DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! They are dishonest, lie, cheat and steal. I purchased two tickets pre-COVID; I was convinced by the agent to book an open jaw ticket, which was not really what I wanted, just to save $400. Once COVID hit, and all trips were canceled, while all my other travel bookings were refunded, the airline would not refund this ticket as I had purchased through ASAP. However, ASAP offered to CREDIT the value to my account for rebooking at a later date. Prior to the deadline, I contacted ASAP and the agent, Lupin, offered to refund the ticket, with a $300 penalty per ticket. I agreed to that, as I preferred to get $1600 returned to me, rather than forfeiting the entire $2200 (not counting the travel insurance, agent gratuities, etc., which were at least another $300). After completing the authorization form and leaving yet another gratuity, my credit card was charged the $15 gratuity but I am STILL WAITING for the credit refund TWO MONTHS LATER. I have called several times and one agent is worse than the next. I am repeatedly put on hold for excessive periods of time.
I am ordinarily a savvy traveler, but this was an egregious error on my part, to use ASAP travel to "save money." In the end, even if they finally process the refund, I will still have spent $900 and received ZERO Value for it. ZERO. This company is a BIG ZERO.
AMENDMENT TO REVIEW. I am changing my rating to TWO stars because they did finally process my refund. However, it took me weeks of attempts, hours of conversations, emails, etc., to make it finally happen. As they had indicated, $600 was removed from my original ticket price (retained by ASAP, I'm sure). They also kept the gratuities, and "insurance"/protection fees, etc. So, after $800-900, I ended up with nothing but aggravation and a good lesson to avoid discount ticket agents. I still maintain that the best way to purchase a plane ticket is directly through the airline - no hidden fees, no processing costs, no "tips," and the rules are clearly outlined when a ticket is fully refundable or not. Sorry, ASAP Tickets... A few people tried really hard at the end to clean up the mess caused by the incompetent agents, but the whole experience left me with a bad taste in my mouth.
