Took a couple days to ship but understandable considering the covid-19 lockdowns. Once it shipped it was here super fast and customer service was great in answering my questions.
Adorama is a great place and team of people. I've been their customer for some time already and have always been treated very well and happy with yo purchases.
I have made many purchases with Adorama through Amazon, on their website, and in the NY store. In all cases I have been pleasantly surprised by the speed and quality of the process. Shipping time is exceptionally quick and cheap (NOTE - I live in NY city so that may have been a factor). They are well stocked and well priced.
If you see an offering through Amazon, always check Adorama's website as well since pricing and shipping costs are sometimes less than you would pay through Amazon.
They also have some amazing buys if you purchase more than one of an item. There will usually be a little message to this effect on the item's page.
For those interested in the B&M store: The store is relatively small so it helps if you know the item model # or SKU that you need in advance as not all merchandise is on display. However a very friendly sales rep helped me search the website from the store's computer. Once we found the item it was sent up from the stock room in less than a minute. He even pulled other items that I didn't even want to purchase just so I would be able to compare.
The in-store service reflects positively on the company as a whole and compliments my experience on the website (and through Amazon). Highly recommended.
If I could rate this company a negative number I would give it a -8. In a nutshell, I ordered one thing, THEY sent me the wrong part and even though I have voice recordings of multiple company employees telling me they would send me the part I ordered once I send back the WRONG PART THEY SENT ME, they now have multiple "Customer Service Specialist' (what a joke) contacting me via email basically telling me they're not going to send me the Christmas gift I ordered. Stay as far away from this company as possible. I have an appointment next week to meet with our local consumer reporter and she's going to help me spread the truth about Adorama Camera and their business model of lies and deception. As the owner of a business consulting firm I'm fortunate to have a wide array of media consultant we are willing to help me spread the word across this great country that Adorama Camera is a business to avoid at ALL cost!
Got a great deal on a top of the line 2018 model. What's more to say! Paid a few dollars extra for the next tier up in delivery and it showed up faster.
WARNING, WARNING! Very sorry to say that I ordered over $10,000 worth of photography equipment from Adorama's eBay Store front and they refused to issue reward points. Polly P. (Adorama Customer Service) stated the their Adorama eBay Store was a third party, not eligible for any reward points from the Company. Not a good way to treat their costumers to say the least!
More than just a let down I feel ripped off 2020 and times are hard so when a non-working self-employed business owner pays $318 for a product for an upcoming gig only yo not get the item and a poor cs reply and more days of just waiting even with a refund now the item is sold out everyplace and no it, not the USPS this is an item that just never made it out their warehouse
So I placed an order on April 18th(mon) by the 19th I had requested a cancelation as the product wouldn't arrive in time. I was told this was not possible as my product was "at the loading dock". I reached out two days later when it still hadn't shipped only to be told it hadn't shipped because they "don't work during passover"(started the 15th). Okay. That's their prerogative. However if they don't work during passover and my order was placed on the 18th, then they blatantly lied about it being on the loading dock to prevent me from canceling. I won't be ordering from this company ever again just on principle because if they lie to customers this easy for a buck I'm sure they're customer service knows no bottom.
On the Adorama side, I have no complaints. They do have the best prices and super fast delivery. Unfortunately, my MacBook came with some issues that I am still trying to resolve.

I bought a used 7D MKII and it came in decent shape except for the battery charger. One of the pins was bent and I had to bend it back with needle nose pliers. Still the best deal around though!
Don't buy from Adorama they are not the only store shop arround their retun policy sucks like their costumer service i bought a samsung laptop that took 7 days to get to my address the laptop sucks i had it for 3 days and i want it to be exchange for another laoptop more expensive i was willing to pay the difference and a restocking fee but they don't listen to you they keep telling me to contact samsung why? The laptop is not defective the thing is that it sucks and they keep saying to me that the policy is unbreakable i told them i don't want my money back i only want to exchage it for a better laptop but is like talking to a wall do not buy from them read all the bad reviews buy from best buy or even walmart don't make the same mistake i did check other stores with better policies.

I've bought both new and used equipment here and I've never been disappointed.If you're picky about appearance pay attention to their rating system on the used stuff.
Speakers were in one box not 2 so extremely heavy and hard to take out of the box. Not a very good cabinet looks like a cheap speaker from the outside.
I ordered a new NAS from Adorama and they delivered much faster than expected. It's brand new as specified and the experience was a great one. Would order from them again.
Worst shopping experience my items shipped to wrong address even calling the customer care immediately after my order,they told me that they will correct but still getting delivered to wrong address.
Adorama is a good company that offers a good line of products at competitive prices. Their customer service is great and I will do business with Adorama again in the future.
I had to sent the open box Nikon Teleconvertor to NIKON at my cost for mailing. The unit was so damaged that the rear cap could not be removed. Repair to Rear lens mount, Autofocu, Communication along with the lens element and cleaning were performed by Nikon under a one year warrenty. Adorma failed to call back on numerous occasions and sold the unit for 519 when a new was 559 and I had to pay over 35$ to mail to Nikon repair.
I haven't even received my order yet and am already extremely annoyed with this company, and never plan to make another order with them.
I ordered a fairly pricey laptop from them almost a week ago. I first contacted their customer service over email to question why I never received a confirmation email, and it took two days to get a response. The email told me that I would need a tracking number to get my question answered, which I was unable to do because I never got any sort of email after ordering, confirming my order or giving me a tracking number.
My next step was to call customer service, which was terrible by the way. She told me that the money was taken out of my account and the laptop was already shipped. I then asked if I would get a confirmation email with the tracking number, and she said I SHOULD be getting one shortly. Well, two days passed and I never received an email.
So, I called customer service again, assuming that if they could tell me my package was shipped they could possibly tell me my tracking number, which apparently they couldn't. So I demanded that they send me an email with the confirmation email. It has been 1 day, I have not received 1 email from the company.
I advise any person looking into ordering from this company not to. Save yourselves the hassle and money, and learn from my mistake. Like I said I haven't even received my package yet, but after reading reviews on here, I am not very hopeful.
