I have had 2 deliveries from Aldi in Midwest City. After they substituted some items and cancelled some items there were still items that I paid for but did not get. No more deliveries from them for me.
Any time we buy milk from Aldi, the milk is spoiled before the expiration date. We bought one gallon of Milk 2%fat from Aldi on May 19,2022, and open it on May 20. The expiration time was May 31 but it is spoiled on May 23.
Aldi is my first, but not only, place to grocery shop. I always try to go there first because while they have a more limited selection, the prices and quality of what they do have are great. They have an awesome selection of plant based products lately. The only downside is the limited selection but what they do have is fantastic!
I love Aldi's! What an amazing store and employees.
The freshness of their food is incredible and an amazing value too.
Example - 8lb Standing Prime Rib Roast - $63.84 I have paid local Butchers over $125 for 4-5lbs and they are nowhere near as tender and flavorful as Aldi's.
Their employees are very helpful and kind. I wonder why do small companies like this do so well and the big guys can't get things right?
Checking to see if anyone else has this problem. I buy an extra half gallon of non-fat milk from Aldi's occasionally when I think I might not want to go out before the current bottle (plastic) is empty. I've never had non-fat milk go bad and Aldi's is no exception. However, I don't always have room on the door for the bottle to be stored upright, so have placed it horizontally on one of the shelves. The last two times I did that, the unopened bottle leaked! I couldn't believe it but tested it and true, it leaks! How can that be - I dunno - legal? Doesn't it mean the milk is not sealed from contaminants that originate from the outside of the bottle? I haven't taken the issue up with the store yet, but I'm sure all the store does is unpack a crate and put the bottles in the fridges. Is there an Aldi's webpage to post this problem on?
Every time I go to Aldi to get vegetables I hardly find any. Even the one that's on their weekly ads. Looks like they have very very limited stock which last couple of hours. Very disappointing and infact I feel like they are fooling customers to vist them with their false weekly ads.
I used to like their Roth Moser chocolates until I read they contain a huge amount of cadmium - see this from Reddit -
Aldi Dark Chocolate - CR Heavy Metals Study
Mos Roth 85% DC is 1.6 micrograms of lead & 9.0 cadmium. Both too high!
So as always. Soon as I go in Aldi I always get a Box (Not A Lot Of Food) so I go to check out the Man THROW ALL MY FOOD OUT THE BOX. I was really piss off. Not one Cashier Ever did that They swipe it and put it back in the box nice like I had it. But some NEW GUY throw my food in it's really sad to have some one work there like that. I will never shop there again along as he's there. Need better people. This was today 3/8/2024 at 1:20
First of all I didn't know I needed a quarter to get a cart fortunately someone left the quarter in their cart so I didn't have to worry about that. I had no change. Secondly I didn't know that I needed to bring my own bags so obviously I had to buy two of their bags. I don't think I'd go there again. I didn't care for the variety of items and I didn't care for that they only had one person checking you out and there was a line so it's just an inconvenient store. I didn't find any deals. I didn't care for the chocolate chip cookies they did not taste good at all. I left the quarter in the car to the next person.
I want to rave about Aldi's Delivery Service. It was fantastic! Wonderful service with a friendly awesome person, Marry, in Tulsa. I will use it again and again! It was easy and earlier delivery than stated. I appreciate it so much!
I walk in Aldi in Woodstock Ga and was a little lost on a few items. Then a sweet lady came by name Ms. Christine banks help me out. She was able to show me the missing items that I needed and show me a few new things that I have not seen yet. She was able to walk me up and check me out.
First you have to pay.25 to get a cart, then the prices are ridiculous, this is one store we could've did without then we have to buy a bag and sack our own groceries to put the groceries in the bag ….
So I went to aldi with my son. I have been going to aldi for years and they just opened up one is woodlen. The first day I went there I was checking out and my son was waiting for me he decided to sit on like the shelf that people can bag their food on and right when he sat down someone was wiping the wall and spoke into their walkie talkie and then 2 people came over to my son as well as the manger my son is only 4 and did not know any better as soon as they came over he started crying and sobbing. They started asking him questions and then asked who is mother was and he pointed to me. SO then I walk over because my son is crying and they start talking to me asking me questions like did I adopt him did he ever show aggression toward me like what the *******@ck. He is only 4 so then they said they need to see if he was actually my child like he just sat down you could have asked him not to sit on their so yeah Never go there good products but the people are horrible and mean.
I worked here for about 6 months and it was the worst experience i have ever had. The big boss was sexist and the store manager was very rude and ignortant. She often belittled people every day and made people cry. Always super understaffed and never hiring new people to fill the void. Only good thing about the place is the food. The workers are treated like children and terribley at that.
Yesterday I went shopping at Aldi's as I normally do for the last 30 years at 8 Mile Rd Ferndale. When I was in a long line, I was getting to be close to being waited on, a new cashier came and took all the people behind me and opened up a new register. Every time she finished a customer she would smile at me since she did not take me and I had to wait while she took care of 5 different customers. This was uncalled for and unfair. Maybe she did it on purpose maybe she did not, as an employee representing Aldi and seeing what she did she could have acknowledged it and apologized if she was any kind of a decent human being. Just saying. I will repost this tomorrow with pictures and proof of purchase.
The price on the shelf is not always reliable. They charge a higher price at check out. Example, green grapes is marked $. 95 on the shelf. They charged me $2.48 at check out. This happened twice in a row.
I had a small issue on Saturday 11th June, that needed me to return an umbrella (outdoor). I was so pleased with the friendly atmosphere and urgency that my issue was dealt with, that I just had to leave a review on the management of the store.
Thank you so lunch for having the lady (don't know her name) in charge of our Cullman store, she works so hard for her customers.
Yours Sincerely M. Tatler
I was recently shopping at the ALDI store in Worcester, Massachusetts and there were a lot of items I couldn't find. When I asked for help, the man was rude and was obviously irritated by me asking if they were out of stock on some items. This is unacceptable and unnecessary. They do carry a lot of good items, but service is unacceptable.
Aldi is turning to my one stop grocory shopping but it does not have halal meat. I would highly suggest to bring halal meat spically for larger cities. Overall, prices are low and amazing but the produce seems to be low quality
Many say stay away from the chips but I find them to be just fine.
Here are the things I buy without question.
Butter, cheese, baking goods, dairy, eggs, bacon, breads, cookies, ice cream, seafood, fresh and frozed veggies, calzone fresh, fresh pizza and chicken. When on sale lamb. Also I really enjoy Aldi's as a whole.
I avoid frozen brekfast foods and corn dogs, some frozen meat items (check price per oz) frozen pizza(the fresh is great) salad dressings and box meals.
The chocolate is good and I forgot the frozen turkey breast, hams and aldi finds are all great too.
On line shopping is easy to do well done by employees and I have used and use it too.
