Wonderful to be notified about $35 dresses and the biggest sale the following day... Very unhappy that customer service could not edit, cancel, or honor simple price adjustments (or do anything really) within 24 hours. I was told my only option was to refuse the 8 day shipped items (which I had to pay $8.99 for even though the order was about $159). I was told the only manager would say what the rep. Was saying, that the stores could not help, and I could send an e-mail if I wanted to offer feedback to the corporate offices. Honestly terrible experience and I hope I like the overpriced, non-returnable, slowly shipped dresses...
Generally the clothes are well made. I hope ATs quality doesnt dip, as it sometimes does. I always look for chic clothes, elegant but with a bit of flare. Perfect for a professional.
My recommendation to AT: maintain quality and workmanship. Dont slip. You were better 10 years ago.
I very rarely take the time to complain publicly about my experience but this one is worthwhile.
I have ordered merchandise from anntaylor.com on many occasions and every time I have received an email confirming that my order was received and is being processed. However, on all occasions, several ( up to four) days later I have received additional emails indicating that some of the items on my order are no longer available and I will not be receiving them at all! How can this be happening? How can it be that when you purchase products online from anntaylor.com you don't know if you are actually going to get it?
Worse Ann Taylor store ever! Woodlands, Texas location. Managers fighting whole time I was there. Do you know how bad this look I ask both of them? One manager walk away and the other manager a black women who trust me shouldn't even be working there kept gong on complaining to me how the schedule was not right. I told here I was just there to order a dress for a 4th of July party. She had no intend to help me but calmed it must be nice not to work. This black women who needs to retire or something was dress like she was homeless and her appearance was very dirty, Not Ann Taylor best. Why would Ann Taylor hire such dirty people. The other manager a Mexican women wore close so tight could could see stuff that shouldn't be shown. Both women unprofessional and dress terrible. What is happening to this place. Will not shop there anymore. I received terrible service and left without ordering a dress. ANN TAYLOR has gone down hill fast! Done with Ann Taylor!
I stopped shopping at Ann Taylor when they switched to synthetics instead of natural materials. However, the quality of their merchandise has improved over the last couple of years and it is nice that everything is machine washable although I still treasure all the silk dresses I purchased in the past. What I like most about Ann Taylor is that nearly all of their clothes are available in petite sizes.
I always enjoy the ease of online shopping and the quality of Ann Taylor apparel. They have amazing clothes for women of high quality and they always match well!
I have been purchasing products here for many months now, and I love the their quaint dress and gowns
I purchased some clothes online in July. One of the dresses was not a great fit and I didn't realize it for a few weeks since I had purchased it for a future event. By the time I could get to the store to return it, it had been 5 weeks since my purchase. I had my receipt. Ann Taylor did NOT refund my full amount paid even though I had a receipt. I understand receiving credit after 30 days, but not the full amount? Even though I had a receipt? I received about 60% of what I paid as credit. I consider this stealing and is unacceptable in my experience. I will not shop at Ann Taylor again.
I love Ann Taylor clothing. It's quality and online shopping is way more productive than in-store shopping here in Little Rock, AR. For petites. They simply don't have enough to my liking. They've even told me to go online A. T. for a better selection of petites.
The store is nice, and the staff has always been courteous and helpful. Love online best. Good sales.
So first I get a pop up ad that says additional 40% off. But when I go to the site, not everything is additional. I find some items for my niece and cant find a way to add a gift message ( like so she would know its from Me). Chat on line to customer service and they advise unless you BUY a gift box, can not include message. Really? Decided not to order.
Anntaylor.com is a website where you can buy women's clothes, shoes, and accessories. The site is well organized and easy to navigate through. Their customer service is very competent. I had to contact them about an order and the issue was resolved in an effective and timely manner.
On Mother's Day I placed an order totalling over $600. A week later I was informed some items were no longer in stock and that the remaining items were being shipped. I was charged $422.53. I received someone else's order totaling $120.76. I have contact Ann Taylor on numerous occasions and no one contacts me back. I want my MONEY and do not recommend this business to others.
*******
I started shopping on this site in 2014 and really liked what I bought. I purchased different items from clothes to hair products. The quality is great and prices are reasonable.
I do find I spend more money on sites Than going to the malls etc. But since I do not shop in larger cities any longer I still find the quality.
200$ billed, I returned the clothes, received no credit. Credit late fees charged to me. Three hours of phone calls, I neglected to make a copy of receipt that I put in with returned clothes. This company is a scam. I have avoided getting store credit cards for decades and got sucked in to this one. Huge regret.
I tried to order a sherpa jacket that was on clearance for $64.? I tried several times to place the order which would not go through due to website issues. Nobody was available on their live chat. When I reloaded the website the price had changed to $109.? With a banner that said an additional 50% would be taken off at checkout. Every page through the process contained the banner. I expected when I checked out an additional 50% would be deducted. It never deducted the 50% and I was charged $109.? For a non-returnable or exchangeable jacket. When I tried to discuss this with 3 different live chat agents I was told the coat was originally $259.00 so the $109.? Was 50% off. The $259 was crossed off in both scenarios. The words and the price $64.? And $109.? Were clearly written. Additional 50% off at checkout indicate an additional amount will be taken off, not that you are seeing the final amount. Each time I brought this fact up the chat magically disappeared. Really dishonest and deceptive practices!
The picture is tonight's website. It shows a totally different price and a similar banner to what I saw.
Let's face it, is it worth an extra $200-$600... just to have the Ann Taylor name on a tag in the neck of your clothes? Most people cut the back of the neck tags out because it irritates the neck! Hard working people can't afford the clothes you want them to buy. I will say this, as we go through the Goodwill stores where AnnTaylor clothes have been marked down to $5.99 that's the only way most people will own a AnnTaylor.
I placed an order on Ann Taylor and forgot to include a unit number of the address. I called immediately and was told there was nothing they could do to help me. I asked to speak to a supervisor and was put on hold and then told there was no supervisor. She then hung up on me. I am a prolific on-line shopper and had been a loyal Ann Taylor customer. That will be my last purchase with them.
Ann Taylor received my return on 4/27 and I was told it would take receiving 2-3 weeks to process. Currently my Ann Taylor credit card is gaining interest on those items returned. Terrible return process this should be reviewed and improved!
I used to love the clothes, but be careful if you need to return something. I wore a pair of cotton pants once, washed according to the instructions and they came out looking shabby. The local store in Stamford, CT refused to take them back. I had to return at a cost of $7.95 through the mail. The local manager was rude - she actually said that she couldn't take them back because she couldn't resell them - no joke, the pants are defective, why is reselling a condition of returns? I will never buy from Ann Taylor again.
Also - I wrote this review of the pants I bought and Ann Taylor has not posted it!
I have been an Ann Taylor customer for 40 years! I worked at one of their stores in Natick at the age of 19. I always loved their quality, style, and customer service. However, over the past decade their quality has decreased and their customer service is appalling. They no longer stand by their products and gift cards can only be used at a store, not online. Worse is that I purchased my adult children clothes for Christmas and 3 out of 12 items needed to be returned. Ten days after Christmas and they refuse to reimburse me for the amount I paid, since it was more then 45 days ago. I ordered the clothes in the middle of November. I am closing my account and will shop at a store that has customers' satisfaction at a higher value. Ann Taylor would only offer me the current sale price for these items.
Answer: Look elsewhere. Your wedding is way too important to take a chance.
