).
My time is quite valuable. If I can pay someone else for their expertise and save myself hours/days of due diligence, research, trial and error, etc., then it makes sense for me.
For those who want to take their chances against insurance companies, I wish you success. For me, 3-4 hours of doing my own follow-ups, etc was worth my peace and sanity, and having a specialized partner advocating for me made it much easier, in my opinion.
Finally, after my car was repaired, I called the insurance company and asked for the status of my DV claim. She acknowledged that she obtained the professionally-produced report and told me the check will be sent out that day. 300 spent, 8000+ returned.
I will not hesitate to use and recommend this company and their services again in the future.
Autoloss is a great company. Autoloss completed the diminished value report and sent it to State Farm. I was able to get an extra $3000. Lin
My 62-year old father was hit in a motor vehicle accident and his "like-new" 2020 Toyota was badly damaged. I helped my father present the damage claim to the other driver and his insurance carrier, Geico. The diminished value of her car after the accident was an element of the claim. When searching for an appraiser to attest to the diminished value after repair, I happened upon this Yelp site. I called Autoloss and I was impressed with them.
Autloss did an excellent job for my family. Monica, the owner and appraiser is seasoned as to legal matters and well qualified to perform diminished value appraisals nationwide. The Diminished Value Report was accurate, cost-effective and produced within 24 hours. I was able to settle for the full amount of the claim.
After my great experience, I reread some of the low ratings for this company on Yelp. I notcied they had excellent ratings on Google, BBB, and Sitejabber. In retrospect, I believe that many of the complaints are actually complaints from people that never used Autoloss. In my case, Autoloss did everything in a timely and very professional manner. Based on my experience, I give them a 5-star rating and I woudl use them again.

Autoloss team made what could have been a stressful process very easy. Very professional and timely.
After reading the reviews for auto loss I was excited to use them for 2 back to back accidents I had. Monica was not very response. Her emails when she did respond did not make sense. I finally called office one day to make sense of what I needed and a new secretary apologized for lack of communication. She stated Monica was swamped with work and the long time assistant was no longer working there. I told her I completely understood and that lack of communication made sense. Then a few days later Monica sends me an email with ugliness about me talking to the secretary instead of apologizing for her lack of professionalism. I tried explaining what happened she became defensive and immediately offered a complaint number. She escalated a situation that her secretary had actually already rectified in simply being honest about work load. I realize others have given good reviews and I truly hoped for the same thing with an already stressful situation but unfortunately my case was completely different. Any time I asked a question it would take at least a week to get a response and my questions were answered by Monica sending me the initial pdf with the questions and process, not very helpful nor personalized as my questions were outside the norm. I specifically asked if both my accidents would be addressed and how that would work and she said yes, by the end she said it was separate. Was truly stressful and confusing and worse then corresponding with an automated system and not an actual person. Several times as I continued to try to get help she would ask me the same questions, this happened about 4 times with several things which made me wonder if she even had a file for me or records of anything if halfway through the process she's asking me again for copies of repairs and things I sent from the start. Towards what I thought was the end she responded to some of my questions by asking me what state I'm in when she had my repair information and other pertinent information already. I tried in the end sending Monica a last attempt email and explaining I simply wanted some questions answers and that there was a disconnect somewhere but that I would love to finish process out, instead of a good attitude and an apology or to offer to help me, she was rude. I was never rude or demanding, I simply wanted to understand the process with dealing with 2 accidents 2 months from each other. This was all new to me so I really didn't understand process which is why you hire an expert but when the expert doesn't want to help it's tough. Hope others don't have the experience I had.
Very impressed with Autoloss. Monica took great care of me, would definitely recommended. Im happy with outcome.
Thanks so much. Please let me know if I can ever help you again. Monica
Such a helpful and necessary company when dealing with an insurance company that will try to deny you your diminished value on your vehicle.
If there was a lower rating I would use it this is a horriable service this business claims that they can get you a higher DV settlement through them from the insurance company offers. Starts out the settlement estimator on the website after punching the numbers in that I filled in gave me an $12,000 DV, when I contacted Monica her responce was I have a $7,700 claim for the DV after I signed up and paid $300 for this service I was sent car values and pricing in a word templet to approve to send in to the insurance. I got a responce from my Insurance that they are only going to offer $2,000 after forwarding this back to autoloss they told me to get local bids though other places. When i submitted this info back the counter offer from autoloss was to settle for $2,800. This is a scam business not providing the advertised service just to get money from you with no results the offer is a far cry from the what they said you should get. It take over 2-6 days for them to contact you and as claiming that they can help you get a higher value is bull their information is very misleading, and I was enticed to buy this service. I want a full $300 refund buyer beware you can tell I am not the only one who got shafted from this service all the negative reviews posted I wish that I read before buying this product.
This client by his own admission paid $300 and received $2800. We tried to help him further but he decided he wanted to just get a refund. The refund policy is on the website and on the paid invoice he was sent. He complained that when he went to the website it stated he was owed $12,000. The DV calculator is automated and the client puts in different variables. I told this client he put in the wrong variables and that is why he came up with $12,000. He was adamant he was owed $12,000 and I told him we could not help him. He decided to go with us anyway but I tried to manage his expectations. 99% of the time we get back to all clients within 24-48 hours. If the email comes over the weekend or on a holiday it might be a day longer. Also, on BBB, Sitejabber, and Goggle are ratings are over 4.5. Yelp refuses to accept the 200 positive reviews our clients have left over the last 20 years. We care about each of our customers and please call us and we can send you the extensive thread of emails with this client. Monica Fisher Owner of Autoloss
Ladies and gentlemen,
I am a pure skeptic and I ask detailed questions to lower risk. After asking Monica around 50 tough questions, I was convinced auto loss DOES NOT WORK FOR THE INSURANCE COMPANIES! This is is huge because they do not generate their business from the insurance companies, rather they challenge them to get you fair value for your vehicle.
My insurance company U$** was acting in bad faith for my vehicle. They claim to use a ridiculous program called CCC. This is an unfair double dipping mechanism designed to unfairly lower your appraised value on your vehicle to save the insurance company big money.
My Acura was valued by insurance criminals at 60% of value. Monica fought with them tooth and nail and realized they were not being very fair, only raising their offer by $500 each time. Monica stuck to her guns and we went through the entire appraisal clause and Monica never asked for a penny more.
I would absolutely use Auto Loss again and I will always fight for what's right. I would not be surprised if the unethical insurance companies aren't actually paying people to leave bad reviews against auto loss because they are not on the insurance company pay roll. BE AWARE OF APPRAISERS WHO ARE ON THE INSURANCE COMPANY PAY ROLL!

Allstate hit me and I purchased a diminished value report. I cashed a check for $6000 thanks. The claim took a few weeks but well worth my time.
$6000 is great for a DV claim. It was a pleasure working with you. Monica Fisher Owner of Autoloss
Outstanding service! I have never had a diminished value claim to file for in the past so this was all new to me. I looked it up on the internet and read many articles on the topic. It seems you have to meet certain requirements like (you have to own the vehicle, no liens or loans or the money will go to the lien holder and not you. After all it is still currently the lien holders vehicle until it is paid off, not be at fault, file for it in a certain amount of time, and prove your diminished value loss. This proving the loss is something that the insurance company will reject your claim on. You send them stuff and they say you did not prove your loss, You then send them more stuff, and they again say you didn't prove your loss. It just goes on forever.
So I contacted Autoloss and after I told them I met the criteria of not at fault, I own the vehicle outright, Had the repair bill in hand I was told that for $325.00 they would get everything in order for my diminished value claim. They said if I didn't get a settlement for at least that amount I would be refunded the $325.00 So nothing to loose and everything to gain I agreed and hired them. 3 days later I had a report, with PROOF of diminished value loss. Proof in the form of a very detailed report showing comparable vehicles with similar mileage and zip codes ect. Autoloss sent it to the Geico adjuster after I read over it and approved it. 10 days later I had a $12,000 (yes twelve thousand dollar) check from Geico.
I am thrilled with this company! I hope I never need you again, but if I do get hit again you will be my go to.
Thanks again for all of your help.
SCAMMERS STAY AWAY
THEY PROMISE YOU A REFUND OF THE APPRAISAL MONEY IF THE INSURANCE DENIES YOUR CLAIM AND WHEN IT GETS DENIED THEY NEVER REFUND YOU A PENNY
BE AWARE OF THESE SCAMMERS
This client refused to follow the process at Autoloss. He would not show us any information on what the insurance company sent him so we could help him. He stated if he did not get his money back he would try to ruin our company. I can forward the email thread to any prospective customer. Thanks, Monica Fisher Owner of Autoloss
State farm stated they had never heard of diminished value. They have a ton of lawsuits against them. I found autoloss and got a check for $5000
