Go for verified gold suppliers with trade assurance on. Don't expect products that are exceptionally cheap to be quality. But if you're willing to wait, you can get incredible quality things at half the price of retail pretty easily.

Love the trade assurance approach. This is my first time ordering. Only took 3 day to go from china to usa. WOW! Vendor deserves highest rating. Great experience. Looking forward to doing many more orders.

Site is terrible, light years from Amazon. I'd give no stars if possible. I strongly recommend not to do any business with these people. It's a great business opportunity for competing with them as the service is needed and has market potential, and their standards are very low.

I suppose whenever you buy something from another country for the first time, especially one so far away you are always apprehensive. It was a very good experience and everything went smoothly. I will be using Alibaba again, in fact I have.

Sourcing is a complex thing, esp. When done online across continents. Using the platform makes it easier (still a lot of work) esp. Having all communication with the supplier in one place, incl. Order, quality assurance, shipment and payments.

Of course there are somethings that could be done better (like not opening new browser windows /tabs for almost all clicks) but thats the nature of such systems.

This company had great service and was willing to deal in smaller quantities at a good price. They organised the shipping and I received my shipment well ahead of schedule. Im very please with my product.

Everything is good except we dont have any human contact if something goes wrong. Because robot cant understand sometimes what I say. This sometimes frustrates. I had issue with my order not properly showing on system. Anyway later was automatically ok.

The product was packed extremely well for sea voyage, container load/unload and bumpy ride to destination. Price was fair considering tariffs. Light assembly still in progress. Will report on quality next description.

I ordered a several hundred piece lot for my business. Shipment tracking was nonexistent and seller's customer service sucked. Their emails did not make sense. Boxes arrived dirty, wet, and crushed. Returns and refunds through Alibaba don't exist. I don't get why anyone would order from this site.

During 2 of my our transactions this past few months we ran into 2 different problems. The staff at Alibaba was very helpful in directing us where and how to try and resolve these issues. Both were resolved with all parties being satisfied.

Buying on Alibaba is always an awesome experience and piece of mind especially with trade assurance order.

However shipping rates should be mentioned on the listings to avoid overcharging by some suppliers.

I ordered an paid for a folding bike, 145 USD.
It never arrived, Alibaba said that they had paid the supplier, so I've lost my money.
Also ordered car seat covers, shorts, small things like that. All turned out to be complete cheap rubbish, much better to see what you buy.
I would never use them again.
Given one star, hardly worth even that.

Pleasantly surprised. Excellent platform. Very capable suppliers. Intelligent hardworking and willing to resolve any ongoing issues to retain a good working relationship with their client.
