Filed my tax 1st time with AOTAX and satisfied with their service. I had applied for wife's ITIN as well through COA process. It took a bit more time from IRS but during this complete period AOTAX associates were following with me and taking updates periodically. Also received notice from IRS regarding some missing documents for ITIN but Sunil Dokka from AOTAX helped us to revert on the notice with proper documents. I appreciate for your help during this process. I thought I would never receive ITIN for 2020 returns but with your help and efforts, we have received the ITIN number.

They are not an organized firm. They hires the college students from india for 3-4 months(Jan-April) for this job. They makes enoumous mistakes in filing. You will NEVER find any person once you have paid for the service. They just don't care even to reply your email. The entire scam is getting run from India. They will never do anything against any kind of letter/notice from IRS. DON't go for the cheap rates. It may take more than a year to fight with the dispute/litigation or payment issue. I am a victim of this AOTax SCAM.

AOTax is giving good support till we make payments. This time they made mistakes in my last name. Always comes up with lies if any mistakes happens. Don't expect any support if payment made for Fbar kind of services if we paid initially. Not recommending to anyone because of this year experience. Horrible

This is a classic example of a fraud company.
They will fool you by making a wrong draft showing us that we will get $XYZ return, then they will ask us to pay for their payment and then they will file taxes with the different calculation where there is no return but we have to pay way more.
No one accepting their mistake, no one there to receive a phone call and respond to an email because they got payment.
Every time their customer care telling that they will update in 24 hours & they will reply to an email but no email and no callback.
I recommend to all that do not file taxes with this fraud company and do not recommend it to your friend or relatives. This company should be ban from the USA.

I had a very bad experience with AO Tax this year, I am filing with them last 7 years but I never had such an experience. The dedicated account manager does not know the basic tax rules, they are not responding for days to my queries. My 5th-grade kid is better than so Called CROs (client Relationship officers), they don't know the basics, Looks like they are data entry operators. If you ask any question, immediately you will get a response "system is showing that value". It's time to get out of AOTAX.

I am filing taxes with AOTAX from last five years but first time I feel like they no longer care about their customers. I am trying to contact them via phone, in-portal messages from last 7 days for few queries but nobody is responding at call. When I called them on customer service, some lady picked up said we are very busy someone will call you in an hour but as usual nobody calls you. I tried this few times. If somebody knows how to reach to their management please let me know. I am very frustrated with them. I will not recommend to anyone. Please look for other options.

They are in the habit of fooling people. They have been absconding post stealing stimulus checks money from me and are not responding anymore. Please be aware of these people! Even here in a public forum, their priority desk says, they will try to resolve issues in next 24 hours, but no one follows up or calls to discuss the issue. This is fraud company.

I have provided all the documents and made the payment. They are not providing any update on the filing status. Their CSR is not reachable on the number provided, they have something called escalation and they take any action and they don't revert back. This is pathetic.

After the payment #AOTAX do not care, no local office in USA. Still struggling to reach them to help in the audit case where they promised FREE After tax Services. You are correct. Their customer service, as well as auditing service, is very poor. After filling with AOTAX, I got an IRS Notice for expired ITIN of my daughter. They are not able to provide proper service and I have to pay an additional $50 to H&R Block to handle my IRS Notice. VERY VERY POOR SERVICE.

Our tax return was filed separately on federal return even after constantly telling the AOTAX people to file it jointly. We lost return money because of that and we are not even getting the COVID relief as well. It's ridiculous! I asked them for the tax return copy multiple times but never got it. Old drafts were filed for the state tax returns and there was no proper communication between the employees dealing with our return. An amendment needs to be filed for that but we have received no proper communication on that from AOTAX. We even received an IRS notice because of this. We are taking care of the notice ourselves because we can't expect anything from this useless tax services company. There were so many issues with the drafts - like address was wrong, my SSN replaced with my wife's SSN, and whenever we called or messaged for a resolution, someone new came on and screwed up our return. These guys wasted our time and energy - we could have done a better job ourselves.
