We've been working with Americaneagle.com for a while now and we really appreciate them as a partner. They're very responsive, have a great team spirit, have a lot of experience, are always willing to help and they are just very nice people to work with.

We aimed to relaunch our website with some updated features and looks to bring us into the modern world of online retail. They built us a much better looking site with significantly more functionality. We gained backend access and control that we lacked with our previous setup, and AE provided us with the training to continue to build upon and improve our site within house.

For anything that's a bit more complicated, we still use American Eagle to build out or edit new features or applications within the system. They are a pleasure to work with, completely based in the US, and were able to navigate each roadblock along the way.

Whenever we encountered something problematic, they offered multiple ways to solve each issue, and were conscious of our overall budget along the way. I can't recommend these guys enough, especially in today's world of overpromising and under-delivering. AE stands out and delivers the product in a timely and efficient manner.

We had to work with the project team recently to redo the layout and graphics on our site, and it was often a frustrating experience. Communication wasn't great, and I didn't feel like the team put a lot of effort into what they were doing. I hope they make some much needed improvements to that team soon, because the people who work with our account deserve 5 stars.

From the beginning we felt like we had a team working on our site and not just a sales rep. They kept us on deadlines so the project could be completed on time. Through all of that, I have discovered a few that place integrity above all else. When you find such a provider, you make them your partner. American Eagle is one of those partners. I am not saying that they are without fault. I am sharing that they will own their mistakes. Be that as it may, they have made very few in our years with them.

To add, the level of professionalism that I have experienced from our first meeting has been top notch. Their processes and deliverables are executed with expertise. Our website has industry leading functionality and allows us to compete on a much larger level. I rest better trusting that they are concerned about our website stability and growth.

After a year long search for a new eCommerce partner, we choose Americaneagle.com. That was more than 5 years ago and we are as excited today as we were then to have them as our commerce partner. The Americaneagle.com team is always responsive and great to work with. It's pretty simple, we would not have the site and success online that we have without them. To me... they were the best decision we could have made!

My company decided to start working with AE before I became involved, mainly, I believe, for the price. I wish they had chosen another company! Initial development took months longer than the estimate provided. Any time estimate they provide for any project is meaningless. Any hour estimate is basically meaningless too.

We have to babysit them so tasks aren't forgotten, manage how many tasks we give so they're not overwhelmed, double and triple check any changes they make so they don't mess up other parts of our website, etc. They break things with the changes they make, or implement fixes that only work on half of the pages it should. We have to review all their work to make sure it actually works as specified, and are constantly finding new issues.

Their CMS iDev is frustrating as well - the "help" icons literally do the opposite of help - it brings you to a new page and deletes all progress on what you were working on. If you're working in the content editor, it doesn't tell you that you've been logged out until you hit save - then it logs you out and all progress is lost. I have to warn all new employees what not to do, to save them frustration. There's no way to unpublish pages - only lock (password protect) or delete. Saving as a draft only works before the page is published - but it doesn't tell you that! If you try to save changes as a draft on a published page, it just exits the page editor without saving anything - you don't know there's no draft until you go to look for it again.

In short, unless you enjoying constant delays, frustration, and never-ending problems, don't hire AE.
