Could not get computer to learn the security light would not go off after 3 hours trying put old unit back in works ok but when parked battery cable has to be unhooked so computer can reset

I could not reset the "Service the Theft Deterrent System" error message. I asked for help. Mintt responded with a solution that did NOT work. So, I see this experience as a waste of time, effort and money.
The PCM I received is described as "Plug&Play," but it also requires the dealer to program both key fobs. This turns a DIY job into an expensive trip to the dealer. Is there any way around this issue?
Received product promptly. Product was easy to install. The pre-programmed features worked perfectly allowing the control unit to work exactly as the OEM device. The new unit was truly "Plug-n-Play. Very satisfied with purchase.
