Birthday Gift

I ordered the canonT7 and a 50 mm lens for my daughters birthday. Its her first camera. It will come in handy for her Journalism. It was delivered in a timely matter. Price was good.

It all made it

In general, I am pleased.

The good:
1) The lens is excellent, and appears to have accurate focus. Memory cards (additional purchase) came with the lens, and are as described.

2) Perks seem generally decent: Software downloaded fine with the codes provided, though will take a little time to assess their functionality. The cleaning kit seems functional. The flexible sun visor seems functional.

A couple not perfect elements:
1) They didn't mail it to the requested shipping address; I requested an alternate one because I wouldn't be home when it would arrive. I had to make an extra trip to collect it. Still, it made it into my hands, and that is what it boils down to.

2) Although they put together a free accessory package (nice perk), why would Adorama include a case for a lens that isn't anywhere adequate to carry the lens it is packaged with (see attached pic)? It is WAY to narrow to fit the Tamron15-30. It is a decent case for maybe a 100mm prime lens (without the removeable sleeve).

The important parts made it here safely, and that is what counts.

I made an order 2 months ago with the amount of $318.97, the shipment took 1 month to reach my country and other 2 weeks held by the customs, I contacted the carrier company and Adorma themselves dozens of time with no decent replay, finally the carrier company after 2 other weeks update the tracking information and says (Unable to deliver shipment, returned to shipper.
Recommended action: No action is required. The package is being returned to the shipper.)
I contacted FEDEX asking why? They replied (the customs refused the shipment and there was no fees and nothing paid) although I contacted my local custom office and he said we didn't refused any shipment!
However, after a dozen of emails between me and Adorma with no results, only a robot replay each time, they said the shipment returned and you have to pay a total of $439.76 including import fees!
Why? Because you refused to receive the shipment (the shipment I didn't even received)!

And FEDEX says no fees was paid?! So how Adorma said I have to pay?!

The worst online experience ever
I highly recommend to avoid this store
No customer service, you're totally speaking to yourself
Working with the worst carrier company ever
And above all that, they are a bunch of THIEVES!

I didn't get my shipment nor my money and yet I have to pay extra amount of money!

No Delivery Will Not Give Refund
August 15, 2022

I waited for 12 days for a delivery Of a a TTArtisan 11mm f/2.8 Full Frame Fisheye Lens. Adorama is 75 miles from my house. The last tracking update was Aug 9 with no indication where it was. I called up and ask for a refund "NO" Adorama has to put in a request to USPS to find the package another 10 day wait. So I ordered the lens Aug 3rd now I have to wait until Aug 25 then I am afraid they are going to come up with some other reason or wait period. Meanwhile I have to pay my credit card for a lens I do not have. I remember only a few years ago If I put in an order by 4 pm I would have the package in Philli the next morning via UPS. Now they seem to come up with another way called SUREPOST - UPS to Philli then dropped off at the post office then? Thats a bad idea. We all now how bad the Post office is right now.

Horrible!

Arrived quickly

The Casio PX160 bundle arrived quickly. The box the stand in was ripped, but everything was in perfect condition. The piano works great and the price was the lowest I could find.

Packaging Bad

Fluid inside the box and outside the box manual was soaked in fluids and CD was no good But the printer was wrapped in plastic so it was okay, not sure if it was them or the delivery truck.

I was on hold for about 15 minutes before I could speak with a representative. When I finally got him on the phone, I explained my situation. I ordered two separate items. One was on back order indefinitely, and the second item was in stock. Because of the indefinite backordered item, the second item had not been shipped (I've waited over a week at this point). This shipping policy was not stated at the time I ordered said products. When I discussed this with the representative, the representative made excuses and explained Adorama's shipping policies to me instead of working towards finding a solution. I'd already wasted 15 minutes on hold, I don't need to waste more time listening to excuses as to why things are the way they are. When I expressed my frustration with the representative and tried to start working towards finding a solution, the representative muted his end of the call without warning. I stayed on the line for an additional 5 minutes for the representative to come back. The representative then hung up the phone. I had to call back again and wait another 15 minutes on hold prior to speaking with another representative that could solve my problem.

Why would a company hold on to a product that a customer had ordered because a second item is indefinitely on backorder? Wouldn't it create a better customer experience to get the customer products as soon as possible? If you're looking to purchase products online, go elsewhere. Adorama customer support is pretty awful and their policies do not serve the customer. Take your business to a company that serves the customer better.

I called with a HUGE issue. The product I ordered for a shoot, was malfunctioning and not work. So I called to get a new one, after being rudely talked to. I was finally told that they didn't have any more of the products I needed in stock. But could buy another product that cost $300 more dollars. Mind you I was going to lose $900.00+ if this product wasn't working for this shoot. I asked if I could get a discount on that other product. They basically said, no, and that all they can do is refund my money.

When you ONLY care about a buck and not your customer's, then you suck as a business. Your customers and customer care should come first.

I had to call them to even see if they received my return after 8days of hearing nothing. The person on the phone rudely told me I just needed to be patient, because and I quote "Listen you'll get your email only after we are ready to send it to you, and give you a refund" WHO THE HECK SAYS THAT TO A CUSTOMER!

My company will NEVER be using them again. B&H or amazon for the win.
