The odds are stacked against you on Anastasiadate because it works on a scam-based "business" model. It's a chat-oriented site, it pays comission to local affiliates, so it attracts many scammers, both women and men who want to suck in your hard earned money. The woman (or whoever it is you are chatting with) is paid by the local affiliates. If you really pursue a serious relationship, you should join a meeting-oriented site, i. E. http://j4love.net
They also have chat and video chat but they operate on a different model and therefore their girls are more serious about the meeting. When I was in Ukraine I signed up there and met two women. It didn't take me long to find the women who were willing to meet which was a big surprise for me as I got used to all kinds of excuses of Anastasiadate's girls as to why they were not able to meet me next month. Now I understand the real reason.

100% Scam. Such an incredible amount of money you are giving to Women and their Husbands who are conning you into communicating with them, as the website pays the women on their site a % commission for every transaction they produce. It's as simple as that, emotional prostitution. 95% of all the websites dealing with Ukrainian, Russian, Asian, Latin American, Eastern European dating between foreign men and the women of those various nations operates on this business model. However, I assure you, if you have all that money to waste on the website, you have enough money to save up for a trip to wherever your going, and so long as you're not a porn addicted pig of a man looking for a sex vacation there are fabulous Women (not on any site) who will gravitate to you. However, be aware, even when you are there, scams are afoot. I used to live in Kiev and I had a wonderful relationship, but no relationships are perfect, even if the women looks so good you think you could eat her. Russian and Ukrainian women are quite severe because of the environment they have lived, the stringent and deeply self-policing culture of strict adherence to tradition and social norms, as well as the fact men and women in these former Soviet nations are hard drinking, physically aggressive, and mentally strategic in everything they do. Be assured a Russian or Ukrainian woman knows how to wage intellectual war on a man if she is offended, humiliated, or even if she just gets the wrong end of the stick in communication. If they come to believe a certain thing about you, by no fault of your own except a misunderstanding, you will pay for the rest of your life. These are generalizations, but they are generally true. So get your head out of your $#*! and quit wondering if you're paying for nothing, you ARE paying for nothing and the person/people on the other end are 95% likely to be running some kind of scam on you. And it's 100% true the women on Anastasiadate and many many other websites get paid a % for the amount of money they manage to suck in, all measured by the people who run the site, and the majority of the money going to 'virtual pimps' who recruit the women to these sites. And the women are easy pickings. They live in abject poverty despite the fact they speak 2-4 languages, have 1-4 degrees, and now live in a war torn country. They ARE more intelligent, and more attractive than 99% of the women in North America by simple virtue they adhere to ancient principals of family structure, marriage, monogamy, etc. However, you can imagine their sense of entitlement to a better life, and their vulnerability to rational that might give them that, when it comes to using their God given assets to make an extra buck, and all they have to do is sit at home and chat with me. And remember, unless a woman is appearing on Video chat, she is most likely a man pretending to be a woman to get your money. And if it is a real woman she is on the Video chat to make more money for herself than through all that tedious emailing of letters back and forth. Get it? It's a total Scam. So if going there and getting a wife is that attractive to you, you'll have to go there, you'll have to get comfortable with their culture, their customs, and you'll have to live by them in strict accord if you want to keep peace between the sheets with a born and bred Ukrainian woman. I $#*! you not!

I was scammed twice on this site and have lost over 10 grand to its early days of fraudulent activities, ie 2000s to probably only a couple years ago. I did meet one of the women I wrote to on the site but she had read none of my letters and was hired by a dating agency to go on the one date with the man, then never show again, aided by an interpreter. The other, just never showed, kept making excuses on Anastasia. The worst was not the money, big loss, over 10 grand, but the waste of time writing to fakes, and the day in jail was bad too, when I accidentally trespassed a Russian navalbase, and they were leniant to drop charges. I hear it has changed now and has less fakes still I don't trust them.

Much would depend on whether the woman's profile was created and placed online by one of the hundreds of unregulated 'Affiliates' out there, for example these unregulated Affiliates use the software of a company based in Cherkassy, who launched a website in 2015 named 'admin panel' http://www.adminpanel.com.ua
This is just one example how appointed 'affiliates' throughout Ukraine access the opportunity to open their own profitable business to earn huge amounts of money through access to around 12 or more online marriage and dating agencies. Anastasia date (Svadba) signed up to this company as have Jump4love, Romance compass, Foreignladies, Hanuma, CharmDate, Zolushka, AFA (loveme.com), Find-Bride, Bridge of Love, Dream-Marriage and Dreamonelove.
There are no guarantees or warranties whatsoever in the unregulated business of dating and marriage agencies. This is a huge industry where Ukrainians who are in in the business of photography, the hiring of studios, hair-stylists. Make-up artists, language interpreters, models, model agencies, affiliates, marriage and dating agencies earn many millions of dollars each year, all paid for in full by thousands men who sign up to a service that sucks in their hard earned dollars faster than a vacuum cleaner to receive and write letters, chat and video different women whose only interest is to earn money.
You may be lucky to find a 'gem' amongst them, but the odds are stacked against anyone being successful.

I can tell you that the woman I met was the same that was in her photo. The issue is that with all the hype about being in love with you and wanting to spend their time with you, it does not work out that way. If you decide to meet, make sure you stay at a hotel with someone speaks your language, have a way to get around. I felt very used and duped. Do not let them make your arrangements for you. They are there to make money off of you and most have not intentions of leaving. Like I have stated before it is more of emotional prostitution because believe me there is very little romance once you are there.

I actually met the person to whom I was talking. We wrote letters at first, then a phone call, and then Skyped. 3 months of video calling and off to Russia I went. She was exactly the person I was communicating with on Skype. We have been married now for 5 years. Thanks

Yes you will and their is a chance you can build attraction for their. If fact they are required to take a picture to prove you did meet a requirement made by Anastasia date. But in my experience and others, in the letters it seems this person says they are so excited to meet and really into you the person in person seems anoyed they had to meet you and I believe the girl is schooled on you laters before the date and the translater puts together cut and paste questions for her to ask. Other than that Ukrainian women tent to be vary negation, synicale. And easily angered.

I was with Anastasia before it changed hands and is now "Anastasia date". Ten years or more ago it was a good place to find Russian Women as there were very few Scammers or Gold Diggers. Maybe 10%. Now it is about 90% scammers, total opposite. It was good because for $4 you would get a letter translated and sent to the woman. I corresponded with several very good looking honest women and went to Russia and dated one. Did not work out but that was no reflection on Anastasia. Now for all you idiots that think stunningly beautiful women from any country let alone Russia want anything to do with you, well you deserve to lose your money. Women in all countries stay within their age group of about 10 years each way. They DO NOT want old men 20 or 30 years older. I am an exception as my wife from Russia is 17 years younger. There are exceptions but rare. You need a lot of money and youth to get these models. If you are an ordinary working stiff making under $50,000 you have no chance landing these extraordinary beautiful women. Most of them are not real anyway. The photo's are real but they are not. They do not even read your profiles. They only want to get paid to communicate with you. How f***ing dumb are you. If it is too good to be true then it probably is. If she is real she will ask you about your family and tell you about hers in first or second letter and she will not say sh*t like I am looking for man for rest of life and second half and she had heart broken and want you to save her from life situations. She will act normal and letters from Anastasia Date are not normal. I am 63 yrs old and get 30 letters or more a day from 18 to 30 year old gorgeous women. If you get a letter from a women who is old enough to be your daughter and she thinks you are what she is looking for then go ahead and live in LA LA Land. If her photo"s are provocative and stunning and it looks like she had professional make up then she is a scammer. Most Russian women do not have the money for a professional photographer and make up artist. Real Russian women are very intelligent and have standards like American women. If she writes to you and she is young and beautiful and out of your league here then she is out of your league there. There are many nice women in Russia looking for husbands but they look like the women here just not as fat and obese. You will not find fat women there because they care how they look and will not go out in public without makeup. Do not write to more than two or three if your serious and if they talk about marriage sooner rather than later then it it a scam. Talk to them on messenger or Skype for a long time and then you know if they are serious. They will never talk about money. They are looking for husbands not money. Ok one more time you dummies, if they are beautiful they are scammers. If they are out of your league then they are scammers. If they are on Anastasia Date they are scammers.

The profiles of real girls, and the girl will usually meet with you. But the translator she brings on the date is most likely the person that was running the account that you were chatting and writing letters with. After three platonic dates, the girl will always have an excuse to leave town. But she will want to continue writing with you after you get back home. This is the formula used by most of the scammers.

My experience is that on the best sites only about 30 or 40% of the profiles are real. AnastasiaDate is NOT one of the best sites. In fact, stay away from all of the pay to text sites. Hundreds of young attractive women sending masses of e-mails trying to get men to respond? That isn't the way dating works anywhere! It is a sure sign of a scam. On real dating sites men generally outnumber the women. The attractive women get dozens of messages from men each day and the men few if any, regardless of how attractive their profile is. In fact, the best way to cut down on the number of scammers is to go to a free dating site and make the first move. On one free site the messages from girls making the first move turned out to be over 80% scammers. Of the women I contacted and they responded the scammer count was down around 30%. On the pay for sites you have no control. Virtually all the profiles are from agencies and scamming you, and men get so many messages from women most don't spend much time looking for a girl, so the sincere girls are practically forced to make the first move as well to get any responses. It is totally assbackwards!

I agree with whoever suggested just going to the Ukraine and attending a few parties and clubs. Nothing beats face to face and while there are scams going on you are much less likely to get scammed by a girl you meet through normal channels, establish a meaningful relationship and get married. It will also be much cheaper than paying a middleman like anastasiadate, that is charging ridiculous rates for cheap services and peddling sketchy profiles from agencies only looking to make a buck.

There are many ladies who sincerely want to find a foreign man. Age difference is important. The bigger the age difference the more lightly the lady is not really interested. However if you are in your 40's you can find a lady in her 20's without difficulty. Depending on your age add 10 years to each of the above to have the best chance. You will meet the lady you have been chatting with.

There is a process. First I would write her and tell here everything there is to tell her and that means do not lie. I have sent flowers with a camera man years ago and the girl was fat. Dump 1. You should arrange a telephone call. If you lie to her and you go there do not expect to spend time with her. Several countries have waived visas so she can come to you. That is my preference. This is not a poor man's dreamers game. If you do not have the money to play lock yourself in the bathroom with her picture. These are attractive women. Your friends and other guys will hit on her. They touch up the photos but they are attractive. You can go there and meet 100 women at a party. They want out and age is not that important but it is not totally ignored. There was 40 years between myself and my wife. So if your going to go bring your wallet and do not try to impress with money unless you can keep it for the rest of your life.

Ok if you are chatting more than likely not the lady. The woman I went to Ukraine to see said she did not do chat because she was a beginner but I always got the box saying she wanted to chat. Write emails it's your best bet. I also speak some Ukrainian and Russian which helps and if you speak these languages don't let them know because if you go see her they always insist on an interpreter so when they talk among themselves you will know what they're saying and they won't have a clue.

You might do, but beware.

Like someone on here said, they steal photos from sites like VK.com.

I had a message from a woman. I later found her on VK. When I contacted her, she said that she was in a relationship with a local man and hadnt been on Anastasia for months.
She was surprised when I told her about the message from her to me the day before...

Do you due diligence. But I fear that you might end up spending a lot of money. And if you do marry a woman from any of these countries, you WILL be expected to look after all of her family and send money to them on a regular basis.

Many of these people think that ALL Westerners are rich with money to burn. And dont forget about the cultural differences
