Horrible! Terrible customer service with Allstate and Allstate rewards. Redeemed a substantial amount of points, as well as a lot of money on gift cards I never received over 30 days later. Have called customer service multiple times only to be told someone will get back to me, but still waiting for that. Was told my gift cards still have not been sent, and have been unable to get a refund because again, nobody ever gets back to me. Finally filed a dispute with my credit card company. Don't waste your time, energy or money! It's a scam!

I noticed that items were showing up in "Closed Auctions" that never appeared when I looked at "Upcoming Auctions" or "Live Auctions" a couple days prior. I called Allstate and the rep explained that some of the auction items are "reserved" for those people who have lower point balances. So, as a customer with over 350,000 points, I am unable to bid on certain items that others with lower point balances are able to bid on.
Seems rather deceptive to me. Wonder if this shows up anywhere in there terms or disclosures.

This has happened twice in the past week - I go to bid on a points only auction, the auction time remaining is clicking down. Today, I bid on a gift card, clock showing 53 minutes left before close, and when I placed the bid I received the message "this auction is closed, bidding rejected" or something of that wording. I tried several times, different auctions, different days. The only thing I can figure is the closing is in another time zone? I don't get it. Happen to anyone else?

Worst rewards program I have ever participated in. For starters, I purchased L'Occitane Almond shower oil, when I received the package, the bottle was open and the product completely saturated the entire box along with my other mail. I also purchased a waterproof Bluetooth speaker but when I received it, it appeared to be used and wouldn't keep charge past 30 mins so it's more like defected/damaged. The Versace perfume I ordered for almost $12 was about the size of a big toe but I guess that was my mistake for not correctly reviewing the quantity in the description but even with that it seems like the program is out to scam its consumers. I thought I would've felt great about my orders but I have nothing but regret and disgust from this program. I wouldn't recommend to my worst enemy because even they don't deserve this amount of disappointment in their life.

No complaints
April 5, 2020

I have no complaints. The points add up quickly for doing something I do anyway--driving, and trying to drive safely. I won a $10 gift card the first time I tried an auction.

A waste of time!
May 22, 2017

Is it me? Or does it seem that in the last week or two, all of the "auction only" bids are now way over 200,000 or 300,000 points. I used to TRY to win things, but now the bids are sky-high and unreachable. I never won a thing, no matter how hard I tried. Another rip-off from Allstate.

They get ALL your driving info (location, speed, "hard stops" - everything), and you get... almost literally worthless points. Use them to bid on stuff, and don't get them back if you lose. Get 10 bucks off a purse. Even if you can use hundreds of thousands of points as for a free hotel stay, you STILL can only use SOME points and pay more than 50% of the stay yourself. This is NOT a rewards program. Steer clear.

Save 50% more than what they have listed on their website. Allstate is a scam, every product listed as DISCOUNTED using their points is WAY more than what is listed on other retailers websites. Allstate is trying to make money by selling stuffs with markup by disguising that its discounted for you. DONT GET FOOLED!
SOME PRODUCTS EVEN $50 MARKUP AFTER THEIR "DISCOUNT"!

Zero Stars!
January 12, 2022

This whole "rewards" program is a huge waste of time. The egiftcards that are a part of the daily deals are gone within seconds of being available. I'm thinking at this point, they're using bots. So I have all these points and they're basically unusable and have just been adding up for the past 3 years. But hey! I can definitely get 20% off a pizza order!

Avoid This Company
August 4, 2023

Allstaterewards is A huge waste of time. Don't even bother trying to redeem, because you have to spend more money just to redeem stuff. You can get free magazines, which nobody wants.

I've never seen a rewards program with no rewards. I currently have 42,000 points but there's no way to redeem them without signing up for a sweepstakes (no-one ever wins) or spending more money. For example, I can use 2500 points to save 20% off a purchase at a bookstore. Or I can use 900 points to get 50% off bowling at a bowling alley 30 miles away I'd never go to anyway. Then they offer free points but the site never works or it will say 'expired link' minutes after they've sent the email. Drivewise is great but this rewards program needs to go away.

Every auction they put out always has a highest bid that I can't imagine anybody would actually have THAT many points to put out there. Currently there is an auction for $1000. 00 gift card, the highest bid is over a million points. I've been in the rewards programs since it started, I have 67,000 points. How do you have over a million points? Can't be real.

It is not really a true reward site. Thousands of people bidding for the same item which is not even worth it. You probably can buy the daily deals Allstate Rewards offer for the same price and not having to use any points through ebay or craigslist. A true reward site will let you use points without having to pay 50% thru 90% out of pocket.

I used my points to purchase a $1000 gift card for a cruise, and no one knows when I will receive my card. Multiple phone calls, all the answer is nothing they can do about it. In the meantime, the cruise price went up and finally got sold out while waiting for a gift card. I am considering canceling my auto and home insurance coverage by Allstate.

I received an email stating I no longer have the option to select redemption options. Such as: a credit on policy, mail a check or to apply to Allstate Rewards option. They will only allow credit on Auto Policy which defeats the purpose of having the rewards program. I can pay my own Auto Insurance.

I have, for months tried to win some of these daily deals on Allstates rewards site. They clearly do not have anywhere near enough stock to meet the demand for some of these deals. Its so frustrating I'm about to just delete the app altogether... I did get a couple 100 dollar gift cards for 90 though.

Everyday I would get on for a daily deal, and never would be able to get one. For thousands of people there must be one or two daily deals. I find my time is more valuable than sitting down everyday at a certain time, and not being able to get a daily deal. This is really a poor app. I am lead to think it is only about tracking people in their cars. I called to find out about this app and was told there is nothing they can do about it.IT IS A WASTE OF TIME. If this is all Allstate has to offer customers. I want to apologize for them.

These rewards suck!
February 11, 2020

The rewards can't be purchased through the app on the phone and when I search on the laptop on the Allstate site it can't find the Daily Deals. THe rewards are mostly useless. THe good deals ($5 gift cards for popular companies) are gone in seconds. I have been trying for years and have never purchased one. All I can get is stupid magazines that have nothing but pages of ads.

Not true rewards program
September 21, 2021

You only can save anywhere from 10% to 30% on items. You can get the same items on sale on different sites for the same prices including the gift cards offered. They even did away with the daily deal which was the only good deal they had. There are no points only items. You must use cash to supplement the cost.

Since they introduced the max bidding feature where everyone can just put max bidding amount and wait for the auction to end... this caused the points only bids to sky rocket 10 folds typically... so now, 80k points I earned over the years is about worth $2 or so if I am lucky to win any auction. The problem is the flood of points allstate issues and not many items to bid on... so people with 100s of thousands points and don't know what to do with them will just bid everything they have of a lousy $10 gift card just get something out of it. Those of us who have less... well, our points now became completely worthless and this whole promotion is just a waste of time.
