Thank you for making this an easy, automatic process that I can rely on. Unlike with another well-known pet pharmacy, I can count on the day my cat receives her insulin prescription. Any potential delays eg the vet's approval is immediately communicated to me so I can ensure delivery when it's needed. The customer service folks are amazingly helpful and cheerful, which I also appreciate! Thanks go to a great team.
I paid for 2 day shipping for two prescriptions, after several inquiries I finally received one of them over a week later, no explanation as to why the second was missing although they had assured me both were on their way.
After several orders, we can honestly report significant Savings on our pet medications. The secret is to order early. While most orders arrive in a timely manner, sometimes delays occur because of communication between vet and Allivet, or other reasons.
You can place orders easily - but good luck getting in touch with their customer service team! Frequent hold times of 15+ minutes if you're lucky, and don't even bother emailing them, you'll never hear back. They don't follow instructions when it comes to contacting your vet for RX approval, which is very frustrating when you've taken the time to write out specific instructions. This leads to a ton of time wasted on your part to follow up with them and wait out their ridiculous call queues.
I've run into this issue several times over the past year when I've placed an RX order. Take your business elsewhere and save yourself the headache!
Have bought three prescriptions for my pet through Allivet because pricing was better than other sites and cheaper than buying from vet. UNTIL the auto-ship began... prices and shipping/handling both increased significantly without any notice from Allivet. They just charged my credit card with no notice of increase. When I called and tried to cancel the order they were filling (after using suspend on their website), I was (rudely) told that The only way I could get a refund was to refuse the already mailed package arrived. Buyer beware!
First and last time doing business with Allivet. Poor communication, many mistakes, poor customer service. They deleted orders in error; kept me on hold in excess of 15 minutes at a time. I won't make THIS mistake again.
Allivet is the WORST pet supply company! As others have noted, to get through on the phone is practically impossible. Their ship time is Very Slow. If you want something shipped from them, plan way ahead. Better yet, don't use them. I'm done.
I have not received my pet's medication for nearly two months, even though they were quick to charge my card. I have tried calling numerous times, but I was placed on hold for over twenty minutes each time.
I tried contacting them via email, with absolutely no answering. This is horrible service, especially if your pet requires medications. Please use your local vet as this site will not deliver your meds. I will be disputing the charges through my credit card company to get a refund. If anyone at allivet is reading this, my order number was SO-*******
I've used allivet for many years. No issues. Easy site and there's always a promo code. I have 5 dogs which at times can be stressful and expensive but Allivet takes a little of the stress off and saves me money. Website is easy. Shipping is quick enough. My vet prefers Allivet over other online pet pharmacies.
Allivet has been my dog's pharmacy for several years now. The prices are much lower than my regular vet, and that is why I go to them. They also keep me informed on renewing my prescriptions for certain meds., and reminders when I am close to needing them. If I ever had a problem with them, they always took care of it immediately.
Never have to worry about paying too much or for good service; get it right here.
The prices are already the lowest I have found, but I always find a coupon somewhere that makes it an even sweeter deal.
My first pet rx order had a huge discount which was fantastic! I continued to order from Allivet because the prices were comparable to other sites. When my cat died, I contacted them about an order that was just shipped and they kindly refunded my money. Great customer service.
I recently discovered Allivet by accident while internet-searching affordable ways to cover my dogs' pharmacy needs. I have an older Pug and a younger Pug, both of whom have special care needs. Allivet provides many of the products we use, plus options I didn't know about previously. The website is easy to use, with great filters. They have great prices and an easy-to-attain free shipping threshold. My products arrived very promptly. I will definitely continue shopping at Allivet.

She listened, repeated back what she understood, and promised to address the issue from Allivet's end. Not only does Allivet offer the lowest prices, it trains its employees to treat the customer with the respect due to the one paying for the products. I will return and order again. Never ordered meds before online, but needed ongoing meds at a cost-effective price. Always a good coupon available and love the free rewards program benefit. Shipping was quick. I learned they contacted my vet next day for script approval and I received the meds in a few days.
The pricing was fair in my perspective. However, the main attraction for me was the Paypal payment option. Unfortunately, after spending over 30 minutes pawing over the selections, pricing, creating an account, and checking out, I then find out that they have removed that Paypal payment option. I called customer service to verify, and was giving an apology, but it did not make up for the misleading information. I trust Paypal and use them all the time for online purchase. I do not appreciate the bait and trap tactics from any company.
On autoship and they are chargins me $100 instead of the $62 listed price on their website! Beware. You could be paying almost 2x the cost for autoship. So much for advertised cost savings! Called an they said the price went up; even though their website advertised the $62 price! Pathetic! You might save on first autoship; but watch out for the following price hikes!
A fantastic company with great prices, full inventory, wonderful custom service and an easy to navigate website. I, and my cat Bobby are so grateful to Allivet for making all of the products we need so readily available, and at the best prices available anywhere. Especially valuable is making our medical product needs easy to manage, so that Bobby can get the special care he needs to stay happy and healthy. Thank you Allivet for the great work that you do.
It seems like a lower budget website but the customer service is good and the prices are great as well. Shipping can cost more than the meds but they actually have the whole selection I need for my cat who has many health issues. Id rather pay to keep everything on one website so its somewhat organized.
Answer: They advertise medications with photos of the manufacturers' packaging. However it seems that when a customer gets the meds they are not in the original packaging. There is really no way to verify that the meds are either authentic (as opposed to counterfeit) or that they are not expired. Individual tablets are not stamped with dates. When they failed to send me medication in the manufacturer bottle, I contacted my credit card company, then ordered from a different vendor.
