Easy to find lots of copies of the books I want. Would love to see better summaries/ratings and easier-to-find publication dates.
The site search is highly functional. Would really like to have the year of the books publication easily visible near the title so I don't have to flip back and forth to Amazon for that information. That information is really important to identifying history books that meet our needs.

VERY frustrating purchasing experience. I spent half the day loading up a cart, then went to checkout and decided to register an account here–and all the items in my cart disappeared! So I ended up purchasing only 2 books instead of 9–then when I placed the order, was charged sales tax in Oregon.

I love alibris because it allows me to target specific books and search used bookstores all over America to find the book I want. While I love browsing in a good used bookstore alibris is also a great way to find the books I'm looking for.

When I click the "change shipping address" button, I get a list of addresses, and then when I click "select," nothing happens. I finally had to use "add a new address," even though the address was already listed, in order to send a book where I wanted it to go.

For some reason the item I ordered wasn't actually available. I was glad to get the emil notice and found another just like it, so I ordered it. I guess I'm a bit disappointed but at least I'm not a student needing it for a class as of yesterday. This is a weird one off occasion I assume. Never had a bit of a problem before now.
