The reviews reflect a predominantly negative perception of the company's overall reputation and customer service. Customers frequently express frustration with long wait times, ineffective support, and unresolved billing issues, leading to a sense of distrust and dissatisfaction. Complaints about unauthorized charges and poor communication from representatives are common, suggesting systemic problems in service delivery. While there are occasional mentions of product reliability, the overwhelming sentiment indicates that customers feel neglected and undervalued. This pattern points to a pressing need for the company to improve its customer service protocols and enhance accountability to regain consumer trust.

They do not respect customers' time and input. Almost zero customer service. I gave them one star, which is a lot for them. They deserve zero star.
Please never go with AT&T. I had an emergency situation and guess whose service decided not to connect with 911.
I am never able to make outgoing calls. People can never hear me. Calls drop all the time. This service is absolutely. Please save your money and go with a serive more reliable.
Impossible to talk to someone. I need my phone fixed but can't get help without signing in. I'm not gonna ask the account holder for her ss# or login. If I stole this phone the owner wouldn't still pay for it. Easy as that. Ridiculous
I recently switched to ATT from tmobile, hoping that I will have better network and coverage. It was a big mistake. At the point of sale, their staff at Costco Kiosk said all the convincing words and all were lies and untrue. I learnt the hard way. I traded a brand new unlocked Iphone 13 pro max for their 14 pro max with the hope that I will get back my trade in value of $1k. They lied and lied and I am now stuck with a very expensive bill, terrible coverage and poor internet. They misrepresented or did dishonest marketing on me. Will never recommend using their services at all.
I've been a pretty solid customer for 5 years if not more. First off they double charged me on a family plan ( two times for the same) (phone number).
When i called to ask why they dud this i was told they only keep records for 6 months.
Second they keep changing the dates which in return takes away from my play so they are basically double charging more or less.
The first 3 years my phone bill was due on the same date and then out of no where they started taking money out 4 days from the original date. Last month they took out the 10th for the 12th and now they are taking out money on the 9th. When i called to find out why the thong at the other end said because theres 28 days in the month and flipping hung up on me. GET YOUR $#*! TOGETHER!
I switched my business phones from TMobile to AT&T. The biggest business mistake I've ever made. The salesman lied about the price and everything is in writing via email. Trying to get any answers from their customer service is impossible. They will either hang up on you, send you to a different department, give you a number to call that is out of service, or say the problem is with the other department and there is nothing that they can do for you. I was promised 5 lines for the price of 4 because the 5th one was free due to a special that they had running. I was also promised roughly 800 to 1000 for every phone that I turned in and they would upgrade me. I shipped the phones to the label that they sent me and when I called to find the status they claim that they never got it. I give them the tracking number and for some reason, they find out that they gave me the wrong label and it was sent to the wrong ATT warehouse. They told me that they would fix everything and just wait for 4 billing cycles for it to take effect. Well, it still has not happened...they are saying that the trade-in department didn't leave any notes on my account and the trade-in department says they did everything correctly. The customer service is a complete joke...when I told one of the agents that I have called about 20 times that week only to be put on hold for 30 minutes and then disconnected, he literally laughed in my face and said well if I can't resolve it what are you going to do...keep calling back. It is hard to believe that a company, the size of AT&T is run like a company that can't even compete with the scammers from India. At this point, I am debating whether to just cut my losses or seek legal action. I run a business and I never dealt with a company that operated with such incompetence. Never again!
PS: Regarding the employee who was working alone on Saturday 7/29 between 6pm-6:30pm at the ATT store on 395 Easton Rd, Warrington PA, Creekview Center: when me & my 12yo son walked in the store, you were playing a song from Drake. I know that because I have tickets for his concert on 8/1 in Philly. Then! We sit down to discuss upgrading my son's phone and the next song playing was saying "The N-word," "The P-word," "The B-word." (All curses if you can't figure it out). I thought to myself how unbelievably inappropriate to be playing that in a store in front of customers especially a 12yo! Is ATT ok with those song choices? This same employee started talking to me like complete trash & basically threw me & my son out of the store while yelling at me the entire time, not listening to 1 word I was trying to say just because he wanted me to pay $500 for an upgrade that was eligible for a $100 upgrade. If that's not grounds for immediate termination, I don't know what is. Oh! Did I mention I've been an ATT customer for probably 10+ years and this employee has worked there maybe a year? Great customer service! Fire him.
Right from the installation I am facing issues none of the personnel or the infrastructure are accommodating. Unfortunately cannot even opt out of the service because of the constant lobbying going on.
AT&t locked up our phone even though we paid $110 to have it hooked up it was a brand new phone we just bought it from Best buy it was like a special or something if you had AT&t but we got AT&t and they did not hook up the phone we got AT&t but they did not hook up the phone they said that we had to fix it online because of some code or something so we tried it online and we couldn't get the phone going either they said we had to go to the store so we went to the store in Jackson and guess what they said we had to fix it online AT&t is a very poor company they used to be pretty good but not anymore all they care about is money money is a big Monopoly of AT&t that's just my review see you later
Be prepared to be on hold for at least an hour and a half and then still basically get no help. If you're an elderly person, forget it! They hope you'll just get frustrated and write the check. Stay as far away from them as you possibly can.
AT&T must be the worst ISP ever. Customer service sucks! They overcharge. I pay $64 a month for 6mbps DSL and I'm lucky if I get 3mbps. They don't offer fiber in my area and since they have no competition here either, I suppose it's easy to overcharge. I pay my bill via internet and their website is horrible. It takes forever and a few refreshes just to get the page to load. On top of all this crap, I finally get logged in today to pay my bill and the website says I have no service linked to my account. The same account that I have been paying them with FOR YEARS! I pray Spectrum comes to my area soon. Then AT&T can kiss my a** goodbye!
We used AT&T for my retired mother on a fixed income. Pricing was her biggest issue. If you did not keep an eye on your monthly bill, it would go up $10, $20, or $35. Their promotional rates were atrocious. You had to phone customer service every 12 months on the dot or your bill would be raised for an old lady with a fixed income. That wouldn't have been so bad except every time you called customer service: that phone call would take one hour and 20 minutes! This was my biggest gripe. Their customer service associates were based out of another country. English was not the reps first language. To answer any question they were required to read from a lengthy script. This is what made every phone call over an hour to solve the smallest of problems. T-Mobile moved into our area just this week and a friendly customer service rep literally knocked on our door. We were never so delighted to switch. Finally, good riddance AT&T. AND t-Mobile offered to pay any contractual debts that was left on our contract when we moved over from AT&T. What are you waiting for?!
I won't using this service provider again. I don't recommend it to anyone wireless is slow. Their fee higher than other.Over charge. They liar to get you sign up. Then you stuck with the plan. Be careful. Thank you
I went into the store today to cancel 12 of 24 lines for my company. My husband died 3 years ago and the probate finally finished so we were able to get a new corporate EIN number. Same company. Just a different EIN number. GG helped me. He was absolutely wonderful. No complaints. He did what he needed to do and then called in to cancel the lines and apply for the new account under my name. He was told by the person on the line that I would have to pay a $500 per phone deposit in order to start a new account. It isn't technically a new account! It's just a new EIN number. Our company has been paying for phones for too many years to count. I want to make it extremely clear that these phones to go onto the new account were simply being transferred to the new account. We had been paying for these lines for years! I just downsized and did not need 24 phones.
So, GG told me I could cancel the lines over the phone and he gave me the number to call. I told him he was amazing but ATT has just crapped on a very good long term customer. Never once have we not paid our bill on time.
I will be dropping those lines tomorrow morning as soon as they open and then I'm driving to T-mobile and moving all the lines to them.
Congratulations ATT, you just screwed your self of a very good customer. I will spend the next six months telling everybody how you do business and I will ensure that I take advantage of TMobiles referral policy and I'm going to refer everybody I can. They don't even deserve one star. I will also be looking for as many sites as I can to tell this story. Everyone should know that ATT takes advantage of their long term customers and do not care.
Poor customer service and price kind of high. Having lots of issues to transfer my number to a new provider. I didn't really like it overall.
The service sucks, customer service is atrocious and they charge you way too much for all this bad service. I'm switching as soon as I pay my phone off. Myself and my family will never get ATT again
Been with this company over 30plus years! Had it with the overpriced, undervalued SERVICE! Never had full bars. At best 1! Hidden fees up the ying-Yang! Time to move on to better! You SUCK AT&T!
Royally!im
Just tried to update my billing address, keep asking me to add unnecessary service for 20 minutes. And the final answer I got from the representative was sorry call to this number. What a joke, my time is important as yours people.
They gave me the wrong number. When I called the operator, they couldn't give me a number. I needed the number because I left my cell phone on a kiosk there. ATT supervisor pretended that she couldn't hear me and proceeded to say "I am releasing the line and hung up. I had to find someone to use their cell phone to call HCSO to locate my phone. ATT overcharges for services as it is and the service is never up to par. ATT would make Alexander Bell turn over in his grave.
Answer: Terrible service, this is the worst service I've ever had. Canceled all services with this company after my customer service experience. Customer service is horrible, their service in general is horrible, and they don't offer anything I can't get at any other competitors store. I wouldn't recommend service or work with this company, they are discriminatory and bias. All they do is take advantage of you and try to sell you stuff that you don't need so they can raise their commission. If you want to be serviced by a bunch of dilettantes, this is the place for you, bad service, work, and experience, Joshua at legacy village has terrible customer service experience.
Answer: At this point I am so disgusted with a T and T your customer service skills are horrible they don't help you out they keep transferring you to different departments just to get you off the phone they do not like to resolve problems and promises that they made they do not keep their promises they get you into getting into their products and getting their commission and then they screw you out of what they promise you I do advise anybody to go through a TNT they are lousy
Answer: Because they never really will cancel your service! They overcharge you and when you finally get a hold of them they still refuse to help.
Answer: To answer your question, Simply there is no accountability at AT&T. They bounce you around and they make NO attempt for resolution.
Answer: I use to work for AT&T, they have gone from bad to worse to I don't give a damn, and that's a shame
Answer: That is just silly. He wldnt be a multi millionaire if his businesses were bad. You forget, everybody loved him till he announced he was conservative. Isn't it all the democratic mayor's and governor's states that are going to shit? Or would you rather take crime over parent choice?
