The murder of my front tooth occurred at their Klamath Falls location where the dentist said out loud, "I see an exposed nerve". When I asked "How and Why" (apparently a question he didn't like), he slithered out of the room like a snake leaving the hygienist to seat and seal a permanent crown using permanent cement. Then the snake dentist made up lies in my chart. This atrocity cost me 11k, and nearly FIVE years later I still have pain in the area where part of the infection was.
Aspen Dental LOVES to follow me online and have my reviews removed. The money could have been used instead to fix my tooth, but nope. They'd rather see me suffer and do whatever it takes to shut my mouth. This includes hiring an attorney to send vile threatening letters. WTG Aspen Dental.
Please Stay Safe; Stay AWAY From Aspen Dental! Boycott Aspen Dental today! If they don't have customers they can't continue hurting people then paying off review sites (to have negative reviews removed) to get away with their smash and grab crimes.

I had my teeth pulled years ago and decided to go to Aspen Dental in Dubuque Iowa to get a top plate. I had them make my top plate and from day one they didn't fit the right way. I went back later least four times to have them adjusted and every time I would tell them about how my plate would shift and fall out. They would tell me that it was because of my bottom teeth and using glue to hold the plate in place was sometimes necessary. I made an appointment at the Waterloo Iowa Aspen dental in hopes they would listen to what I had to say. When I got to the Waterloo office I was made to feel like it was my fault for the fit of my teeth. They put a realign kit in my mouth and told me that's all they could do. My mouth was so soar I could not even attempt to put my plate in. I can't wear my plate any more and if I do it's just when I'm in public for appearance and I can not eat with them in my mouth. But every month we make our payment for something I can't even use right. I hate this place they made me feel like I wasn't worth their time I felt belittled and felt bullied in many way. I feel like I was taken advantage of and l am thinking about suing them for pain and suffering
I was a patient of Aspen Dental at 1070 West Mercury Blvd since 2018. The 3rd of July I had a crown break in half. They did an x-ray and then put me in a room and sent in what was supposed to be a dentist. I could tell by her answers that that either she was not a dentist or did not have the experience to do dental work. Then they did an impression for a new crown and temporary.
They led me out of the exam room to get scheduled for a temporary. The scheduler said that I would have to wait until the end of August. I asked why. She indicated that they will not have anyone that could do it until then and it would be about 1800 dollars. I thought that was overpriced considering that the tooth did not require grinding off for prep. Also I was right. There is no Dentist at that location. Is it even legal to operate a dental clinic without a dentist on staff? They would not bill me or give me a recept stating that it was my first visit and first visits are free. They told me thst after declining the service. I knew this was strange because I had been a patient there since 2018. I resolved my situation by going to another dental provider.
I made an appointment with Aspen dental for yesterday at 3:30 indicating I had a broken tooth when I got there I was placed in the chair. I had x-rays and I sat there until 5 o'clock without seeing the dentist or anyone with credentials.
They told me "nothing would happen as they closed at six and all I would get was a treatment plan". Ridiculous
I got up and left because I think sitting in a chair for 2 1/2 hours waiting for a dentist when you're advertising a 25% off sale and I indicated that I had a broken tooth so they knew what was happening coming in is the worst service I could ever expect.
I actually made an appointment with another dentist while I was sitting in the chair indicating broken tooth and I called them to see if they would do something about the tooth while I was sitting in the chair because sitting for that long I had a lot of time to do a lot of paperwork on my own.
This is the Aspen dental on rinehart Road in Sanford and if was evident I'm not important enough to treat just important enough to stick in a chair for a couple hours
This is the worst experience I have ever had at a dental office.
DON'T REALLY LIKE FACEBOOK POSTING BUT I WILL TO SAVE A LIFE HEALTHWISE. I have had the BAD DENTAL experience with Aspen Dental in Mcdonough Ga. Wow! Don't go here. Read about it on yelp, Aspen in McDonough, pissconsumer.com and others. I love Me. I hate he pretended I needed surgery, and all that dental stuff not needed. Gives you the run around and overcharges. Read the internet reviews you all or yall. Dr. Kevin Oh and some of the staff members indulge in BS when thugs come in to harass patients. DO NOT RECOMMEND like others do not recommend, always get a second or more opinions. Some businesses need money to survive and don't you get used. We have some great dentists here in Georgia. Just check out the reviews -that will help you with your choice.
I went to two different aspen dentals in the virginia beach area and was told there were not spots available for me, i explained i had a busted tooth and was in great pain and was told to go to an urgent care for treatment. There was not a single person in the office nor in the parking lot when i arrived as soon as they opened. At the other location the lady at the front was rude and as i was explaining to her what iwas told when i called the number for them at 9 pm the night before she dismissed what i was saying and talk to another person walking in. I WILL NOT BE DOING DENTAL WORK WITH ASPEN DENTAL.
MA attorney general is suing Aspen Dental. You can read her updates on Twitter. Lucky you MA! When will OR grow a couple and follow suit?
To all Aspen Dental victims please visit this site Chicago BBB and post your review. They are showing A grade with no reviews posted yet. They denied my review since I no longer have a receipt. Two websites I manage don't count. This is hysterical. Please someone else try to post their honest negative Aspen Dental review at Chicago BBB; let's see how many honest reviews they will deny. https://www.bbb.org/us/il/chicago/profile/dental/tag-the-aspen-group-0654-1000030664
ASPEN DENTAL COOKEVILLE, TN. HAD A TOOTH REMOVED AND THE DENTIST THAT DID THE WORK WAS GREAT. I HAD DENTAL INSURANCE THAT WOULD PAY 100% BUT ASPEN DENTAL ASKED FOR ME TO PAY FIRST. ASPEN DENTAL RECEIVED FULL PAYMENT FOR THE WORK DONE BUT WILL NOT RETURN THE MONEY TO ME THAT I PAID. SO IT LOOKS LIKE ASPEN DENTAL GETS PAID TWO TIMES FOR WORK ONLY DONE ONCE. AT THE TIME I HAD THIS WORK DONE ANOTHER MAN TOLD ME HE ALSO PAID AND HIS INSURANCE PAID ALSO. I GUESS THIS IS THW WAY ASPEN DENTAL WORKS!
Went in with tooth pain. Ended up with xrays, etc being done, then dentist looked at my mouth and did nothing about my tooth pain but put me on an antibiotic. Then said I needed dentures- full set. Needed all my teeth pulled. Went to the finance person at the office same day, ended up with needing over $24,000, and thats after my insurance paying $6800 to them for this work. Signed the financing, then thought it over and all of this was a Friday. The very next Tuesday I called the office and spoke to the finance person in the office and cancelled my appts and told her to cancel the loan as well. It clearly states on their website you have 5 days to cancel. I did that! I was told no worries by AspenDental. No services were performed by AspenDental but they got a check from the finance company LendingClub for the $24,000 in advance. I am now fighting with LendingClub as they got $14,000 back from AspenDental. I said where in the hell is the $10,000 plus they still need to send back to LendingClub. I was told by LendingClub they now had to get an itemized statement from AspenDental but I needed to pay on my loan as it will hurt my credit- NOT GOING TO HAPPEN! I have been trying to get this resolved since beginning of October 2023 and no luck. Now I have a new account on my credit report that I will have to dispute as no services were ever rendered outside of what my insurance paid for xrays (day of first visit). DO NOT GO TO THIS COMPANY...RUN FAR AWAY. They are crooks and this is bad bad business.
Month to send records to another dentist then did not have xrays so lost my appointment with my new dentist i have colon cancer and may not get to dentiat for awhile
So corrupt poor service thousands of complaints and yet they are allowed to practice. Just goes to show who's in charge of them do nothing!
Went to Aspen Dental in Anderson SC for a toothache and replacement dentures and was told that I had to have a tooth extraction. It was the right bottom back tooth. Wisdom? I agreed and had it extracted. It didn't bleed which I thought was a little strange. I've had a lot of teeth pulled and that has never happened. When I got home my lip was swollen and bruised…I had paid close attention to not bite it! That night after the Novocain wore off it felt like I still had the toothache so I called and was common and told to take Advil as well as Tylenol. Did that but in the morning it was still throbbing so I went down there and they were at a meeting so we're closed for the day! I explained my problem and was told to call in the morning. WHAT?! Well, that was it. Not going back there. I got a call a couple of days later asking if I wanted the Dr to take a look at it. Reluctantly I went back because it was still throbbing. The Dr said it was a dry socket and packed it. That didn't help, it still hurt after Novocain wore off. It's been 3-4 weeks and I'm still having discomfort from it. I did some research and found that if a tooth doesn't bleed when pulled that it most likely is a dry socket. I fell that he should've known that was a big possibility. They tried to blame the swollen, bruised lip and the dry socket on something that I had done.
This is not the same place pre pandemic was. Everything is changed, including the staff.
I went in 2021 to get cavities removed. That incompetent fool removed crowded teeth and left the worst broken tooth with exposed nerve behind.
Whoever gave good reviews either got lucky or lied. This place is a scam. They are just trying to get your money. Read yelp reviews, I wish I had
My daughter, a veteran, signed up 4 a 6 month payment plan. They won't see until it's paid up-front.
Location of aspen dental. Highway 35 ocean township New Jersey
I have been looking for a dentist for a few months. Nothing critical, just need general upkeep and cleaning twice a year. I thought I would try Aspen dental. I watched the online presentations and it seemed quite positive. Therefore January 5,2023 I called to make an appointment. Friendly person on the phone, gathered my information and set an appointment for tomorrow January 6 at noon. I'm handicapped and asked about handicap parking. She said we have plenty. Got a call back about an hour later from Laura who asked me the same questions and asked me to come in 10 minutes earlier just to get checked in properly. She said there's no charge for the first visit, x-rays are free, a treatment plan will then be discussed before proceeding beyond day 1.
In general I am anxious about seeing a dentist. Therefore I'm nervous about the visit. So I arrived 15 minutes early and completed the check-in. Parking lot is packed and the plentiful handicap parking is all consumed by other cars. The waiting room contained about eight people who have yet to be served. I spoke to the woman next to me and said she's been waiting with her mother about an hour and that she's there only because her handicapped mother has Medicare and this is the only place that will see her. I said to myself that if I'm not served in 10 minutes, I'm leaving. At 12:11 PM I got up and told the receptionist that I'm leaving. She asked if I'd like to reschedule. I said no, this is unacceptable, something is very broken here. My appointment was at noon and there's no sign of me getting in for another hour. Something that was not told me on the telephone when I made the appointment yesterday. I would avoid this place unless there's absolutely no other place to go.
I was traveling. Broke off about 1/4 of the back top of a bottom front tooth. No pain but was afraid if I didn't get it strengthened the front might break before I got home to my own dentist,
I called and explained the situation. Made an appointment for that afternoon at an office about 1.5 hours away. I was in a remote location.
I was 2 minutes away from their office and received a call welcoming me and informing me that my appointment would be 2 hours long. When I objected, they explained it was their policy. I'd have paperwork to fill out, x-rays and a hygienist before anything could be done. I had not been told this in my earlier call.
I decided to go in and try to persuade them this was not necessary as I'd been to my own dentist less than a month before. Upon entering, there was a man at the desk complaining he'd been charged for work on 4 teeth and he claimed it was only 2 teeth. They were disagreeing with him. I explained again my situation and that I'd just driven 1.5 hours to get my tooth fixed. (I'd had this happen before to another tooth and know it's about a 20 minute fix). They argued with me and refused to budge as it was their "policy" to put me through the rigors. As I was discussing all this another lady approached the counter, and complained she just had a rough spot on a tooth that needed a bit of filing. She, also, did not want x-rays, a hygienist, etc. Again they would not budge. Both the lady and myself wound up walking out.
They also had informed me on the phone (upon finding out I had no Dental Insurance) that the "good news" was that the initial office visit was only $19. I didn't really care just wanted my tooth fixed but after my visit I wondered what the final cost would have been after the x-ray, hygienist and repair had been done.
They have unethical billing practices, they overcharge and talk you into financing the amount that the insurance company won't pay. They say that the price of the work that is being done isn't covered completely under the insurance and you will need to pay the balance. When I didn't have all the work done they were supposed to let American First Financial know to remove the cost, they never did. The excepted the insurance payment and the balance I was left with according to the explanation of benefits was much less then I was told I needed to finance. I can't get them to refund the money to the finance company and when I called to complain to the finance company I was told they couldn't help me until Aspen refunded them and they refused to do anything else. They are still charging me monthly for money I don't owe.
During my first visit I was told I needed to have 4 teeth removed and had an abscess that was very large. They were suppose to remove the teeth and they gave me a sedative to be used the day of the extraction that didn't work. They scheduled an appointment for a month later to remove the teeth under general anesthesia, I had to wait an entire month, in pain and with an infection. When they removed the teeth they broke a tooth next to it, they never told me or my husband. The following Monday I called to ask what they were going to do about the broken tooth and I am still waiting to hear back, that was 2 weeks ago.
They don't call you to check how you are after the procedure, they do not even do a follow up appointment, but over billing and over charging seems to be something they are able to do very well. I have submitted a formal complaint to my insurance company and will use every means available to me to get this situation take care of. They have been overpaid for services that were done extremely poorly.
