The blinds are terrific especially for the price. The screws have 8mm heads which is much better than phillips screws. Plus there is adhesive to hold the mounts in place while you drill and put in the screws. Very easy to install by yourself. I'll be back soon for the rest of the blinds I need to replace.

Wow! Had purchased the Coolina shades at a local home store but I was in need of a particular size. I found American and ordered it! So easy. So glad I found this site The shade fit perfectly! Could not be happier. Am ordering a shade for my bathroom next.

I had 5 tabs open and selected the same options from each place. American Blinds was the most cost effective.

The experience was pretty good but could be improved if the selection process for the color and type of shade didn't have such a vertical orientation. I frequently had to scroll way up and down the selections in order to note the type of cellular shade and color when making comparisons.

The shades' production was delayed, resulting in a fairly protracted delivery time. Definitely longer than I felt justified. If I recall correctly it was something on the order of a month between when the first shade was delivered and when the next two arrived.

During the ordering process I was told that the two angle top shades would be operable (they would raise and lower.) Once they arrived this proved to not be the case.

We like the shades but it was a bit of a project to get them and then to make them operate as they should.

Informative and easy to find what I need. I had purchased blinds a few years ago at a previous house, and decided to order some for our new house. It's easy to configure what you need and place your order on the website. I used scaffolding to install mine due to the height, and we now have afternoon shade on our patio.
