I have used A Place for mom several times over the past 3 years. But it was not until two months ago that I finally made the decision to move my parents from AZ to SC - over 2,000 miles! A Place for Mom set up several tours for me each time I needed to look at all the options available. A few times there were excessive phone calls from several representatives, until I finally stayed with Phillip Staton. He was not pushy and only called when necessary. I am very grateful for their help

Natalie May was a wealth of information and support as we navigated finding my mom a happy forever home that she could age in place. Natalie regularly checked in to see where we were in the process and answered every question. My mom was actually excited about the change of residency from her 27 years at her previous home. My mom can't wait to acclimate and have regular activities geared towards her abilities and interests. A place for Mom was an answer to prayers.

AI needed to move my mother to assisted living. My counselor had places for me to visit set up the same day I called in. I was sent a summary of each location and a list of things to look for to help with my.decision. He called or texted with me several times a day and was available when I needed to talk through some concerns and options. Really grateful for the support and quick response time.

I needed to place my love one in an Assisted Living facility right away and A Place For Mom came to my rescue.

It was a great experience to work with A Place for Mom in searching for a nursing home for my dad. We had very specific requirements which were identified in our search. We were given many different options to choose from.

They have helped me twice now, with my dad, who is 72 to move in to first a senior living community. He and now an independent living place where he is served food. He referred me to several very good organizations and facilities and I was able to place my loved one much quicker and easier than i could have imagined. The facility seems to be a perfect fit. I am grateful and so relieved to have found such a resource.

It's really difficult to do individual research when life suddenly changes and it was really helpful to have assistance from A Place for Mom while juggling so many necessary issues.

I desperately needed help in locating a retirement community which would make my later life safe and comfortable. Ironically, this was a place for me, an old retired soldier and father, and not "Mom." The wide range of extremely qualified places to which A Place for Mom referred me were all so wonderful, it became difficult to reach the final decision of which would be best for me. They were always there to help me and gave me great tips and recommendations for those considerations that are most important. Their giant store of experience makes them true experts in this particular task. I doubt any other source of assistance would have served me better than the support I received from A Place for Mom. I am truly grateful for the superb help they gave me and the new home I will occupy tomorrow. I'm all moved in and only need to make the drive to my new home tomorrow and begin a new experience to which I've so been looking forward.

I completed an online request for help in finding a nearby assisted living facility for my 90 year old mother. Within minutes, I received a phone call from Natalie, asking how she could help. I answered her questions, and within the same day, she made a couple of appointments for me to tour possible options. Natalie also forwarded my contact information to more places that called me within the next 2 days. We scheduled 3 visits that met our criteria and declined on a few that were not located in the desired area. Everyone who contacted me were so nice and helpful. Throughout the week, Natalie followed up to make sure we were being contacted, and asked for feedback. We made the decision within 2 days and moved our mom into her new home within 5 days. Mom is happy with our choice so far, and we are so grateful for the help we received. Thank you!

What a helpful, supportive and postitive experience working with A Place For Mom! We had to move my 91 year old mother from independent living to assisted living after she fell and broke her hip along with other complications. Our advisor Jennifer W. Was experienced, very knowledgeable, accessible and provided great guidance and follow up. She was able to recommend facilities based on my Mom's situation, needs and location. As a result, we found the right place for my Mom in a very short amount of time. It is very evident that the senior care facilities are familiar in working with A Place For Mom and advisors. Would strongly, strongly recommend utilizing A Place For Mom.

I was skeptical at first but really needed help finding assisted living for my mother. My skepticism quickly changed to optimism the first time I spoke to Angie at A Place for Mom. She was patient, kind, understanding, knowledgeable, and quickly became a good friend. After giving her the summary of what I was looking for, where, and how much we could afford she got right to work. It was nice getting all the information I couldn't find online in one spot. Angie had great patience while we worked through the different assisted living facilities in our area and then scheduled my first tours. When those places didn't seem to be a good fit, we would talk through it and discuss more options. Overall, I think I toured 6-8 different assisted living facilities, and with Angie's help I knew just what to ask when I toured. She helped me become much more knowledgeable about how all of this works and what to look for in a new home for my mom. Her follow up was perfect, and she never pushed or asked more than I could give. Mom was in and out of the hospital and rehab facilities while I was working hard to find a place for her. Angie was truly an angel in the way she handled everything and kept me from feeling like I was all alone. (I'm the only child of a single mother) She set up the tours when it was convenient for my schedule, and working together as a team, I was successful in finding the perfect place. By using email, text, and phone calls, Angie and I coordinated every move along the way, and it was more than perfect. She provided tips for financing assistance, assisted living, group homes, and was able to send me reviews on the different places I considered. The whole experience took me from being depressed and not sure where to turn for help, to a bright happy sunny day when my mom moved into her new place. Angie has since followed up with me to be sure all was going well, and that mom was happy, which of course, meant I was happy. I am now a big supporter of "A Place for Mom" and Angie is my friend for life. I will now recommend them to anyone who will listen and am forever thankful that I got in touch with them. The decision to contact them was not easy, but after my first phone call with them I quickly realized it was truly a blessing. No sales pitches, no pressure, they really are there to help. As a free service, I feel like it is one of the best experiences I have ever had at a time when I really needed it. It's true that they are there to help when you need it the most!

You tell them what you're looking for and they sell your info to like 30 facilities who call you at cutthroat speeds to feed upon your sadness like a shark on an injured seal. If all communication was via email, it would have been somewhat manageable.

I found the "service" to be annoying and there was no value added. I won't be using the service again. I consider calls before 9:00am to be abusive.
