I haven't seen any other provider that offers such a range of hosting accounts at such reasonable prices. Of course you should not think that at $5/month you can run a huge site but for a simple one it is really good. And you can always ask for an upgrade if you need to. I like it!

A few years ago I was looking for a new webhost and found Arvixe listed on some top 10 list. So I signed up and I was like, is this really what they recommended?, so I went back to the list. Sure enough it was already pulled off, but I already got everything set up so I stayed with them. A few years go by and I have my website moved. I get the renewal email and called the very next day ( within 24 hours) to cancel and they wouldn't. Everything about them is poor except that there was no downtime.

I had and still have accounts in Green Geeks, Hostgator and SiteGround. From my experience with all of them, Arvixe is by far the worst.
- Many functions in cPanel do not work
- You can't self configure php. Ini for VPS
- Their ticketing system is old and inefficient
- Tickets turnaround time is very slow. If you submit a ticket now it will take them 48 hours to respond
- They don't really have a QA department (in case you want to complaint)
- Their online support is useless
- Wait time to speak to someone is approx. 20 min on a good day; and
- when you do get to speak to someone they will always shift the blame on you - REAL $#*!S!.

Choose Arvixe if you are looking for a web host that doesn't give a damn about you or your business.

Arvixe was a good hosting co until acquired by EIG who owns 80+ hosting companies including Blue Host, Hostgator etc.

EIG simply destroy their customers with poor services once they acquired other hosting co
No response for the Tickets, hours of waiting for phone support and frequent disconnection, Indian or Bangladash Chatting support, outrageous billing department's customer care, poor technical support, frequent server down and you name it.

It looks like the General Motors before they bankrupted with arrogance and no respect to customers.

Arvixe is no longer good as it used to be. I had many issues with them! In the initial setup, support, and their servers specifications. I'd recommend you find another host provider.

If you host with Arvixe or planning on to, STAY AWAY FROM THEM! As a current customer now moving our sites to another provider, let us warn you about this company. The second you sign up, you'll get problem after problem. Your site will go down on a daily basis, you'll wait 2 plus hours online just to get some uneducated person from the other side of the planet, to sit there and tell you there's nothing wrong when you know there is. They have lied to us and many other customers (see what others are saying about them on other reviews sites you'll see we're telling the truth) in saying the invested money in new servers and the problem went away. That is an outright lie! The same problems are happening, when your site will go down back up and then down for hours, there are some that have been downed for days. Their support department is a complete joke, they cant read tickets and take days to respond and when they finally do, its about something you never even said. Do yourselves a favor, SAY AWAY FROM ARVIXE, there are many other reputable sites that for the same money will do what they promise. NOT ARVIXE!
