Gents, I have been on this site for over a year now.

I also have been to Ukraine and date some the girls that I found on Anastasia. I am not saying that all are real, and aren't "robots" or even men chatting on the site, but those that I met were real and the same as presented on the site. Some I saw before on camera. Just be careful to chat with girls that don't have camera! They, yes can be somebody else!

Well, just sharing my experience. I date some there. I have exchanged e-mails with some. Two I am still in contact from time to time on e-mail (and surprisingly even on VK)! If the girls are nice and interested, they will communicate with you in anyway outside the expensive Anastasia.com, but few would do it: 98% will communicate just through Anastasia and I "wonder" why!?

One of them, that I dated on 2 full weekends, after we exchanged few e-mails on my return, just stopped communicating with me outside the site. She just do unless through Anastasia, and surprisingly, without camera!? I gave to her a tablet exactly because of that and still today she "doesn't have camera"? "poor internet connection", "Anastasia has a better translation"!? She is also on VK, so why she doesn't talk to me there, but just through the site?

This is a bloody expensive site! Unless you find a nice girl, the girls there are to take your money, have free meals, free champagne, free gifts and that's it!

What I suggest to do: find on Anastasia and then go to VK. Most of them are on VK. I haven't found all, but many. See if they correspond with you over there (or Skype, e-mail, whatever) as much they would through the site. See how they react. Are they looking for you, "love", or money? They say that they could be in trouble because they can just communicate through the site!?!? How Anastasia staff would know if you are communicating with them on VK? IF you are chatting with them on Anastasia, ask them if they would communicate with you outside the site. See how they react.

Other thing: is forbidden to exchange personal info (such as e-mails), but not "friend's" emails. One of them gave to me her friend's e-mail and we were put in contact! I was looking for accommodation in Odessa and her friend hires holiday apartments there and we were in contact, legally, outside Anastasia site!

Since I came back from Odessa, September last year, I haven't spent one single coin on this site anymore!

People could find their wives/girlfriends/partners there, which I respect, but these are "one in a million".

The bottom line is: the girls that aren't there for money and interested in you they will find a way to communicate with you (and respect you and your money)! The girls that are there because of your money they will find all excuses to make you stick you to this site!

Stay away from this site.

Guys stay away from here. Was led to believe by Aliona Pavalache ******* was a good girl. Until I met her. She is bipolar and an awful person. Turns out she was/is a scammer! The employees I befriended at The LeoGrand hotel in Chisinau told me she is a simple prostitute. Not saying all there are bad, but why chance it! She is.
A very nice person in the chat room, but another when you meet her... she keeps her distance so it is easier for her to pull her scam. She has other prostitute to pose as interpertors and family members to make her seem legit but she isbt?

You never know until you try. I can tell you how this site is bad or good but you'll never know. There are real girls and scammers, just as everywhere else, reality or online. You never can be sure what you would get before actually trying it. I signed up and year ago. There are the ups and downs during that year but overall Anastasiadate has given me an extraordinary experiences and that's an up. My life would be different, and in a bad way, if I hadn't tried.

I was somewhat sceptical about this site having read reviews etc, but I took the plunge and focused on one woman, and went to Kiev half expecting her not to turn up, but she did! I would say watch what you spend on the site, but my experience proves that not all the women here are scammers.

After reading some of the reviews here, I have to agree that the automatic emails and chat lines are somewhat suspicious, but I looked past them when I signed up. 1) Overall, the site is "legitimate." They are in the business to make money so they sponsor trips to their countries; the women are encouraged to chat"chat" since they and AD make good money from this. Their phone rates are very high as are their gifts and other services.

2) Most of the women are legit; some are not. Some of the most beautiful pics are fake. They are included to attract men to chat or join. These women will not write letters, and they keep repeating the same trite "messages" over and over again in their chat invitations.

3) There are many very nice and legit women on the site. It will take much time and money to discover which ones they are... but it is doable. And there are some incredibly lovely and nice women on this site. There are some prostitutes on the site, but you can tell who they are from their lurid chat invites (come-ons).

4) The staff seems courteous and quite efficient. They just need to do more verification of their female members.

5) What with the current (August 2014) hostility between Russia and Ukraine, this no doubt will and should have a great effect on AD's operations and how you interact with their women.

I write this and I expect you will do what you want as you're probably in throes of lust for some hot model. I can not say for certain that all of women on here are illegitimate, but I have used this site off and on since 2005 and I have never found what I'm looking for. In this day and age there are plenty of free dating sites that have real profiles of foreign women. Those women will beg to Skype you, which, for the those of you who might be a bit slow, is free video chat!

The reason I post this today is there was a woman who sent me four letters before I ever responded. I guess this site will let the women know if we, the men, have read their letters.
