I signed up for free trial but they insist on 29.99 PayPal so I gave them info and was charged. I cancelled and no refund forthcoming so I called and am getting a refund but was told the refund is never automatic. That is called fraud.

Tonight I made a great ecard for the grandkids about quarantine and staying connected, I scheduled it to send tomorrow, and it got lost AGAIN somehow. Very frustrating, make a card and it never saved, it happens often.
Read below a review I did last year on Google.
Extremely disappointing company, great Ecards, my grandchildren especially love when I send them talking cards. However, the most disappointing is when your schedule ecard to be sent on a holiday, like valentines day, thanksgiving etc. American Greetings usually can not deliver the card, or if you are sending out 5 cards only 2 or 3 get delivered that holiday. It's extremely disappointing and very upsetting, especially a Valentines card you sent for your daughter that she never gets.
I paid my fee and attempted to send a card. Was told I had to change my password so I did. Then was cut out and told could not send card. Two weeks later I attempted again. Same thing... new PW, then cut out. Tried third time and it was the same. I gave up.
Received email for renewal. It stated I sent four cards which I had not. I wrote and said to cancel and I should be refunded. Help answered that they did not tell me I sent four ecards as my account showed I sent none.
I do not like being called a liar. I sent the email to them where they stated I had sent four ecards.
I placed an order on September 9 for some party decorations for a birthday on the 21st. The shipping time said 2-5 business days, so I had plenty of time still. I got an email later that day saying that it had shipped. I checked the site and the order was listed as fulfilled and the tracking said that a label was created and USPS was waiting for the package. About a week later, I still did not receive the package. I checked again and the shipping status had not changed, USPS was still waiting to receive the package. I notified them using the form on their site. The next day, since I needed it very soon, I called. After 56 minutes on hold, a representative looked into it and said she had to contact someone in Kentucky. SInce the person was not getting her back to her quickly, she took my number and said I would get a call later that day. That was Friday, the 18th. I filled out their contact form again adding the information about the call. Today, the 21st, is the birthday the decorations were for. Complete silence from American Greetings. I will never order from them again. I cannot attach a photo, since I did not receive the item. My order confirmation gives personal information, and that is my proof of purchase.
EMail cards are great, but try to understand how to print one requires a college degree. Impossible for seniors.
I am feeling scammed. I did a trial membership but am not able to speak with anyone to cancel it no matter what number I call.
I have no complaint about the subscription service used for ecards.
When wishing to terminate the service, I couldn't find a way to de-subscribe. Despite a through and time consuming search of the site, I could not find an "unsubscribe" icon or a postal office address to send a letter. Buried several pages deep in the site, I found an 800 phone number... but it was no longer in service.
A call to my credit card company that I had originally authorized American Greetings to charge eventually yielded a different 800 phone number for American Greetings. The new 800 number was only provided after I threatened the to terminate the credit card if they could not help me. (Apparently, because I authorized Am. Greetings to charge my card, American Greetings are the only ones that can terminate the charge to my account.)
Good eventual outcome. The new 800 number enabled me, through appropriate prompts and information entries, to terminate the subscription. A confirming email was received from American Greetings.
Using the new 800 number I was unable to reach live person to express my dissatisfaction with the lack of an easier way to terminate the account.
Trying to cancel... being charged $60 per year! Hate this card company now. How can i stop all the charging of my credit card? Be warned.
I just got ripped off for 30. I will never again use an auto renew feature for any service and I will never again buy another AG product. If you want to send the very best go to Hallmark. Make sure you cancel your account the moment you can so that you don't get charged as I just got a snotty letter from someone that took well over a week to get back to me for her to tell me that AG will not be refunding me for something I haven't used in a year because it's against their policy. I can't afford to throw out 30 right now due to the wretched economic climate. I feel cheated.
