Tried to place a second order yesterday after sending as a gift to another address and it was impossible to figure out how to get the shipping address changed so I just gave up. It seems that after waiting till today to place order to my address the other shipping information finally cleared out so I could place my order.
So happy you have hard to find books! The shopping was a little frustrating as every time I had to step away from my computer during shopping I'd come back to empty cart and have to search for the books again. This happened three times. Other than that the checkout was easy.

I love Alibris. If you want to get a bunch of books, you can look at using the same book seller to cut down on shipping costs. That's what I try to do. They have all the books in a series I can't find in Albuquerque so this site is great!
I love this book site! I read a variety of books and was able to find a children's book that I had as a kid (many, many years ago) and it was in great shape.

I wanted multiple copies of a book. But sellers are allowed to list under several nearly identical names, offering only one book at a time at a given price. If one tries to order two books from the same seller the price is increased for every additional book purchased. Or one can pay for each book to be shipped from the same location but under different names as in HBR inc and HBR-emerald and HBR-ruby. This method of doing business is for the benefit of the seller and the buyer is left holding the bag (or two or 3 or 4). I can't condone this system and will only use this site if no one else has the book I want.
