I was ready to "cut the cord" with Time Warner, especially with the last price increase. But I was skeptical that an antenna could work.
After viewing several websites, reading testimonials, and then having several (3) phone conversations with customer service at Antenna Deals, I decided to move forward. They walked me through exactly what the connections would be. So I purchased the Lava HD8008 Omni as well as the PROKIT.
It arrived in a few days. I got out the big ladder, bought some plastic clips and stainless steel screws, disconnected Time Warner, mounted the J pole, mounted the antenna, attached the cable to my splitter, and my wife started the TV set-up. Within minutes we had 48 HD stations, including the local channel to watch my CLE Browns lose game # 12. But the clarity was pristine. So thank you Antenna Deals! I will be calling Time Warner to cancel tonight!
I received the antenna and installed. Since this is the 2nd unit I've bought, installation was fairly easy. I now receive 52 channels in HD. For the money, this is by far the best antenna I've ever owned.
I was very happy with the antenna that I ordered from Antenna Deals. The price was right and I received it in a couple of days. The Omni Pro HD-8008 works great for an outside antenna. I live South of Houston, Texas and I can pick up 96 channels.

Ordered the HD8008. It shipped the day I ordered it and delivered without any issues. Once installed it has performed great. I am very pleased with this product and will recommend it to all my friends and family. This antenna will pay for itself the first month without a Dish Network bill.
I got the item right on time. Unfortunately I'm in a position to where I can't use an outdoor antenna. If I could use it I would have kept it and hooked it up. But maybe one day I'll buy an outdoor antenna when I own my own place. But it was packaged well it look like it was built pretty decently. It was wrapped well so it looks nice and I'm sure it really would work well. Send fortunate that I couldn't use it but I'm sure someone else can and I'm sure that this is a great item to have

My father. Was very happy with results but over 2 weeks ago my father's quit turning and he losses reception off and on sometimes days at a time. I have tried for nearly 3 wks leaving numerous messages for help. I just keep getting messages to leave a message and someone will return my call. No one will get back with me. It is supposed to be guaranteed for 2 yrs, we've only had it 5 months. My Dad is 84 and can't crawl up a ladder and now my husband has cancer and also unable too. Has anyone else had difficulty reaching them? I tried every number and email available, no response! Are they still in business? Except for this, we were happy with the product but if it doesn't work and was guaranteed and no help available it's no good. Should I contact the BBB or the Attorney General? Thank you for any help!

I purchased the LAVA HD8008 Omni-directional antenna and am very satisfied with, the speed of delivery, ease of installing and hooking up the antenna and most of all no adjusting for direction as it receives from all directions at the same time. I can watch a station from one direction and the wife can watch a channel from a different direction at the same time. No conflicts. I ran channel setup on each of our tv's and we are receiving 35 HD channels now and before with other antennas we got maybe 16 channels.

Our old antenna wasn't working and we didn't know what was wrong so we borrowed my brother in laws his is the lava hd2605 ultra it worked great so we bought one man o man it worked great very well pleased
Antenna arrived quickly, easy to install and works great. It's just as they described. Just may have to buy another since we're using it indoors and we have TV's upstairs as well! AS for AntennaDeals... well, they offered a 10% discount to be credited back to credit card and that never happened and they won't answer phone or return calls or respond to emails. So if we buy another antenna, it will probably be through another retailer. Since they won't answer phones or emails they probably wouldn't be much good if there's a problem. Inexcusably rude behavior.
I purchased an antenna from this company that was damaged when it arrived. They asked me to send it back and pay for the shipping. I should not have to pay for shipping on an item that was damaged when I received it. I finally broke down and sent it back after several correspondences with the BBB and still have not received my refund. I will never do business with this company again and I advise no one to do business with this company
We ordered the HD8008 antenna and the DVR converter. When we put it up and it didn't work. Called the tech and he said that it had to be hooked up a different way. Hooked it up the way he said and it worked. Get 11 channels.
My antenna works really well. I catch over 26 channels, and if I scan the channels on my TV, I catch more. There is nothing wrong with my antenna, and I have an older TV in my room with a boost box, so I catch more channels.
I hung mine on my curtain rod until I can get it outside and I can finally watch tv. I couldn't even get local channels and now I can. I can't wait to get it on my roof I should be able to get a lot more.
It's great not to pay shipping the antenna looks great putting it up today if rain stops I like the four points to receive channels the one I had I have to turn all the time to get channels thanks do much can't wait
When I received the Lava HD2605 antenna with rotator motor and amplifier the remote for the rotator motor was defective from the start. One of the contacts for the batteries was completely missing. When I tried to install the antenna it would freeze up at the limits of the rotation travel and I would have to get up on the ladder to free it up before it would move again. As of this point in time I have sent two emails, left a voice mail on their 800 # and tried to call another number I found listed to them with no response, not even a voice mail on that number. I would like to get a refund as per their 60 day satisfaction guarantee clearly posted on their website but I guess if you never respond to your customers you don't have to give refunds. Unless I hear from them relatively soon I plan to talk to law enforcement to see if there is any thing I can do in that realm.
This antenna was advertised as a outdoor antenna. I had tried the best indoor antenna from Walmart but to no avail. A customer said I needed to go to Antenadeals.com and was i surprised. I purchased a LAVA HD 8008 outdoor antenna and it came as promised. It was to cold to go out and put it on the roof so i made a makeshift mount by my window and eight channels came in clearly and this was compared to the one intermittent signaled channel i got with Walmart's best indoor antenna. I can't wait for it to warm up so I can set it on the roof. I expected over thirty channels... DEA
Fedex smartpost est. Delivery date was 11 days and i was not happy about that; however, it arrived in 6 days so that was okay on shipping. The great part is the antenna will pick up waff out of huntsville and it is the only one of 3 ota antennas i tried that would do this. I am pleased...
Thanks again. Easy to install and works great! I didnt get as many channels as listed as possible, but I am in a rual area and i mounted it in my attic instead of on a tower/long pole. Nicely packaged and easy to set up.
