Ardene tends to have a high rate of discrimination, unnecessary stalking of customers who are black. I was followed in more than one store to come to this conclusion, keep in mind i am a Doctor and i do not wear Ardene's low quality clothing. Bad experience... Return label was not provided. PR # ardene gave me was incorrect. Soooo much headache. Would not recommend buying online, unless u r planning to keep the thing that does not fit. I had horrible, time occupying unpleasant experience with ardene team, note: ONLINE only!

I have had a brand new purse break as I was picking it up to use for the very first time. I couldn't believe it. I have had a pair of tights rip as I was putting them on for the first time (the waist band literally ripped off of the pant). I have had earrings and necklaces break as I was putting them on. I stopped buying their stuff as gifts for the young girls in my family out of fear that it would be cheap quality. I question the materials that their stuff is made out of as well. Not sure if they pay any attention to safety and quality.
The clothes are fun, don't cost an arm and a leg, and ships very quickly. The only time I contacted customer service it was a good experience.
I ordered 7 handbags of different sizes.Each and every bag is perfect in quality and packaging. I received my package within 5 days of ordering. Thank you so much ardene.
Horrible refund policy. On a top of deduction $ 5.00 restocking fee, they don't refund shipping ( which they charged a tax on shipping on a first place). Horrible scam

I bought a pair of sandals and a bag from the store in South Shore Plaza, Braintree. I bought these things specifically for a trip I was going to. I kept them from April to June and when I was on my holiday in June I was shocked when the shoes I had never one and the bag I had never used both broke within days of each other. I was so embarrassed and in complete disbelief. I emailed them only for them to write me a short paragraph with a meager apology. Thanks but no thanks, what about my hard earned money? I will never shop there again. Be careful when you buy from there. The quality is very poor.
I purchased a bunch of items online and went out to have it returned right before the 30days. The girl mentioned that I have to send it out. Life happened and got busy, by the time I called it was under 2 weeks. Customer service representative was not willing to even be bothered. I mentioned that I got there before the 30-day policy. He could've made an exception if he wanted to. We hit holiday and it was a matter of a few days.
I will honestly not buy from there anymore. He acted like we were talking about 100s of dollars.
Especially around this time, people want their money back and people buy online. So it should've been extended in first place.
Clothes were horrible fit and sized were off.
I generally love this store! However, because of COVID-19, I had to shop online for a bra, and they won't let me return it. I've literally only worn it for a minute to see how it looks, and it makes my breasts look triangular. Very sad with the turnout, and even more sad by the fact they won't let me return it for at least a refund. I would advise against shopping here for anything "unmentionable". I probably won't be shopping online here again.

Very bad customer servise, i called supervisor and she talked to me in a rude way no apologies! They said the item arrives in 3 business day... but its not true!
Almost 1 week now and nothing although i got message that its delivered to me! And they connected to Post Canada and No response they didnot know where is my item or what is the status of it LOOL

I ordered something on a guess account but then when I made a account and went to my orders it did not show my Oder and I'm mad because it took money off of it but I didn't show my Oder when I made a acc so if I get scammed then I'll be upset but i just ordered it so it will take 1-2 days so I'll update if it even comes
They care more about money than customers. They wouldnt answer my calls or emails, and refused to refund me when I used a gift card to buy a couple items and with the remaining balance I used my credit card and it ALL got charged to my credit card and they refused to refund me.

Over half of the clothes I ordered (I ordered a lot) were poor quality and looked nothing like the pictures! If you are anywhere other than Canada NEVER buy from them. They make returns IMPOSSIBLE. Live and learn
Using a pre-paid 100 dollar MasterCard I ordered from 2 sites. The second site was Ardene. I had 37 left on the card and ordered 36.50 worth of stuff. I never received an update on the progress on my order. I received an order confirmation day 1 but how to track was not in the email.
7 days go by and I call MasterCard as the order is still pending. They tell me it was declined by Ardene. ( No email from Ardene telling me this)
WHY? Because I only has the cost of the order plus 50 cents left on my card. Apparently I need to have 20 % of the order on my card in case there are unexpected costs. That means I need to have the cost of my order PLUS 20 % of that before the order is OK'd
That is so bloody stupid. It is a pre-paid MasterCard which is basically like cash. If the card does not have enough money it cannot be used. A penny short and it is declined. Now I have to wait 10 days for Ardene to refund my money ( because they already put a pending on my card) and then MasterCard will put it back on my PRE-PAID card.
Cheep low quality company. I have used these cards for many years with so many clothing companies. Never an issue.
As a past employee I regret working for this company. The lack of professionalism and low pay for quality of work is when I had to leave.
After wearing this newly purchased flat twice. The fabric peeled off. Shoes are of cheap quality. Disappointing.

My first order: ordered boots, they arrived with a 5mm HOLE in the sole! No quality control? They contacted me and offered me 20% off my NEXT ONLINE purchase... of anything that's NOT 50% off! Their customer service should have applied it to my APP ACCOUNT and offered it towards ANY FUTURE in-store or online purchase! Poor customer service, poor quality control = bad business!
One, I worked here and that was awful in itself, terrible and disgusting, there is no wonder Ardene is going downhill and out of business, after working here I know ins and jots that I wish I didn't they are a completely unethical company and they are the worst for customer service I hated it. Second, as a customer, it's an awful awful company. Cheap clothing and accessories and god awful customer service in resolving issues. I am so disappointed and unimpressed with the Ardene company. I will never order from them again, nor will I shop in their stores. There service department made 100% sure of that. Terrible, disappointing, and unethical customer service.
My biggest complaint is that I ordered 2 separate orders from them online, they then reversed the payments, and sent my money back, than 2 weeks later they send me my stuff then take the money out again. If I was not as on top of my bank account and my money as I am I might have missed this, and this could have caused me to miss a payment on something more important. Due to their ignorance and there lack or rectifying the issue I will never support this company again.
