2 years ago I bought a replacement lamp for my sony projector, everything was fine, product worked great.
Earlier this month, I ordered another replacement, received shipment notification, but the product never actually shipped. Based on all the other reviews here from other people, I think this company has gone down or something. No big deal, these jokers get to speak with Bank of America's fraud department now, the money will be back in my account momentarily.
What a shame considering how good my first experience was.
My husband and I were having some trouble with our TV and needed to purchase a replacement projection lamp. We google searched the tv lamp model and found Advanced Lamps was the best site to purchase from in terms of price and shipping options. They shipped our order the same day and the product received within a week. Their follow up service was also excellent and we will be buying from them again.
This is my first experience with this company and I'm hoping the Product works and last for at least a year. The Sony Lamps are very expensive-- taking a chance using this company. Their advertisement states a Genuine Sony Projection Lamp. I am waiting to see just how trustworthy Advance Lamp company claims. No one actually reviewed the quality of the product...
Ordered Projector lamp. Received tracking. Waited. Nothing. Tried leaving voice messages and emails, since they wont answer the phone number Listed!. No response. Can't rate a product they don't even manufacture. Nor would I. They are just the middleman. STAY AWAY from them. BBB of Connecticut shows them to be F rating. Filed complaint with BBB. Company states they sent a refund. Haven't seen it yet on credit card statement. Just a charge back pending. They are Unreliable, yet will immediately take your payments without a way to contact them.
Keeping it short! Purchased lamp online. Two phone calls (not returned), and two emails (no response) made to Advanced Lamps. 2 1/2 weeks later order placed by Advanced Lamps to ship lamp.

Excellent is one word I would use to explain my Advanced Lamps experience. The transaction went so smooth I will not use anyone else for my electronics needs. They have so much stuff on the site I bought the lamp I needed as well as a video scaler. Great prices and an awesome all around selection.
I am writing as I have still not received a credit for my order that I cancelled a week ago. The time frame to pull the funds out was almost immediate, but I did not receive any confirmation email that said my order had been processed or that it was on back order. After 2 weeks, I logged back into the site to see that my order was on back order, and proceeded to call and spoke with someone that said it should be shipped within a few days. Again I waited (over a week), no product and no follow up from company. At that point, Super Bowl was over, my order was cancelled and now am awaiting refund. Still no human contact. I will be reviewing your company on line after I submit this. This email will be part of post as well as suggestions that this organization is not consumer friendly. If my refund is not processed with 3 business days, I will seek damages.
I have ordered a tv projector replacement lamp. They replied that it was out of stock. I asked them to cancel my order. They said that they will refund me in the next 5 business days. I ordered the lamp from an other supplier, received it and installed it. A month and a half later, they did not yet refund me but they shipped me a lamp that was supposed to be canceled. I try to reach them but I am still waiting for an answer that will never come. Do not do business with this company.
I should have done more research before throwing my money away. The site looks very trusting with all kinds of product and good prices. I ordered a replacement bulb for my Sony TV. Advertised as new, I was sent a used, bent, non-working bulb. No response from phone call or email. Buyer beware, DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY.
Ordered, paid, received confirmation. +7 days called, emailed, & contacted via their website, no response. +16 days called, emailed, contacted via their website, cancelled order. Ordered from another company (+3 days received). Contacted Better Business Bureau. Contacted bank, requested refund, received credit. Trying to reinstate the charge, Advanced Lamps sent the bank "information provided to the customer": "temporary back order", and the merchandise was to be shipped (69 days after ordering!?). I never received the email or merchandise. I needed one Theater Light bulb for a 4th of July party. I wouldn't keep, nor do I need another to keep on the shelf. +108 days, if I had waited for Advanced Lamps, I still be without television.
I bought a video scaler from Advanced Lamps and the experience was great. A friendly customer service agent helped me checkout over the phone. It was a speedy and secure delivery, and I got it at a great low price. The entire process ran smoothly and I would use them again in a heartbeat.
Order a bulb for my TV. Bulb lasted a couple months. It had a 6 month warranty.
Contacted company they said send it back and they would replace it. Never did recieve replacement.
I emailed and called. Still waiting after three weeks. Tv Is useless without bulb, had to just buy a new one.
Would stay away from ths company. Buyer beware.

My big screen Toshiba television bulb exploded during the NHL playoffs a few weeks ago. This indeed was a terrible and unexpected situation, I googled some sites and after comparing prices I ended up going with Advanced Lamps. I found the TB25-LMP I needed and placed an order. The whole ordeal was very simple, and prices were very reasonable. The television is now back up and running for the Stanley Cup finals. Go Kings!
Are you serious?! I ordered a replacement bulb for my Casio slim projector, what I received was a a used POS bulb for I'm guessing (with research) a DLP IN1501. I have been trying to reach them, but get directed to a voicemail? What the heck is going on with these guys? They had no problem instantly charging me, but not picking up the phone or returning my voicemails is absurd to me.
On top of the great price, Advanced Lamps also provided awesome customer service. Everyone I talked with was very helpful when I had any questions. Both over the phone and email when they were quick in getting me an answer, and followed up and make sure everything was alright. Great notification system for shipping with a tracking number, we will be buying from them again.
I wanted to thank this company very much for their assistance in helping us reset the lamp timer. We could not figure out why this brand new lamp was not coming on. We did exactly what the customer service rep said to do and it worked! Thanks again. You guys are awesome.
They were just fantastic, I gave them a call when my TV lamp went out and the customer service girl was so nice n helped me with everything I needed. I am very thankful to have found such a great site to now get my lamps from.
Bought a lamp from Advanced lamps and when it got here the television still seemed to not be working. I called the returns department at advanced lamps customer service and they walked me through the troubleshooting steps. The representative waited patiently as I went through each step. Finally after ten minutes the television was working perfectly. Awesome job by there CSR in assisting me in getting the Lamp lit.
Site claims 99% of orders placed before 3pm ship same day. I paid extra for 2nd day shipping on Monday just after 12 noon and got email confirmation w/ status "processing". Wed. No delivery. Thur morning I call the company and am told it will ship tomorrow, FRIDAY, and not arrive until first of the following week.
Worthless site/company.

Ordered a Lamp for my projection TV the second time
My credit card was charged
Then I was informed that the part was back-ordered for a month
Waited one month
I called and had the order cancelled
I was informed that the refund would be forwarded to the finance dept. and that the refund would occur within 5-7 business days
It's been a month now and NO refund!
I have called and only get voice mail.
This company has gone downhill and is now just SCAMMING people.
I will personally pursue this matter to the bitter end!
We need to take this company to task and get what's ours.
BE WARNED TO STAY WAY FROM THIS COMPANY IN THE FUTURE!
