No question, the prices are great. However, the service is horrible. Yes, there is a toll free number and the reps are nice enough but it is often difficult for the call to go thru. I am particularly bothered because the order I placed today required a credit card, which I understood and willingly provided, but the order process would not go thru unless the "save this card" was checked. I understand they need that for AutoShip items but nothing in my cart was AutoShip.
I particularly did not want my card saved because once in the past an item was shipped after I tried to cancel it and I was charged almost as much in shipping as the small item cost. Very disappointed but I had already invested so much time in putting together my order and comparing prices that I let it go thru. If I am later unable to remove it from my profile I'll have to tell the bank not to process any subsequent payment.

My experience was ridiculous and exasperating. The employees i spokle to were lazy- and useless. I needed ear drops that should have gone out yesterday but didn't. I realized they charged me a ridiculous amount to ship it what became clear to me as USPS regular mail which meant i wouldnt get the drops for at least a week. I needed them now, so i told them- to keep my shipping money and i would send a prepaid USPS priority mail label for them to slap over their label so that it would get here tomorrow or sat at the latest. They wouldnt do it. I mean how hard is it to take a label sent that is already paid for and slap it on the package. I've already paid for their shipping- so it didn't take money away from them. But even more infuriating was they refused to get me to a top level manager which is a HUGE red flag which questions whether they really are legitimate or not. Her flat out refusal to send me to someone who could acutally think for themselves and be proactive completely told me this company was not one to deal with. In my opnion, whoever is giving them 5 stars is most likely a family member or a requested post.

Horrible experience! I ordered some very important medicine for my puppy and 4 days later I didn`t hear anythig from allivet so I called them to see what`s going on. 3 times I was hanged up so every time I called back I needed to explain the same problem. They told me that one of my items was out of stock. They could ship me the rest and charge for shipping when I ordered 49 dollars of items and was qualified for free shipping. Don`t recommend to order from them. Completely unprofessional

Allivet has an easy website to place reorders. They will call your vet to confirm the prescription when expired. Shipping has always been seamless and the order is usually received within a week or less, including their time to call the vet. Out of approximately 9 orders, I received the wrong product only once (wrong sized needles).

I have been ordering from Allivet for over a year and a half now, my cat requires 2 shots of insulin per day. I live pretty close to their office and would pick up( to save $32 for cold shipping) and all of a sudden not allowed to pick up anymore. Now I pay $32 per month to ship 20 miles. Then, when you need a refill expect to wait several days! Once your vet sends back the approval NOW they say it takes 24 to 48 hours to process internally! Wtf... you are going to kill animals by doing this! You pay for a rush and it takes them 3-4 days to process! Oh and don't forget they don't cold ship on Friday, so...

I placed an order which required veterinary approval that I received in a timely fashion. The following 2 months Allivet sent me the same order and billed me for $304 each month. That is a total of $608 debited from my checking account without my permission. On 3 separate occasions customer service assured me I would receive a refund within 7 to 10 business days. My refund NEVER came. My initial transaction with them occurred in August. It is now the end of December. I would consider them a financial risk and would take my business elsewhere.
