I waited over 2 weeks for the product that was to take a few days to receive. By the time it arrived the customer had traded his car in to the dealership. They would not refund the $85.00 fee to program the ECM even though they were at fault.
Did not order this part due to very slow follow up on customer inquiry. Took Mintt almost three months to reply to my product inquiry. Mintt must have decided I didn't urgently need the part, either that or they have so much business it takes them months to reply to questions. Nonetheless, this tells me to do business elsewhere. Now a month after refusing to do business they want me to give a customer review... well here it is, stay away.
It was a the right one for the car, but installation instructions were poor. It is working just as well as the original equipment, but didn't fix my problem as the local diagnosticians said it would. Had to get instructions from Mintt on how to hold the ignition key for so many seconds, several times in a row, before the car would start.
Happy and satisfied. The website was easy to navigate. Parts were easily identifiable for my car needs. Ordering and shipping was communicated throughout the process. I received my parts quicker than the estimated time. Again overall, Happy and Satisfied!
I am very very pleased with this company and their assurance that they wanted everything to be right it took a little longer than expected, but everything is working perfect!
I would not purchase from these people again first of all, Their flagship won they're not mintt. They're very deceitful. It was not plug in play. I had to do a crankshaft reLearn. And they're very slow shipping the product. I did not like their deceitfulness. I will not purchase again.

Could not get computer to learn the security light would not go off after 3 hours trying put old unit back in works ok but when parked battery cable has to be unhooked so computer can reset

I could not reset the "Service the Theft Deterrent System" error message. I asked for help. Mintt responded with a solution that did NOT work. So, I see this experience as a waste of time, effort and money.
The PCM I received is described as "Plug&Play," but it also requires the dealer to program both key fobs. This turns a DIY job into an expensive trip to the dealer. Is there any way around this issue?
