Asda petrol station

Went to Aintree asda petrol station on Thursday. Had a problem with the pump after I'd put card details in. I put £30 petrol in and off i went.
My bank is showing a transaction for £30 and a pending £99. I know the holding system and why the £99 is held. Why do I not have two £99 pending transactions? Asda says it takes a few hours to a couple of days to drop back in my account. I can't understand why I've only got one pending for £99.
Two separate transaction numbers.
Asda head office says 10 to 12 days to refund the £99!
That's easy for them to say. This process has left me with nothing in my account for over a week. I will be visible on their security cameras trying to use the pump and only putting the nozzle in the car once. HOW MUCH INTEREST DO ASDA MAKE ON THE MONEY THEY HOLD FROM EVERY SINGLE CUSTOMER USING THEIR SERVICE THE £99 IS HELD FOR 12 TO 14 DAYS, MONEY FOR NOTHINGFOR ASDA. ASDA, YOU SHOULD BE ASHAMED OF YOURSELVES FOR NOT TRYING TO HELP ME DURING MY SEVERAL CALLS TO YOU TODAY, EVEN TRYING TO TALK TO SOMEONE HAS BEEN RIDICULOUSLY HARD.

Don't ever use the ASDA Online shopping service as my order was cancelled two hours after they were meant to deliver because of traffic or bad weather - I still don't know which it was. I requested a refund and it has still not been done. I placed my order on the 23rd March 2025 and have still not received my refund. This is so frustrating and so disappointing.

Ordered online to be delivered. A couple of substitutions were sent, and was told that bread was unavailable. There isn't a single load of bread in ASDA that could have been sent instead? Spoke to customer service, obviously reading from a script in broken English & only had one line that's he kept repeating like a robot. Was like talking to a brick wall.

Put in an online delivery but cancelled before delivery due, money taken from my account now been told it will be 7 to 10 days before I get money back, what am I meant to buy food with, will not be using asda at Bodmin again and won't recommend to anyone. Given a chance I wouldn't have give 1 star

Just poor

By far the worst online shopping I have experienced. NOT once have I ever received all the items I have ordered. I always receive substitutes (which are not healthy) and a few items are always out of stock. I will NOT be shopping with asda again.

Order turned up 24 hours late followed by a duplicate order 30minutes later & declined and returned by there driver to store money taken for both orders - customer care say it takes 4 to 5 days to return and now 7 days! Best avoided customer care no care.

Placed an online order 15/06/24 for 3rd party express delivery £8.50 (delivered by Uber) at Asda Southbank.

So between Asda and Express delivery. A full bag of my shopping with almost £30 has gone missing… 5 item in total (not the first time).

My refund… reject! I rang Asda customer services as soon as I requested a refund. I knew they would reject refund as their usual response is it shows delivered to your address.

The whole Express delivery is so flawed as your trapped between Asda and Uber who will take no responsibility. Instead it's the buyer who is penalized (no items and no refund) HOW CONVENIENT for both companies.

Be very careful when using Asda's Express delivery its flawed!

Placed a order to be delivered last night had a phone call to tell me they wouldn't be able to deliver it. Which I was unhappy about as I have health problems and needed some of the order ASAP. Was put in contact with a manager who kept interrupting me and in the end I lost my temper with her and swore once she then put the phone down. So I called back and apologised and excepted a delivery for early today this was confirmed by the person on the phone.
Sat here waiting this morning and heard nothing from the store so I phoned the store only to be told thar after my call back and the promise of delivery this morning they had cancelled the whole order. You had better refund me straight away as far as I am concerned its a form of theft and breach of a contract made between your store and myself.
Please think twice about using asda as this is the 3rd complaint in a few months.

OFF LOADING ALMOST OUT OF DATE FOOD TO HOME DELIVERIES Drivers on home delivery helpful, disabled household, but SHORT DATE PRODUCTS constantly being sent or substitutes that are just stupid! They actually refused to refund goods despite the food use by dates being the stuff you see in the whoops discounted counter but they wanted full price! Today wheelchair user forced to take photos to get a refund, as the helpline said ASDA doesn't keep track of use by dates, how bad can you as a food supplier get! Leigh area, Lancashire, England,

ASDA is a company that dropped honesty, quality, morals and standards
The thief who delivered my order **************) had stolen half of the items. You refused to provide a refund. I am now lodging a formal complaint with the relevant authorities. Your service has deteriorated significantly. The recent products you've delivered have been a complete letdown for both me and other customers. Outsourcing your deliveries may lead your business into administration. You have disappointed me on the last five occasions I've ordered. I will no longer be your customer due to this severe decline in your service, product quality, and customer support, and most importantly, your lack of honesty. You unlawfully rejected my refund request. This marks the end of more than 15 years of loyalty, despite your supermarket having the most straightforward delivery system (albeit with some questionable quality).
Needless to say I will be the ambassador of your lack of morals and standards and you will see my reviews all over the web.

Appalling

Only half my delivery was delivered, I got only half my refund a week later! Still fighting for the rest! Food is poor, fruit bruised, meat is dateline. Only used due to convenience but with half the food missing, it's no longer convenient so will avoid at all costs. Very poor since ownership changed.

The Customer service from the Sutton Asda GSM Manishkumar Barot is absolutely abhorrent how an earth can this guy be made to run a large Asda store with such extremely poor customer service skills, people skills and extreme! Language barrier problems how? Also the amount of both staggering customer and colleague complaints of which Asda head office are fully aware of but choose to do absolutely nothing at all.

ASDA, what, 50% Walmart? Who's running this business? When I place an order for significant items advertised and apparently in stock, then why should they not be delivered? Terrible organization of orders and service, and inventory. I buy groceries and many items for family in the UK from ASDA. It's just impossible to plan anything. Is Britain really this bad or is it this company.?

Worse customer service experience of my life

Wotst customer service experience of my life.
I wanted to give 0 stat but I can't.
Phoned asda customer service because 5 in 1 balander wasn't working they ask me to return in store for refund because product was not in stock after few days of return received email I will receive refund in 3 to 5 days checked after a week I didn't receive refund they ask me to call bank when I call bank they said no refund is received by asda then I call again and guess what they said same thing call bank when I use firm tone then they look into it and found out they can't trace the order and complaint is forward to relitive department. After months of calling back and email they said I am not eligible for refund and now I am blocked by asda. I just wanted my product back which I return to asda. So now I am not refunded they got my faulty item and I am blocked and cannot send email to asda customer service. Worse experience of my life.

Asda offer such a great choice of things at such competitive prices! I have bought toys, clothes food, footwear, things for the home, gifts... Every single experience has been a good one - I will use asda.com again and again.

Don't waste your time and money. 1st time customer. Ordered online delivery Sunday. Order cancelled by Asda. Arrived on Monday, faulty. Also had to pay extra delivery even though they cancelled My refund declined no reason given. A number of calls and emails later. Offered £5 e voucher. Hilarious like i would ever shop with them again. So told to take faulty item back to Rushden, I live in Bedford. Which means I would incur more costs. The whole idea of online shop is about convenience. Not with Asda. So I'm left with a faulty product and financially out of pocket. How many other people have they stolen money from. Definitely WOULD NOT RECOMMEND OR USE asda AGAIN. WORST EXPERIENCE EVER

Asda usually has good prices and good brands. I haven't experienced any terrible shortages. Grocery delivery is another story. First and foremost, your order is delivered with NO BAGS! Who wants to make 20 trips from the front door to the kitchen? Not me. Also, they don't want to talk to you if you have a problem. Getting to speak to a real person on the phone is next to impossible and there is no link for an email address. This tells me they couldn't care less if your order even arrived of if you have a problem with the order. These two things are enough for me to order elsewhere. There are other places that treat customers better and actually provide good service. Again, Asda does provide a good selection and I've only been short dated on one item that was delivered. They offer good value for the money, but they fall very short on customer service. Want my business Asda? EARN IT! Low prices aren't a substitute for acceptable customer service.

Delivery membership

I purchased the Delivery Membership at £6-50 per month, now I can order as required without a delivery cost, usually twice a week, it needs to be over £40 but that's easy now a days, I also get priority delivery, I can order up to 11pm and receive next day, can't be easier of more efficient

I can't believe how this woman Vania Faria (former Operational Manager at the Asda Wallington store) has been promoted as a GSM at the Asda Stonecot Hill store despite humongous online reviews complaints and social posts made against her of which all the senior management directors are fully aware of but refuse to act a classic case of unfairness bias and hypocrisy.

Very aggressive delivery driver( huyton Liverpool), I heard a noise outside looked and seen a Asda delivery van very close to my car (enough room in street for him to not park like that?)went outside to check to see if any damage I was happy that there wasn't I was about to leave it at that and not say anything then he shouted to me what's the problem so I explained calmly how close he was to my car he said back to me fairly aggressive the van has cameras and to report it I then tried to explain to him why I came out to check he wasn't interested just shouted over me so I tried to leave it at that when I was going back in side he was shouting at me three times that he was coming back to sort me out! I try to sort this out as calmly as possible this happened 7:55 in the morning!
