It posts fake business ads. If you search it today, you will see $500+ round trip tickets from JFK to Johannesburg, but when I clicked it, it didn't do anything.
However, I have a more serious problem. We bBut in mid September we tested covid positive and the doctor said that it could remain so for 3 moths. I immediately contacted my agent at ASAP Tickets to ask if the ticket could be postponed since the airline would not allow us to fly. He refused to do anything and told me that the tickets are no good. Then I contacted Kenya Airways which was very nice to me. IT kept the tickets open for future travel. I consequently contacted my ASAP agent. He said the tickets were good to go on the date we are supposed to travel if we test covid negative. Three days before our flight, we tested negative. I called the agent back. He said tickets are fine for us to travel. Not trusting him, I called the airlines directly. She told me ASAP will have to reinstate the tickets. ASAP agent would not budge. I merged the talk with the agent at Kenya airlines. She told him to reinstate the tickets. He gave me all kinds of stories: The tickets are not available for those dates; for another date it would cost about $2000 per passenger. Again the airline agent o\told him that tickets were available for our dates. Then he said that there will be penalty. The airline agent said they would waive the penalty. Then the ASAP agent said it would still charge $275 per person for reissuing the tickets. I told him to do what he has to do because my son had taken time off from work and e'd like to go as schedule.
Then he told me that it has been escalated and someone will get back to me ASAP. Having heard nothing, I tried to contact the agent - no reply. Finally, i got tickets with $650+ per passenger extra.
I will fight it when I return. But, for now, I am down to my lat nerve with ASAP.
