I was assigned Angie to help me find a place for my mom. I was sent several places to review and tours was set up. Angie called after tours to see if we liked the place. She even called daily to check how things were going with my mom, paperwork, and the doctors. I am so happy to have had her. She stayed in touch throughout the entire process.

Provided good information. Very helpful. Many calls from facilities outside the geographic area.

We were looking for an assisted living for our parents and the representative Adam was very helpful in setting up tours and contacting me to see how things were going.

Natalie is such a special person, she took the time to search out the best places for my sister. She kept us updated throughout the entire process, her attention to detail was outstanding and when we made our choice for my sister, she continued to stay on top of the whole process. We have used "A Place For Mom" 3 times to find senior housing for my mother over the last 4 years.
My mom started in Assisted living and has gone through Memory Care and has been forced to move due to economic conditions. My mom was failing daily, and we knew something had to happen. So I reached out and within a couple hours I had 4 appointments with local Senior Living facilities in my area. I first emailed A Place for Mom and the communities phoned me within a couple hours to set up visitation appointments. We ended up contracting with one and are in process of waiting for my mom to be released from Nursing Facility to join the community. Thank you so much for your quick, professional help with this matter!

When learning of my 75 yo brother's Alzheimer's diagnosis, we brought him back to IA from Texas where he lived for the last 40+ years. Overwhelmed with the situation, I didn't know what to do or where to even start. Asking around, it was clear that A Place for Mom is THE place to start. They are familiar with the Sr. Living Residences and the care offered by each place. They also explain other alternatives which can be considered. They helped me set up appointments for tours and continually check to see how the search was going. I would recommend A Place for Mom because THEY KNOW WHAT TO DO AND HOW TO DO IT!

A Place for mom quickly and efficiently sent me a list of resources, set up tours, and pivoted when I wanted to look at other options.
My only complaint is that 5 minutes after I finished speaking with them my phone started to ring off the hook with the facilities trying to setup additional tours. It was a bit overwhelming.

A great way to increase the likelihood of a true comparison of what's out there.

I reached out to A Place For Mom when I was at my absolute lowest exactly 2 weeks ago. I chatted with the loveliest person, and within hours appointments were scheduled for memory units that would better suit my family member. It was overall a very, very lovely experience and here we are moving him into a new facility in the next day or two. I would never have known about this new facility if it was not for the initial phone call I made. I'm just so grateful and so relieved.

I recently took over as power of attorney for both my brother and sister in law. They could no longer mentally or financially take care of themselves. Since I'm 71 I had no idea how to start the process of placing them in an independent living facility. A Place for Mom got me started.
