Authenticate First has stepped up their game in the authentication arena. Response are fast, customer service is great and the new online set up makes it super easy to know what pictures to take as you go over step by step. Other companies are very complicated and I am usually hesitant on submitting items for authentication. This has all changed with Authenticate First and now I am excited to submit items for authentication.
Poor website, no email updates to notify you there are awaiting a response from you. Took too long for the price of $45. I've found cheaper options for $25 that responded the same day and were very friendly. Wouldn't recommend.

The service that the company offers on louis vuitton is one of the best. They helped me get a refund for a very expensive bag sold as an original. I know the credit goes to one of Louis Vuitton's talents as an authenticator, Mr. Giusfe Palugue. Great team

The only reason I tried to get my purse authenticated was because I knew it was completely wrecked beyond repair (long story). I wanted to give it to a company that could cut up the material of the LV because that part remained unharmed. I wasn't trying to sell it for a high price, it was just better than throwing away a bag that could be repurposed. Nonetheless, the company claimed that the bag was a fake in every way possible. The customer service was impersonal, distant, and didn't provide any real explanations as to how they came to their conclusion. Their only note (when I asked twice) was: "Reasons include but are not limited to: heat stamps, fonts, hardware and other markings are not consistent with the brand." I know I bought the purse brand new in a boutique that is an LV distributor, so you could see why I'd want to know if I actually paid full price for a fake. They don't have time for that though. :)
We understand how disappointing it can be to find out an item you believed to be real, to turn out fake. There is no such thing as an LV distributor. The brand is very exclusive and distributors are not "a thing". Regarding explanation of why it was deemed fake, this is covered in our terms of service you agreed to prior to placing your order. Please re-review.
Turnaround time took only less than an hour. Very proactive. The way they generate their authenticity card is very flexible. Reliable site to have your bags authenticated.
I bought a Gucci sweatshirt as a gamble because it was marked down to CHEAP, 145 total. Sent in pics and with not very high hopes and it ended up being AUTHENTIC! This company is so ridiculous and very Unprofessional. They don't know what they're doing and don't know how to authenticate purses. I purchased a Prada backpack online and when I received it, I sent them pictures so they can Authenticate it for me. The next day I went on their website because I hadn't gotten any feedback or anything and they posted on their site that it was authentic but never Notifying me of anything. There was certain things that were red flags to me on the backpack that showed me it was in-fact fake so I let them know and they assumed that the seller must have gotten it repaired. I ended up asking the owner if the bag was ever repaired and it was not, but they just insisted it was repaired instead of telling me it was a fake even after I told them it was not repaired and I was not able to get my money back. This is a lesson learned to do more research before I buy preloved and to never to use this business again. They were just trying to cover their lies because they claimed a fake bag was authentic.
You are going off of 1 aspect of this bag, which is not an indication of authenticity. This is a USED bag and who knows what happened to it in it's former life.
Sloppy stitching is not an indication of authenticity - especially with brand quality continually going down. We cannot call a bag fake due to the stitching, it would

I purchased a Valentino rockstud spike bag from a reseller and sent in images to this company for an authentication certificate. I sent in EVERY SINGLE angle including the box, dustbag and tags.
I took it in this week to consign and was questioned on the authenticity by the consignment company. Following this I had it professionally authenticated in person AND by another online authentication company. BOTHHH have returned claiming the bag is COUNTERFEIT.
I am now thousands out of pocket over the negligence of authenticate first who will now shift the blame for their unprofessional and rushed service as an "opinion" for legal reasons.
DO NOT USE. THEY CLEARLY DON'T KNOW WHAT THEY'RE DOING. Counterfeit bags are circling the luxury market over companies like this who don't do enough research on products. Quick to take your money.
I am not aware that you have contacted us regarding this issue. Please give us the benefit of the doubt before making claims. Because others do not agree with our experts opinion, does not make it wrong. However, you never gave us the chance to address it.
They change the results in an unprofessional manner. I checked my bag before and it got authentic result, then I did it again with another picture (same bag) then got another result. I told them this problem and they erased the results of the first money. They can really check, but they are really unprofessional. If you want to check gucci, then you should rate it somewhere that specializes in gucci rather than them
UPDATE:: After I emailed them saying what they did was unprofessional and sent them other certificates, I told them to change the results and asked them to work seriously, my account was unable to useable. (image below)

First of all, we did not erase any results. Second of all, even though the serial numbers were the same, they were NOT the same bag - the QR codes were different.
You are trying to scam people, you are blacklisted from using our services again!
This is the third time I have used them to authenticate a bag. The difference this time is that I wanted to authenticate a potential purchase. The turnaround time was very fast and their improved website made the submission very easy. Receiving that confirmation from them made the purchase of this bag so worth it.

I Purchased a Louis Vuitton bag from Lv Boutique. Directly I sold it on Poshmark and it was Deemed Authentic the client got the bag authenticate by Authenticated First they states the bag was not realI told the client to speak with repairs at Louis Vuitton and the stated the bag was fine made Italy and its eligible for repair at Louis Vuitton. Please take the time just look for tips online how to authenticate all the date codes are online
The bag should have had a code, not having one is a sign of a counterfeit. We could not call it authentic w/the missing code. Since you found the code, we
Were able to confirm it was authentic. While the code is not the only sign we use for authentication, it is a major consideration. It was beyond our control that you could not find the code and we should not be slandered because of it. This was your responsibility to find it, and it was obviously there.

I paid $1700 for a YSL College Bag 1 year ago in which authenticatefirst deemed authentic. I provided them with photos of the bag WITHOUT the serial code (I did not realise that I didn't provide this) and they DIDN'T ASK FOR IT, AND DEEMED IT AUTHENTIC. I tried to sell the bag and the buyer said that the item was counterfeit so I reauthenticated the bag and it was in fact counterfeit. I contacted "Gina"/authenticatefirst though email (they don't even have a phone number) and they replied what seemed like 2 of the same automatic messages saying "We stand behind our expert's opinion that the bag is authentic". I have lost $1700 out of pocket and will never use this service again, I have found better services with faster turnaround and are accurate.

I've had 8 pairs of CHANEL earring authenticated by Authenticate First.5 counterfeit 3 real.It is a lot of money yo spend on these earrings as an investment.I do not mind spending that extra money to get a real evaluation. I paid for an authentication review along with and extra $20 for expedited service which is 24 or less, stated by them, I reached out numerous times without reply when it wasn't within the time frame, it wasn't until I said I was going to reach out to PayPal for a dispute that they wrote back, upset that I would call this a scam and SUSPENDED MY ACCOUNT.
DO NOT USE. There are other numerous sites to have your things authenticated and for cheaper than they charge! All these other reviews have 5stars because they have emailed saying if you leave a 5star review you could have a FREE AUTHENTICATION!
