Associa Kramer-Triad took over our community about 7 months ago. It has been a nightmare. Work orders closed and not completed. Unable to contact customer service (ever). I want my community out or I want to move. They are awful
One of the worst property management company I had ever see. Typical corporate culture, worst customer care, no call back if message left, no response on email, and if you catch the property manager on phone, they have ready answers not to have updates as system is down. I reported the issue on Jan 22,6 weeks are over no resolution. I would strongly recommended to stay away from this business and I am going to talk to my HOA members to switch over
I've been in Eagle Creek for years now and in dealing with over 1200 homeowners I can only imagine the pressure. But Kelly@ Associa handles the pressure very well and she should be commended. What a great manager to have at Eagle Creek! Thank you Kelly!
The employees sent by Associa to serve our HOA are terrible. They let a board member steal ballots and not give a tally. The portfolio manager pretends to be a HOA board member in open meetings and mutes owners. The general manager doesn't know the difference between Xmas decorations and trash. I could go on and on... If you are thinking of using this company don't.
I recently received a letter from Associa that there was mold on the siding of my home. So, I went outside & walked all around my home. There was no mold! I sent an email to Jackie. She immediately responded. She informed me that she'll review as soon as possible. She did! Then, she so very promptly & graciously apologized for my inconvenience! She resolved my problem so very efficiently! Thank you so very much, Jackie! BEST WISHES!
Association managers who don't do $#*! and then hire their own subsidiaries to "fix" problems. Conflict of interest in the extreme. That's why the owner is a billionaire.
As a home owner, a request was put into Associa HRW in Raleigh two years ago and three different times in total to please remove my prior address and to the mail the HOA coupon to my present address and still, it is being mailed to prior home. One also places a request for work to be done, HRW in Raleigh signs it off as completed on their website and here it is three months later and the work has not been completed. We are unable to find folks who want to be President of the HOA because all of the real work falls on the President who is not compensated to do their work. It is a mess. Same thing with gutter cleaning. Crazy rules... tree limbs will be removed if they are on your home, but 3"-6" above your home, (a great bridge for squirrels or raccoons) nope, it is your responsibility. Read the fine print before getting sucked into this group. Over grown shrubs that need to be replaced as the roots are growing into the home foundations... they do not deal with that problem even though the trees were planted by the builders. Pretty ornamentals may not be planted like weeping cherry trees, dwarf Japanese maples, Japanese Magnolias, etc. If buying into one of their communities, talk to people who live there, ask for their honest opinions, do your own research & homework.

Do not hired this company. They do not respond to calls to management. Grass cutting maintenance and plants shrubbery maintenance is non existent. We have a HOA covenant that requires all vehicles be in the garage or your driveway at night, One of the HOA employees lives in our community and parks their vehicles on the street nightly. This housing development now looks like military housing. The mere failure to return a phone call to a person that pays HOA reflects their interest. If I could give them a ZERO I would. Associa worst place to work at! When interviewing please record because items discussed will be denied. Training - what training? When you ask questions, no answers. Whether you are an employee or a Board you are promised great service and get none of what is said. The revolving door of CAMS is ridiculous. Take care of your employees and they won't leave and neither will Communities. Run don't walk away!
They just took over our community in Indigo. I have emailed multiple times without response. I received absolutly no information about the HOA to date. What a horrible HOA company. This can only get worse. Stay away.
We currently have them in Herriman skyline phase 2 and Amber D. Is about as bad as they get. While towing a vehicle which was parked in a parking stall and provided no information to the homeowner eventually waived the fees with no explanation as to why it was towed in the first place. To continually harassing me claiming I'm in violation because my truck is backed into my driveway impeding traffic. Makes no sense since my vehicle is in my driveway not touching the street at all. It has been a constant battle and harassing situation from one person. We are currently looking to vote them out and or change association's. Steer clear of this company. The cost is outrageous and we can't get anything done as per guidelines as set fourth in their own bylaws. Anyone wants emails for the last six years of harassment I would be happy to provide them.
These people do not respond to phone calls, emails, or online portal submissions! Very frustrating! Other residents have responded to my requests telling me that they have also not received responses. I don't understand how this can even happen to this level. I think they are selected because they are big, but they are certainly not any good. I hope our HOA will go with another company. It's rediculous.
This is a nasty strata to deal with, we had a Canadian company managing our strata but they sold it to Associa.
This company is so unprofessional and incompetent. We keep getting break ins, and vandalism, our parking is constantly facing vehicle theft and vandalism but the management refuses to put more cameras and security measures in parking. I had to consult my lawyer to protect my vehicle and bike, I secured my bike to the bike storage gate which had no lock or secure gate, right away I received a threat letter of disposal of my bike if I did not move it!, I had to talk to my lawyer and advise the strata that they need to put a lock on the gate in order to protect our bikes. Took them more than a month to make a decision!
My patio gutter was leaking water to the unit bellow me for months, Associa refused fixing it until I involved my lawyer.
I wish they could go back to the US and continue their bad management in the US!
RE: Property Management I will list complaints:
1. Management turnover.
2. Lack of interest.
3. Lack of knowledge.
4. No follow up.
5. No sense of urgency.
If they had no star I would use it.
Associa has been unresponsive to our property owner inquiries. Our documentation shows that we have paid our dues. Associa continues to send us delinquent notices. Maybe it is time to get a lawyer.
Mr. Derrick Orberg the manager of Westside Village in Windermere and Associa have wrongly breached privacy of tenants, encouraged owners to evict based on hearsay. Associa and Derrick won't rectify the situation but rather they ignore in hopes the problems will go away. Time for a lawsuit!
Absolutely atrocious customer service. Have a sprinkler that's shooting water onto the side of my unit damaging the siding, plus waking us up at 2am. Called and asked to have it fixed, and was told that they'd submit a work order. TWO MONTHS LATER, nothing. No calls back, no explanation, nothing. These guys are the absolute worst management company I've ever had to deal with (and I've been in 8 associations over the years). At the very least, call me back to explain the delay but ZERO! This is one of the worst businesses in town.
I wish this was different but it is not. Your level of customer service to the property owner is horrible. I am extremely disappointed and feel like I was sold a false bill of goods. You didn't manage my rental unit, I did. The tenant couldn't reach you. I couldn't reach you. No one communicates or responds with any kind of information. I am left scratching my head and asking myself why did I trust you in the first place.
I have been calling and emailing for a week to get access to my mailbox key. I have an urgent time sensitive letter I am unable to access because no one is calling back. I have sent 2 emails, made 3 calls with no response. No one can seem to get ahold of the person in charge, the hot tub in the community has apparently not worked for 5 months and no one has done anything about this. The residents in our community are infuriated by this situation and lack of maintenance (bathrooms also have no toilet paper in the clubhouse)... Far from a great first impression as a new tenant in a community "run" by this company. If I could give 0 stars I would!
