I was hesitant to call for help, but had heard commercials and decided in our situation I needed guidance in finding care for our senior. I received a call from Rose and she was so understanding and helpful and walked me through every step of the process in finding a facility and suggesting applying for VA benefits. I would have been lost without her knowledge and patience in helping me navigate it all. I would HIGHLY recommend the services to anyone needing to locate a senior living facility.

The senior advisor I dealt with was very knowledgeable and able to give me a list of places based on my specific criteria. She even helped with setting up tour appointments for me. I received invaluable information regarding my moms needed level of care form the friendly rep I spoke with. James was familiar with the geographic area I was interested in and knew the particulars of the different options. He was patient and sensitive to budget needs. He asked questions about my mothers particular needs and was able to make personalized suggestions. We did end up choosing one of his suggestions. I am grateful for his expertise and the time he spent speaking with me as well as helping set up appointments.

Nicholle was wonderful. She provided options that were in our price range, then did some additional digging to let us know who had specials going on or facilities that had extra amenities so that the search was easy for us.

She had personal experience of having been in the home that we chose and she helped us in our search every step of the way. She emailed, texted and took phone calls and adjusted the search criteria as we needed. We got 12 very good leads from her to check out and my Uncle is now in the perfect situation for the level of care he needs in a home that is AMAZING!

From my Mothers sudden and life changing diagnosis, Joy with A Place for Mom offered comfort, compassion, vital information, and basically guided us through the difficult decisions and options available. With their expert knowledge, they helped us every step of the way. From taking our information and doing all of the research that would have overwhelmed even the smartest person, to helping us with what places were available and what questions were asked. They were our liaison between the hospital Social Worker and all the facilities. Most importantly, they listened to us, validated our emotions and reminded us, that everything would be ok.

Counselor's help is invaluable in focusing your search, contacting facilities that you might be interested in and scheduling tours. The online scheduling tools are also helpful as are the emails that address related issues that you need to consider

When I reached out to A Place for Mom I had no idea what I was doing or how the organization worked. My parents needed a place to go as their condo was not conducive to their new needs. I live in one city and my brother in another and had no idea what we were going to do. Their representatives reached out quickly. I wasn't quite ready to deal with the situation at that time but when I did decide I needed help they were there. Rose was AMAZING!
