I had a real problem with eBay concerning this same issue, and after complaining about it more than once, they finally corrected the problem. When I updated my email address, the form to update the email address did not update so it was not clear the update had occurred. I don't have access the old email address so if a confirmation was sent there I will never see it. I did not (as of about 10 minutes post update) receive an email at the new address.

Your website does not behave well at all. I kept going through and endless loop of not being able to log in or reset a password and ended up going to Amazon which I hate doing. I decided to close everything and give it one more go, and I still had problems but finally got to a checkout instead of a blank screen. I wasted a lot of time for a simple purchase. Not good.
