Unresponsive

Payment processed but no email confirmation from them on shipping or even acceptance of the order. Impossible to write to them through their contact form which ask for a captcha which does not appear on the page. Wrote to their paypal email address "*******@armor-x.com", no response. I am going to cancel my payment through paypal.

Cracked screen
May 27, 2020

Had this on the tablet for about a week. The first drop from about 3ft onto wood floor, landed on corner slightly toward back, and cracked the screen. Screen is now flickering and cracked. Funny thing is I was bragging about how cool the case was. I didn't use the tablet until this case came in and look what good my cool case did me.

I wish I had read the reviews of this company before I purchased a phone case from Armor-X. Basically, they overcharged for a case they hyped up on their website as great protection for cell phones. I literally purchased the same phone case from Amazon for 1/3 the price as I needed a case to "get me by" as I waited for the Armor-X case to arrive. The case took a few weeks to arrive, and when it did, I looked at this over priced case and compared to the one I had been using from Amazon. I only paid $18 with free shipping included form Amazon for the exact same case that Armor-X charged me $59.00. Now that I want to return the Armor-X case, I can't get them to give me the Return Goods Authorization that they require to get me my money refunded. Do not do business with Armor-X.

I ordered a case for my new iPad Pro. The website makes you believe they are a US based company, BUT THEY ARE NOT. I use PAYPAL for online purchases and avoid any off shore companies. The order was placed on Jan 14 and no acknowledgement has yet to be forwarded, despite numerous attempted contacts. When I realized they were
Not based in the US I attempted to immediately stop the transaction. However they have their account set up to immediately take your funds - so much for not being billed until the product is sent. The only data I have is via PAYPAL that claims the unit was sent. Nothing from Armor-x. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY

What are back in the 70's when you would order something and it's states 6-8 weeks delivery? This company plays it up that they are in the states but everything ships from China. Prices aren't that great considering the ship time. Normally when you order something coming from China it's dirt cheap and you're fine with receiving 2 months later. These guys charge premium prices and still ship from China.So, that would explain the lack of return policy and god forbid you ordered the base case and wanted to get the extra attachments later, way later. This company on any of it's ads, website indicates the shipping from China. Why? Because you know your sales would plummet. So, get a warehouse in the states, order a $#*! load of cases, attachments etc. Then ship from the states. You could even hook up with Amazon. So, in closing, $#*!ty customer service, doesn't honor warranty and ships from China, which means 1-2 months to receive. And look at the tracking I got from customer service rep. Why was this process through the same Guangzhou facility 5 times?!?!?

I have a Samsung 20 ultra. The case i got from armor x and it delaminated in 2 weeks. Tried to get a warranty on it with no luck. Crap customer support. CRAP product.

X67K | LARGE ROLL BAR MOUNT | TYPE-K FOR ACTIVEKEY

The bracket to which the screw-on clip attaches keeps breaking: my iPhone has crashed to the ground 3 times now and has suffered screen damage as a result.

They have replaced this bracket twice; I have told them it is a defective design and not fit for purpose, yet they do not reply on this point.

I ordered $100 worth of accessories from this company. Everything seemed pretty good and then the plastic part of the case broke within 2 months. I am not hard on my phone so this was unexpected and disappointing.

I have "submitted" the online contact information form 5 times and it always says "please click on the reCAPTCHA box" and yet that box doesn't exist.

DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY

I can't say enough bad things about this company and their products. I think the only thing worth what I paid for was the phone case. But literally everything else broke within a few months. I bought a desk stand for my phone and the key broke and according to them that isn't under warranty because it's physical damage which doesn't make any sense to me. Actually almost every key breaks and is never under warranty according to them. I bought a phone mount for my bike and after a few months the arm broke. I got them to send me a replacement, and in another few months that one broke and I was more careful with that one that I was with the first one and I treat my stuff very well but I ride my bike it should be able to survive bike riding. This time however they decided to say that I was too rough and that damage was not covered by the warranty and that they were going to replace it. So I think if I tallied everything up that broke I think that's probably about $60 worth of stuff I bought from them that's broken and I can't use any more and if they won't fix or replace is apparently nothing is covered under their warranty. This is a scam joke company don't anyone ever buy any of their products and any website who's hosting them take them down immediately because oh my gosh. Not to mention their products lasting longer than a few months and they claim their warranty is 2 years but they can have a two year warranty because it doesn't cover anything according to them.

Poor Design
January 14, 2021

The kick stand on my iPad MSX-7A will not stay locked in place. The hand strap is attached to the kick stand and therefore the hand strap comes loose unexpectedly; losing control. The company is in Hong Kong making customer service impossible. The only way to contact them is via email and you wait days for a response. I would NOT RECOMMEND Armor-X.

I bought several items from this company. The product looked strong and rugged. However with one month's use one of the components broke while taking if out of the holder. I contacted them and sent them a picture of it. They said that it wasn't covered under the warranty.

DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY, HORRIBLE.

I ordered several items from Armor-X. After two weeks of waiting and no confirmation of shipping (the money were withdrawn from my account upon placing the order), I contacted their support. A month of waiting, 10 emails and messages - no responses.
Finally, I discovered that they are an aspiring Instagram star rather than a business, so I contacted them on Instagram. They promptly deleted my negative comment, and finally I had a pleasure of their support telling me that because the product is new (the case for Samsung tablet, which was released a year ago), it will be in stock only next Thursday. Next Thursday, I contacted them, and they told me that the product is new, and it will be in stock next Thursday. Next Thursday, I contacted them again, and they told me that the product will ship eventually, but they don't know when. So I requested my order to be cancelled. After a bit of back-and-forth and threats of labeling them as scam with payment processing companies, they refunded my purchase. 8 weeks wasted.
Avoid them - it is a terrible scammy business that charges you money for the products they cannot ship.

I ordered an HX series case for my Samsung. The "new" HX series is a full body case. The website has photos and a description showing this.

The company sent a number of gadgets I didn't order and the wrong case. When I asked customer service, they told me the HX case was not a full body case. I sent a copy of my invoice, the website description and photo. I received a second reply claiming the HX case was not a full body case.

I sent a third email and a message from the website. No one has responded. The case, a charger + $20 shipping was $65.

You can get a much better case for $65. The attachments are cheap plastic and hard to switch. For instance, if the magnet is in, you have to remove it to put the kickstand on. If the kickstand is on, you have to remove it to put the belt clip on. The case is cheap, doesn't protect the screen or the camera and I wouldn't trust it on the handle bars of my cruiser, let alone a gravel bike.

Put that $20 S/H toward a better case... like Otterbein.

I purchased what was advertised as a rugged case. This case came with a built in clip and seemed perfect as it was shown in use while biking and hiking.

When the case arrived it was nothing like the site advertised. It was cheaply made, thin flimsy plastic. Two fingers easily ends the case in half... tell me what that is protecting. The clip was also quite cheep and simply glued on to the case, the hole for the camera not even the correct size.

I contacted the seller for a refund as the item was not as described. I was given an address and told when I provided a tracking number they would issue a refund. After going to the post office I discovers it would cost mote than the cost of the item to return it, $45 CDN in fact.
I opened a dispute with PayPal and lost because I didn't accept a partial refund. I have photos of this item but nothing was considered by PayPal as they determined it was buyers remorse however if the item had been accurately described there would have been no purchase. As recommended by PayPal I contacted the seller again to try to get a refund. I was emailed back by someone named Jenni asking if I would accept half the amount refunded. I agreed in order to recover at least some of my money. The next day I received another email from a Mr. Ng once again telling me to return the product to that same Hong Kong address that would cost $45 CDN with a tracking number for the refund. I am still perusing reporting this scam with PayPal and consumer.gov so hopefully nobody else gets ripped off and scammed out of their money.

Don't buy anything here. It's all a scam and they are making money off the fact that you can't return it. I don't know why PayPal fell short on this one usually they do so well protecting purchases. Buyer beware this is not where you want to spend your money!
