This site sucks! They always post the WRONG answers, so i recommend you all to AVOID Answers.com, because at first i thought this site (Answers.com) was cool but, then i had an exam i had 2 answers wrong so i decided to go there, then they posted wrong because i knew that i was right so i checked my book and got the correct answer, so AVOID going there.
Answers.com is the worst kind of junk web site on the internet, with the exception of sites promoting terrorism, I suppose, although still. Tough call. Just how anyone could imagine that annoying the heck out of every. Single. Visitor to the site, guaranteeing that every person goes away screaming profanity to their god and pulling their hair out, is a good business strategy, I can't imagine. I understand making money on ads is their primary reason they exist, but surely there must be a limit. Surely they could design a reasonably user-friendly site with ads, which allowed users to read the information they came for, while seeing maybe 50,000 ads in 3 minutes, as opposed to 5 billion ads in 3 minutes, where ads did not cover up the actual content you're trying to read, and where all ads could be quickly closed if they were obtrusive. Alas, such is not the case I guess. This site is a disgrace. It is an eyesore. It bogs down your CPU, and practically crashes you're computer if you linger more than a few minutes. It's such a shame too, because earlier incarnations of this site, such as FAQ-Farm, were so fun to use, and earned legions of loyal users. I hope someone from Answers.com is reading these comments and sees the error of their ways.
Some of the headlines sound interesting but the site is so bogged down with ads that it takes forever to load the articles. Horrible format and design.
I entered and never returned - not from ads nor hanging but from a virus that sent my system into Pink-Screen (Not Blue Screen) death. See you in court, answers.com. And thanks sitejabber.com.
When I see a link, I don't even follow it. The design is unbelievably bad. The concept worse. I sure hope no one got paid to work on this. A high school kid could have done a much better job.
Get rid of the overlapping "Starbucks" commercials, it so distracting to hear three"Starbucks" Commercials out of sequence with each other.:-( I'd like to see your site just go away!
Very poorly designed site - slow with a ton of useless videos which play automatically.
Double click needed where a single click should do and reloads for no reason.
Worst website ever to load. The articles appear worthy but they do not load. Yahoo should take it down until it is made more user friendly. I don't even do there anymore. Fix it or delete it!
I remember years ago, this site use to be well-crowdsourced for answers. Now it is more click-bait with nothing substantive. Just use Yahoo! Answers instead.
This website has nothing to do with answer or helping people it just a clickbait to lure to click on their ads
NEGATIVE 300 stars out of five for pop-ups, worthless, outdated, or erroneous information, clickbait, and ABSOLUTELY NO way to communicate with the webmaster (or anyone ELSE involved with the business) with a complaint. Answers.com is a HUGE waster of time, with NO references, NO communication option, and NO ACCOUNTABILITY.
Stay AWAY.
Every Negative Adjective - Every Negative WORD, ever Created and/or CONCIEVED Can and SHOULD Be Applied to this Site!
Browser Freezing, Extreme Difficulty Trying to Leave the Site, Adds that MUST be Opened to Continue using the Site and a Whole Lot of other EXTREMELY OBNOXIOUS Problems.
I Wish I could Choose to Leave a Negative Number on the Rating Scale.
WARNING: DON'T GO THERE!
This site is full of great information. They have well thought out and scientifically valid answers to common questions. They refer to experts. I trust the advice and articles on this site.
This site is way too laggy and makes you wastes time with slides to view answers. My computer crashed after I opened up a link to this site.
It's all about the clicks... the more you click, the more they make! Really? That many clicks on one part of that subject? And, suddenly it freezes up? Avoid this site at ALL costs...
As I said, Answers is an ad site, nothing more. Most of the stuff they have listed is just to get you to search their site. All they have is ADs. Period. Just a junk way of selling ad space.
answers.com really sucks, I was 11 yrs old trying to load Answers.com and now I am 48 yrs old and it still loading... OMG please don't renew their website when it expire
I paid $40 to get a useless two sentence answer. I honestly think the answer came from a bot... god I am pissed!
Your website is awful! I can't look at anything in a timely manner. Your website has some interesting topics but your website is horrible, awful, the worst.
Answer: Same I dint get an awnser
Answer: The content is meaningless fluff, so don't worry about reading any articles from Answers.com as their site has anything but answers. It's a clicklbait site designed to draw the curious in and lock their computers so they stare at the ads waiting indeterminable amounts of time for the next slide to load. Stay away, it's a trap.
