-and last but not least but the most worst ALEKS.COM this is the most $#*!ed up thing humanity has created so i don't know why and how it was thought of but it was so these are all my opinions on what we have done because honestly it is a never ending parade of failures and $#*! ups and how dare you make us deal with it.

Aleks Is not Good for people. 1. It Took me over 1 hour to complete this course and that is not right. 2. The videos are supposed to "help you". Well no they dont and 3. Now I have no confidence in my ability to do math because of Aleks

This site is garbage it doesn't actually help you. Your better off making a full court shot than get 100% on your knowledge check. Whoever created this needs to take this down. Your better off learning from a math teacher than do this. I bet freaking hitler did all those $#*! because of this site. If you are a teacher or principle trying to do Alex's. Don't. It's a waste of your time and your students will wanna leave your school

I am currently taking a college algebra for calculus course. The least amount of topics in one week I've had to learn is 20 and it takes up all my time. It takes me a minimum of two full days just to finish one chapter, which does not include the chapter quiz, review, or test. This platform is draining and incredibly discouraging. I use to actually enjoy math and thought I was decent at it until taking it through ALEKS. It makes you feel stupid and I'm appalled that professors and teachers are still using this for their students. I have taken online math since my sophomore year of high school and this is by far the worst platform I have used. Now I will most likely have to retake this class which will put me out 1000$ and put me behind a semester. If you're struggling through your course on ALEKS, you are not stupid and you are not alone.

Okay, so. As a student who has been using ALEKS for around 2 years now, I've heard many bad things about it from my peers. Just happy to know it's not only me.

'ALEKS is life-changing'. That phrase is one I've seen on the cover of the website. And I have to agree... just not in the way they said. ALEKS is a no-good piece of poop. It doesn't help our learning (all we have to do is solve 2 problems to "learn" a topic), and it makes a lot of people stressed out. Everyone in my school has to use it and I'm assuming many of the students agree.

Me and my friends have for the past year and a half, conducted a project dedicated to finding all of ALEKS weak spots. We have also found reasons it's out to kill us...

Don't use ALEKS. It's bad for you.

This website is a confirmed cause of terminal cancer. I have never had an actual violent bone in my body, but thanks to ALEKS, I now want to hunt down the p***s-licking psychopath that created this damn website and put an IV of arsenic into their bloodstream. If you actually think using this website is beneficial or helpful to student learning, you're probably also the person that thinks it's okay to fill baby bottles with antifreeze and watch your babies drink that! Dying of AIDS is more enjoyable. Avoid this trash at all costs!

This goddamn program forces you to take an additional 1-2 questions every time you get one wrong. If you constantly make errors, or make a microscopic mistake, ALEKS gives you the stupid "Try Again" message, leaving you in an endless loop of existential dread, unfiltered anger, hardcore depression, and sheer hopelessness. I've met people who have genuinely considered hanging themselves because of ALEKS' absolutely sadistic system. This site is essentially like a slaughterhouse for students' ambitions and patience. To the teachers: if you consider using this program and still knowing it's utter garbage, every student of yours is well within their moral obligation to beat the living $#*! out of you.

ALEKS is a "learning tool" that somehow gets you to not learn, but throw away old information you already had. Oh, you're almost done with that set course and you got one question wrong? Back to the beginning, bucko. Don't understand this set course of questions? Who cares? Heres this set of hastily scribbled notes that you can try to understand, but you probably won't. Overall not a recommended website. If you are going to be teaching a class, avoid ALEKS as a website.

ALEKs is the program for my Gen Chem I homework and this site is so disappointing! It takes hours to complete topics due to it 'erasing' your progress if you get one wrong answer, regardless if you understand the topic. And the most frustrating part, is the random knowledge checks that test you on everything you covered. If you dont master a topic on the test you loose all of your progress. These tests take roughly 2 hours to complete by the way. Absolutely terrible format for any class. The only thing ALEKs achieves is frustration and wasted time.

I would greatly appreciate whoever updates this site to stop subtracting points from the bracket you need to move on to the next topic. It frustrates me beyond belief--just because I get something wrong does not necessarily mean I do not understand the concept as a whole. I just want to move on through my objectives easily without being stuck on one for hours on end (because that has happened.) Also, add more detail into the answers explanation because I feel as if ALEKS tries to trick us in order to be stuck on a topic for longer. It does not explain how or way it got the answer as it did, and it just confuses me more. Thank you.

This program is probably one of the worst I've ever used in my time. It only gets you so far until it basically just shoves it right in your face and expects you to complete something that you've never practiced. If you are looking for a mathematics program, please avoid this one. It stresses me out and always expects you to do perfect.

I am a student at a prestigious school. The Aleks program has given me the wrong calculations in the most straightforward 7th-grade topic, absolute value. It said that the answer of absolute value was a negative number. (Absolute value is always positive) This misleading information has made me struggle in mathematics. I suggest re-checking the answers to help other students succeed. At all costs DO NOT get this program for any school or learning.

This website promotes self harm because once you get one question wrong it makes lose progress and sometimes you just have to start the whole exercise over again because of that and it will infuriate people after a while and while working on unreasonably long units that seem to never end it will cause you to spend hours working on math instead of doing work for other classes or doing something productive, and it causes you to lose your mind.
