This April we were outreached by AT&T with a great promotion to join their wireless network as we were internet consumers in good standing. The offer was $20 off and 25% off monthly for two years if we chose to sign up for the unlimited plan. It was a no brainer for us as this seemed as a magnificent deal. In addition to this if we upgraded our internet we were promised a total of $250 gift cards, one for signing up initially and another for upgrading. Done and DONE. We were informed that the promotions would take two to three billing cycles to kick in. So we waited! The three billing cycles came and went and no discount was applied. Outreached customer service and we were asked to wait some more because they needed to "link our accounts". And so we waited some more. It is now December so a total of 8 months with no promotions applied and we are out over $500. Minimum of 7 calls to AT&T and numerous representatives and no resolution. Today after 8 months of calling and following up we were informed that we will not be receiving our discount as we brought over our phones. It apparently did not matter that we asked this upon signing up and that NO WHERE on the email we received from AT&T did it state this. No explanation, no adjustments and no apologies issued so basically after 8 months of getting our money and business in a timely fashion without any issues they have told us that our business is no longer needed. I will say that at least today's agent had some professionalism and didn't hang up on us or laugh in our faces as the previous members have. As for the gift cards that were supposed to be issued to us... we got the links to "claim" them but the links went to nowhere. Their rewards department is allegedly going to mail one card within the next two to three weeks. The card that we were supposed to receive upon signing up will not be reissued as per reward supervisor, Kylie, because too much time has lapsed (regardless of the fact that we've called to follow up numerous time). Kylie also proceeded to hung up on me after discussing the difference between can't and won't. I wish we would've read the reviews. Lesson Learned.

At@t has great service as far as never with out service any where. Customer Service in the store...lack of sharing the entire details. My last purchase kept me in the store for hours with returning 3 times due to lack of communication. The gal in the store Desiree in the Victor location is kind and seems to have a great knowledge base she tried very hard to be helpful and could not have been nicer.
Where they lack is sharing with the customers what they need to do resulting in many trips to the store. I have multiple phones on my plan and I purchased three new phones right before Christmas two to give as presents and they shared I had to return the old phones...not telling me they needed to be reset. When returning the phones one my grandsons he had changed his email so they could not reset the phone. They were not in stock on one of the phones originally purchased...resulting in another trip to the store...Trying to prove I was my self though I knew my pass code and had ID was a nightmare and quite frankly rediculous. I have been with AT&T for over ten years had I known what this purchase would mean regarding time I would have most likely gone with another carrier. I pay 300.00 monthly for 5 phones.
Most of this is lack of appropriate training, a lack of consideration, and AT&T in general lacking in true customer service.
When sharing my experience with AT&T customer service they had a lack of understanding what or why I was even calling them for...again poor customer service and he could give me a 10 dollar credit. Honestly lets break this down I have pd over 30,000 for phone service in ten years... I will not be renewing in 3 years as my commitment to them means zero. Ot ten dollars...please get the details and know that they could care less about your experience!

AT&T a rip off
July 15, 2022

I was with Sprint for 10 years. I decided to go with AT&T after they offered to lower my bill by $100. I met with a third-party AT&T representative at a local Target in Westminster Colorado, this is where the scam started. I was told if I signed up for AT&T and brought my service over from Sprint that they would pay off all four of my phones within 90 days. I sent my phones in time and they were lost! After 90 days I had to call AT&T because I was receiving calls from Sprint said they were going to send me to collections due to the phones not being paid off by AT&T. I called AT&T after I received this call, I was told that the phones were lost in the warehouse and for me to call back at a later date. After calling a couple times over the next couple months the phones were found and finally found and the representative I spoke with said they were paid off. Fast forward to July 2022, I check my credit report only to find out that I'am in collections for $2018. I called AT&T, after being on hold for an hour and speaking with numerous representatives, I was told that this was never a promotion they offered. I'am now stuck with this bill for the phones that I submitted to AT&T when I switched over my service. I feel like I might not be the only person out here that was scammed by AT&T. #AT&TScam

Horrible service
July 20, 2023

DEAR AT&T managers and supervisor! I see why your customer service is sucks. Because of your manager and supervisor NOT. The representative. It's the management, if this is how you guys treat people I don't want to be part of this company anymore. I'll take my business somewhere else. People at at&t are rude and nasty. Yuck. Oh, and this steals money from you when you addressed it. They credit that back to your account you could have used that $80I Credit that back to your account you could have used at $80 $40. To buy food for your kids. They know exactly what they are doing. They keep doing this over and over on my account because once they credit that back to your AT&T account, they will get it back on your next bill. That's how they keep that EXRTA MONEY THEY They keep doing this over and over on my account because once they credit that back to your AT&T account, they will get it back on your next bill. That's all they keep that extra money they overcharge on your account. They were just credit back to your AT&T account because they know they will get it back on the next bill. It's sad. I finally realize that AT&T I've been doing this for so long overcharge me and then when I address the situation, they will just put the money back on my AT&T account. I couldn't have used that $80 $40 to buy a grocery AT&T, they will just put the money back on my AT&T account. I couldn't have used that $80 $40 to buy a grocery AT&T This ain't right. This ain't right you treat human be like this you will watch it will come for you.

Death Threat To Child
September 21, 2020

AT&T technician and Vice President Of Inglewood Chargers Youth Football Organization, Christopher William Parr, 1-31-1964 -*******447) retaliated against a mother on FB over a comment she "liked" about somebody named Brinona Taylor. In his own words as shown in the image he told her he searched her FB page and found her address on Google and threatened to shoot her "small child". When I confronted Christopher in FB messenger he went off on me in an angry hate filled, radical racist rant in which he wrongly assumed I was White, I'm not. He also went on to explain that he was avenging the death of Brionna Taylor and his cousin who had been shot by the police 12 times. I have images of the entire documented text exchanged saved. I have also sent this image of the death threat out to numerous media outlets in the Los Angeles area and have alerted all law enforcement, local, state, county, and federal. I can be contacted any day after 1:00 PM Eastern Time if you have any questions or need any additional information including images in Christopher William Parr's own words. Image of death threat and other photos for identification uploaded below.

I couldn't understand what was going on. I took it to apple and they couldn't help me resolve the problem so I decided to stop in to see my new mobile carrier AT&T A wonderful associate Jennifer made her conclusion of what the problem could be she talked to me and explained that phone wasn't reading the SIM card and that the good thing was I didn't need it I was so happy and I wasn't in the store not even 20 minutes She was amazing and she told me to call her anytime if I had questions I will go back to that store Jennifer is amazing!

WORST SERVICE EVER
September 21, 2020

I have been trying to get my service fixed since May! I cannot have a bill sent to me without them charging me to send the bill even though I cannot log into my account because they cannot fix the glitch that has haunted my account since May. They charge me a late fee every month since the only way I can pay is to make an appointment at the store which since COVID has been a nightmare! The last appointment I made I sat out in my car for over an hour in a parking lot waiting for a new phone and to pay my bill. They say they will remove the fee on next month's bill and it never has happened not even once! I have been on hold this morning for over 4 hours (still on hold as I write this) and I have talked to 3 people 2 of which were in India and had no idea what they were even talking about or any knowledge of anything ATT. I have my account for over 30 years and I can honestly say it's time for a change! This is the worst service ever and I would never do business with them again our new company phones we bought through Verizon got that deal because of the way they have handled my account! #ATT #attsucks #badservice #customerservice #customerexperience

A Big Rip Off
February 19, 2023

My Husband wanted to upgrade our phones called AT&T on Feb4th spoke with what we thought was a very nice Lady. She took our information told us our phones would arrive on Feb17th however the sim cards did arrive we call back to let them know we receive them. A Rep instructed my Husband to install them in our old phones then he switched our service over to At&t. We called back was told a charge of $300 per phone had to be paid when ask why was told because of our credit even though both of our credit scores is over 800. We spoke to many different Reps most didn't speak much english we never got same story from either one.$90 a month was quoted to us as our monthly bill after my Husband Military discount. Spoke with Nick at the Myrtle Beach Corporate Office was told the Phones were never ordered also military discount was never applied. He was sorry for the mistake and we could either pay $600 or Change our numbers which we've had over 15+years. I do my Business on my phone not changing my number or paying $600
I workedi Customer Service over 30+ Years I would always try and please my Customer
FYI: You really need to train you Reps

I think that AT&T is a little pricey, not a whole lot on their services, but its really just preference and which carrier you like more.

Horrible company
December 17, 2021

Where to start!
I went into AT&T Triangle Town Center on the mall Nov. 7,2020. My husband, myself and step-son all traded in our phones and switch to AT&T. Jump forward to Dec. 17,2021I have not received my $2,400 credit ($800 for each phone traded in). After 2months of no credit I went into the store. I heard that the manager and all staff were let go due to incompetence. The new manager said he couldn't help since he didn't know the situation. It actually took 6months for a new manager that was there to find my phones. He said he inherited a back office with over 200 phones that were traded in but never sent to cooperate office. He finally found my phones in May of 2020 but then he quit. He helped me out I think 2 months by giving my a mangers credit towards my bill then then the high bills kept coming because he couldn't give me a mangers credit every month. Since then, the store employees keep changing. They do not have a manager, the district manager pops in from time to time. He actually helped me to get my eductors' discount on my September bill( 2months prior to 1 year with At&t. He was over it with me I guess because I kept asking him if he has any updates from cooperate. Today Dec. 17 Im still calling the district manager and no response. I'm beyond frustrated!
I need my credit, over a year and no credit.
