It was going fine until I tried to check out. I was asked to sign in, but didn't have the correct password. After I reset it, when I returned to sign in, my cart was empty!... 7 items that had taken some time to find. Very disappointing.
Finding my books was easy... nicely categorized for 0-2 year olds, then board books.
I needed to update my zipcode. Took a while to find how to do that.

They are able to connect me to several independent book sellers, for books new and old. And I have never been disappointed with the quality of the books I buy...

Good price. Hope the book is in good condition. Site was easy to use and connection to paypal was perfect.
Excellent but placing items into wish cart after on the check out cart is confusing. Just deleted them instead. The other confusion is as you place items into cart, it is notated how much more you need until free shipping is applied. It never seems that you reach that limit.
The other issue is when I tried to utilize my $5 coupon for signing up, it the page was not accessible.

I could not order 2 of the same book. It said "book is already in your cart.' When I said that I wanted to change my order, (1 to 2) it deleted the item. I really hate to start over to buy 4 more books today. Checkout had no way to "continue shopping." I shop with you to avoid Amazon, but their site would be easier to use.

I love Alibris! It is my go-to book source. The shipping experience was great today, I found lots of choices for the books I was searching for, and i thought the prices were reasonable. I would be happier with more detailed descriptions of the condition of the books by the sellers. A lot of generic, rather vague phrases are used to describe the condition (sellers are probably too busy to write details), but these phrases are too vague and usually do not convey as much info on the condition as I would like.
