I have been on and off that site for years. After a spending a good chunk of money fending off bots and a TON of scammers you might meet a real woman. If you don't mind going through the many rejections when women don't like your profile picture, think your too short, not their type, etc., then you might meet a woman who wants to meet. I have had a tryst and a long term affair on AM. The women were very nice and my long term thing was special, but I could have pulled that woman at a coffee shop or bar if the opportunity presented itself. If you're looking to have an affair, meet a woman offline. It's safer and less expensive. If you're looking for a hook up, or sugar baby then Tinder or OK Cupid is a lot more bang for your buck than AM.
Ps… there are a lot of lonely woman on AM who just want to talk and suck up your time. They make excuses for not wanting to meet. If you are not looking for something physical and are ok with the "online" affair, then it might be worth your time. For me, I wanted a physical thing and finding that took time, game, and money for those bloody credits.
Who every created apps like these needs to be shot in the $#*!ing face. 5 TO 10 $$$ to send a fake person a message, so $#*!ing stupid. $#*! YOU! Waste of my time.
I like it! Been using this with nostringsaffair.com and having a lot of fun so far. Using them both helps me to be more active and get more replies so no complaints really! Cheers!
What a scam! I thought I would try this because it is one of the few site's I have not tried yet and it was rated #1. Unfortunately, I cannot tell you about my experience on the dating site because as soon as I created my account, my account got SUSPENDED! I don't know why it was automatically suspended, I didn't even get a chance to browse anyone's profile since I didn't even get pass the "Make an Account" page! I'm a 30 year old woman and now I am a very confused 30 year old woman. I am just going back to another site I used before. NEVER USE THIS SITE! Luckily I did not pay for a subscription...
Several months after I stopped my enrollment in Ashley Madison, they started debt itinerary my account again. Watch your account these people are villains.
Lots of people complaining about scammers on here...
Duhhhh...
Same on any site and Craigs List too.
This is still the Internet we are talking about here...
You just need to be on the site long enough to see the BS and weed your way through it.
Stay away from the profiles that...
1. Have an actual photo for the whole world to see. Any married woman seeing a fling should be discreet. So one that post here face publicly is probably a scam.
2. Have no photos whatsoever listed in their "private showcase". Either a scammer or not serious.
3. Does not write up what they are looking for in their own words. When you fill out a profile you can check a bunch of boxes and write free form what you are looking for. If a woman does not take the time to write something in their own words then she is probably a scammer or not serious.
Simply DO NOT pursue and spend credits on any profile like I've mentioned above and you will at least be in the ballpark now.
And... follow these rules as well when you create your own profile.
Does not mean you are going to get responses though... that is all still personally up to who you are seeking.
I've personally had mixed results here... but indeed met some very nice ladies looking for exactly what I was looking for.
That site is garbage and super expensive with 99% of thé profile There are fake. Keep your money Because i can guarantee you that you will be disappointed 100%. Good luck!
I received 'need to pay to read' messages while I was still writing my profile and have not even uploaded a picture yet... Women on this site must be desperate, LOL
I was drawn to this site in the hope that it would be more professional than the other sites which have serious scammers lurking as genuine members looking for partners.
This site too has a similar problem, and still worse that it is more global which kind of exacerbates those problems, and kind of defeats the object too for those who are not in search of porn pen pals.
However for me the real reason why I cannot contemplate continued membership is the exorbitant ongoing charges to use the essential site features such as messaging. These end up costing a fortune (if you are a man that is) because access to features is actually discriminatory to men given that women can message men free, but not the other way round.
It's exactly like picking up phone calls from vaguely potential partners who may be scammers, and having to pay collect for the privilege.
Very useful and virtually free though if you're operating as a female prostitute.
Therefore I think it's a business essentially based on the exploitation of men, sad or otherwise and served no purpose for me in search of a genuine partner.
Having then had to pay a further £15 to have my profile removed from the site in order for it to be unavailable to the site portfolio really did cause my blood to boil.
I would advise anyone in the UK in seach of "dating" such as myself to steer well clear and go to a reputable dating agency or one of the UK based web sites which are not faultless but association members. I would offer the same advice to those in search of "short term" relations to do te same with an added note of caution regarding scammers.
I'd give the site a 1 star but did actually meet one woman 7 months ago. I'm not a hard luck case and don't have issues meeting woman. I thought it would be a nice way to find specifics in what I'm looking for. That said, issues that concern me on the site- 1) The second I ran out of credits, 2 " women" sent me messages collect. How convenient. 2) But, they sent me messages and never looked at my profile? Come on, if you take the time to respond you at least click to see who someone is. 3) They have a " flirt" response on the men's selections that says "Please check out my profile to see if you might be interested in connecting with me. If you are interested, "wink" me back and I will initiate contact!" This is free. It seems fair, only spend money on messages to women that at least show a small amount of interest. The trouble is, The main response you get back is " Sorry, I only have time to review full messages" so a complete waisted set of communications. Come on AM, your way more interested in making bucks than actually providing any meaningful way for people to find others and pay you fairly to do it. Please, show them you don't like their business practices and stop buying credits, cancel you account, and hurt them for taking advantage of people...
In a weak moment I ignored my good sense and signed myself up to be done over by Ashley Madison. I probably deserved it. Please learn from my experience.
Most of the profiles are fakes or prostitutes and scammers. I got many messages from Russian scammers and prostitutes at clock work intervals (every 15 minutes or so on average when online). It would be easy to blow your credit messaging these people if you didn't recognise them. The few real women listed are unresponsive because they are already inundated with messages from the many men who make up the vast majority of users.
When I realised with considerable self disgust what I had fallen for I decided to close my account. Ashley Madison added insult to injury by gouging an exit fee just to close my account! They extorted extra money from me to "remove all traces" of my activities. Of course I'll just have to take them at their word that they did so. It felt like blackmail and just a little bit rapey too. You got me once Ashley Madison but what you bought from me is a lot of bad press.
With competition from Tinder and the like this business is circling the drain anyway and most deservedly so.
This site claims to have the best response site, and to connect you with real people looking for affairs. After joining and reaching out to several members the first 2 weeks or so, I received some messages. Then after trying to further those conversations, it became apparent that the "person" wasn't real or was an avatar posing for the real person in the photo! They don't answer your questions, they don't acknowledge what you're saying; and if you actually read the "terms and conditions" when you join; THEY ADMIT THEY USE FAKE OR ROBOTIC ACTORS TO ENGAGE YOU, FOR ENTERTAINMENT PURPOSES! What a croc of $#*!! I'm so tired of fake dating sites! God! Don't waste your money!
I agree with all the reviews below. Ashley Madison has some serious problems. I do not think "online dating" is a good description of the ridiculous things they do.
The whole site is a scam. Just google Ashley madison scam and you'll find out all about it. And even if it was legit it's totally morally reprehensible anyway.
This is a huge waste of time and money. Not one person is real here. Only scammers and bots making new charges to perpetuate a really crappy worthless site
Hi girls, I'm a fairly attractive woman who has spent the last 5 or 6 months on the AM website. On and off it really. Be warned, a lot of guys on that site will not be borthered about even getting to find out about you, straight down to the sex talk (I guess if you like that then fine). But what shocked me is that most guys would sleep with anything! I have a friend who also signed up, her personality rocks but physically she is very very large with dental problems and still a lot of guys would go there. In the end myself I met 3 guys off of the site. I refuse to meet any more. The first one was single and met me for one drink for an hour then left (must have been doing his rounds of women) so basically didn't have the time or day. The second guy was very very attractive and was hard to resist but again seemed to want to rush me to a hotel after one drink. The third and last guy I ended up seeing for about 2 or 3 months. Lovely guy but seemed to just use me while he was having girlfriend problems and when it seemed they were better he disappeared on me. This is just a warning to all you women that the AM site seems to be very toxic in my opinion, why would you want to meet up with men who are just totally fake? Maybe I'm a fool for trying it out. Men- I really do feel sorry for you if you are desperate enough to sleep with anything with a pulse or someone which isn't your type...
As one of the other reviewers had stated, this site is a complete scam and needs to be brought under a class action suit. A revolving door of fake profiles with unknown entities claiming to be women. 99% of the pictures that were provided I scanned the internet to validate using another online service. Almost every one of them were identified as being fake, pornstars, fitness pros, bloggers, journalists, chefs. And a lot of the pictures were posted on multiple sites for things like escort service in the UK, Twitter, etc. The scammers are obviously pulling bulk pictures from the internet. Most claimed to live in one place but then when you chat with them they say they're actually someplace else. Many claim to be in another country, and you can tell when the chat starts to lean towards them asking for money to help them come to your country that it's a scam. One user claimed to be a masseuse that was using AM to obtain business. I figured it was a robbery scam, with you naked on a massage table. The one woman I talk to on the phone sounded like an Asian man trying to disguise his voice to sound feminine. He/she claimed to be Polish and that was the reason for the weird accent. Their accent was definitely Asian. Several profiles claimed to be women but when they sent pictures they're obviously transvestites. When I called them out they then confirmed. Bottom line, Ashley Madison is now one of the biggest catfish ponds on the internet. 99% posers from my experience. Save your money and go out and buy a couple drinks for yourself. You'll be happier.
Yes you can meet ladies on here but be prepared to get ripped off a few times by AM in the process. They nickle and dime you for everything. Some examples, they automatically set up priority messages on your profile. The charge is now "7 Credits" to send a message plus "5 credits" for the priority. BTW, priority messages are useless, a lady will either reply or not reply and a priority message has nothing to do with that. Another rip off they do is the collect message thing. It is 5 credits to accept a collect message and another 7 credits to reply to it. If you get a collect message just pull up there profile and send a message to that person, don't accept the collect message, you can ask them what the collect message said.
Now here is the big problem with AM, they encourage prostitution by allowing so called "sugar babies" to solicit men. It really is a waste of money to contact them and yes "sugar babies" is just another word for hookers. Oh and the chat function is charges as well. If you want my advice as a big user for quite a few years of AM, don't waste your money. By far they are behind in the times and there platform is crap. Other adult sites have just as many married ladies of there as AM does and you get memberships at a fraction of the cost AM charges. A membership gives you unlimited access to everything, including chat, unlimited messages etc.
I posted here earlier, but one point needs to be reiterated: Nearly every positive review of Ashley Madison is almost surely a fraud. There are in fact quite a few sites with a long string of glowing reviews. At married-dating-guide.com, for one, there are currently 75 of them. You might wonder if so many reviews could all be fakes. Well, yes, they all could be. And are. It is easier than you might imagine for Ashley Madison to have the women whose fake profiles appear on the site spend an hour or two putting positive Ashley Madison reviews every place such reviews can be found using Google search. As for 35 million subscribers, this only attests to the huge number of men who have been scammed. My guess is that 35 million figure has experienced drop-offs of 34.99 million. Face it, guys: We are all suckers for any piece of $#*! that comes along. We want to believe in the worst way that some of these Ashley girls are for real. I wrote a dozen letters to one of them myself before I could admit that I was in denial. But I was. And no quantity of positive Ashley Madison reviews can refute the fraud that I observed for myself.
I paid 68 dollars and didn't even get a response from any one I messaged. And i looked to see if anyone e even viewed my profile. Well just so you know it's a rip off total rip off and I wouldn't recommend this site to no one. All the profiles are fake and all the messages do is take your your tokens so you but more. So take my advice like I should have from all the other guys who posted on this site DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY! SCAM and it's pitiful to take money this way and this site and company should be ashamed of what they are doing!
Answer: Guys, it should not be so complicated to reach out to a girl for a hook up! You can find thousands of them on https://j4l.com/402007 They will contact you themselves, you don't have to put in any efforts if you want to have some fun time online. Or you just need to travel to them but it will be very rewarding, exciting and, what's essential, safe and SECRET experience!
Answer: Cops won't entrap you on AshleyMadison, they don't care. But you wife probably does. Often, she is worse than cops! Lol It's impossible to stay anonymous on AM - it's a well-known site. If you want to keep your affair secret, look for a safer platform, e.g. http://J4Love.net I had two affairs through their service. It was safe, private, unknown to the world and tremendously hot!
Answer: Kind of expensive because they charge by credits. There are cheaper solutions (vm, saphrina, some aff sites)...
Answer: Well, basically you purchase credits and you spend them every time you message someone...
Answer: This site is free for women, which i believe is a big problem. That is why many "professionals" join and try to make you join other sites, cam sites, etc. On sites like vm, saphrina, etc women usually pay as well which is good for the quality of the female profiles. But i guess if you are a woman you should rather join AM.
Answer: The question shouldn't be is it real, but is it worth it. If even one man/woman managed to have an actual affair through Ashley Madison, you could say that it's real. If for every 1 real affair/hookup there are 100's or 1000's of fake users to slog through all the while you're giving them your hard earned money... does that sound like it's worth it?
Answer: If it walks like a duck, and sounds like a duck what is it? Going to church has gotten people laid more than Ashley Madison.
Answer: Bill, this website is not owned by Ashley Madison. If you need to contact them you can call their toll free number 1-866-742-2218. Good luck!
The overall reputation of Ashley Madison is marred by significant customer dissatisfaction, primarily due to the prevalence of fake profiles and perceived scams. Many users express frustration over the high costs associated with the platform, which they feel exploit their desire for genuine connections. While some customers report occasional success in meeting partners, the overwhelming sentiment is negative, highlighting concerns about financial exploitation and inadequate customer support. Despite its established brand presence, the company struggles to address these critical issues, leading to a lack of trust and a recommendation to avoid the service.
