Filed a warranty claim. It was "approved" and we returned the defective item but never received any refund. Called 4 times and finally gave up. They hung up on two calls and refused to escalate to management --- if they even have any management. Amazon should not offer this service to their customers and would not help to resolve this dispute. *** THIS A TOTAL SCAM IMO! ***

I wasn't sure if I was making a good purchase with this plan, but if it's an item you make intensive use of like a headset, etc it is definitely worth paying a little extra if only for the peace of mind that should anything unexpected happen you're saved from spending another $200 or so at the worst of times, like holiday season.
This company is far the worse I've ever dealt with. If I could give 0 starts I would. I bought an extended warranty for my refrigerator and since the ice machine broke I called them to get it fix. My first attempt was back in April. After they got my prof of purchased they said they'll contact me but never did. It's June and I called back. Nobody knew anything about my claim apparently the system didn't registered and never got to the technician, but nobody bothered to keep in touch with me. When I called today, it took me 45 minutes to get to someone who was a very rude and unprofessional lady named Crystal. She was working from home so I can hear her screaming children on the back ground. Not only she hang up on me once but the second time after another 45 minute of waiting she rudely told me that my claim number didn't exist so she transferred to Jcpenny where I purchased my refrigerator. Never again I'll do business with you.
Purchased my chair from Staples and decided to buy the protection plan for $19. I normally reject this coverage at check out as I don't believe these companies actually honor the contract. I just figured, you would call some 1800 number and nobody would answer. Well, I was really wrong with Asurion. After a year, my office chair began to "take me down!" I would type and shrink at the same time. Most chairs do this. I called them up, they confirmed coverage, sent an email link, I followed the instructions and they honored their commitment. I will purchase another chair AND I will get the coverage again. Great customer service, great resolution. Highly recommend you get this!
I am a single mom of three, two college kids and a teen. Have had insurance on these phones for 15 plus years and never had a claim. Tried to file one tonight and they act like im a criminal or something. Ive paid enough in all these years to buy these phones 10 times over. Im retired military and cant believe these customers service reps are so disrespectful and keep their jobs. To make a long story short, i have to fill out an affidavit and submit it along with my photo ID to see if they will aprove my claim! What? Why, when i pay for insurance, do i have to jump through hoops to file a claim? They've gotten plenty of money out of me over the years. Cant Verizon find a better company to do business with?

I dropped my phone and cracked the screen. I called ATT to find out what to do. I was referred online to follow steps. I received my new phone the next day. All my data was transferred over to new phone after I went in to the ATT store in Centralia, Washington. The young woman in the store was extremely helpful and answered ALL my questions. Dropped my cellphone, cracked the screen and phone started to malfunction. Immediately after filing a claim, a quick response was sent. Without any hassle or hesitation, a new cellphone was ordered and at my door within 24hrs! Now that's what I call great service! Thank you Asurion for an outstanding performance..
Was very pleased and thankful with all aspects of replacing my broken phone. Usually insurance isn't necessary. However, after dropping my phone one too many times, it ended up broken in my mind beyond repair: screen cracked & black (not viewable) in over 3/4 of it next day. All it took was one call and perhaps 15 minutes of time: 2 options replace screen & if no good get replacement or get replacement w/o need for screen swap first. Latter option worked best for me w/ a bit more cost & saved time in return. Total time from broken phone to replacement in use a bit over 3 days, which may only have been 1-2 if I had called right away (wasn't sure if had insurance & had to acquire the number again - so be more organized than me!).

I had the pleasure to be helped by Trinidad and they were amazing! Sweet, punctual and easy to talk with, plus they were super fast with making the repairs. Would definitely recommend!
Bought a mini split air conditioner on Amazon and purchased 24 month protection plan from Asurion. When I received the unit and had it installed, it did not work and was low on coolant. I filed a claim. They then decided that Asurion does not cover mini split air conditioners. They have offered a refund of the protection plan, but no refund for my $665 broken unit! How van they sell a protection plan and then decide they don't cover the item they sold the plan for?
Sounds like a scam to me!
I always by the Asurion warranty when offered because anytime I have had to use it, they came through. Filling a claim and working with their customer service is very easy!
John Virick stayed online chatting with me with specific instructions and step by step instructions to help me get my new device up and running. For some reason it would not update and transfer my data. He asked me to trust him, and I then he told me to click "don't transfer anything" and I did, we air dropped all my contact and before I finished, he had all the other data connected in the new device. I was extremely frustrated and emotional because my phone was down for hours, but John Virick was great and he deserves a raise for his kindness, over the top patience and determination to get the job done.
Asurion has layers of incompetent customer service and claims management whose only objective is to reject claims. I have spent days jumping through hoops and being placed on hold after five service calls for a Samsung refrigerator. The last two technicians they sent said they could not fix the unit and now Ausrion is saying another technician has to verify what two other technicians have stated. The Catch-22 is that calls to schedule this "final" assessment have been futile, meanwhile no working refrigerator, no replacement refund, and the complete run around whenever I call for status. Save your money and take your chances. Asurion product protection is a complete scam and the worst company I have ever dealt with.
This is an aggressive waste of money. They made me pay over $100 to send my Apple Watch in for repair, were unsuccessful in fixing it one month later and gave me $250 for the almost brand new watch to go buy another. It took six phone calls and two weeks to even figure out it was unrepairable. Disappointing. Would not recommend
Dealt with numerous agents there. Have been hung up on because I tell them that they should not talk over me by asking why they've contradicted themselves. They will lie and manipulate to not have to take care of repairs or replacements. Craig specifically will do everything he can to aggrevate you by checking in on you every 2-3 minutes. Then deny your claim with some bogus answer. Craig works for the office of the CEO by the way. Day Day from the Friday movies would have been better to work with than this fool. Guess you have to take whatever employees you can get, even if they only lie and have no idea how to do their job.

Called customer service to make a claim on 01.25.2021 because I have a manufacture phone. The phone has insurance plus Apple Care services. The rep name Brittany and her manager Steph where suppose to help but instead of helping hang up on me because it was closing time, well technically "time to go home". The rep Brittany kept saying that Asurion only replace phone when they are ether lost or stolen, but when you go to the carrier clearly says you can replace a phone. Why false advertise if you can help. I am going to take my insurance off. This so called Asurion, should be more called "we only like talking your money, for not doing anything!". I recommend not to get the protection plan with Asurion is a waste of time and a headache, that at the end of the day they aren't going to do anything.
If my laptop is damage and I'm told the plan I purchase covers everything, and when i try to get my product fixed and I'm denied, that's ridiculous! Stop lying and refusing to give people their money back. This is an awful company and I hope it falls apart sooner rather than later.
I received a new iphone and in the process of setting it up Apple had several ambiguous choices and instructions. Rather than risk screwing up either of my two ipones, I called Christian for support. He got me thru apple's rat maze, and was very patient and right on target with his help. Great work on his part.
Answer: Asurion insurance is who: Cricket Wireless, Verizon, & most remaining cell phone companies are with now! Just be careful b/c they are IMO SCAMMERS that will get you at one time or another!
Answer: Well, when that happened to me they sent me their IMO SPYWARE phone by the next day. I think it was like twenty-five days for my phone! I hope you kept your charger, case, & took the cards out of your phone first!
