This company only makes web sites for you to see, they never advertised my company to the public. The only way to see your fake website is that you have to type your company name on google to see it. Not the services that you provide. After I canceled my account with them they withdrew an additional $300 from my account, my bank is still trying to resolve this matter but gets no response. They have ripped me off for over over $800 and have not received one single job or even a phone call for work from the use of this company.
Please don't get scammed like me. Please report this company to the better business bureau if they scammed you also,
So hopefully nobody else will get ripped off.
You will actually get more work from a ligit $5 dollar a month craigslist posting.

After working with 411 Locals for over three years, I decided to transfer my online marketing campaign to Olly Olly. However, 411 Locals refused to grant access to my Google Business Profile, blocking the transfer of my 43 five-star reviews.

When I addressed this with an account manager, his condescending response implied he might delete my account and its content, including the reviews. This experience strengthened my resolve to take action.

Despite the risk of losing my reviews, I'm determined to seek legal counsel and do whatever it takes to regain control of my profile. I will not allow a marketing company to hold my business hostage without holding them accountable.

STAY CLEAR!

I don't even want to give 1 star, it's so bad.
I relate to all of these low reviews.

The fact that there is good reviews on here tell me they not actually customers.

They set up website and stuff a year ago and I receive nothing from it,
Trying to cancel as it's just not in our budget anymore and we are going a different route and they literally ignore the fact we are canceling I keep saying it over and over again, they keep taking funds from my account money I need to bills since coat of living is so much higher now,
I been doing a run around with my bank trying to get these people to stop they they still manage to get something from me.
Do not risk using this company
I still am currently trying to cancel they hang up while I am on hold very very frustrating!

Sign up with 411 Local at your own risk. I only started with this company a little more than a month ago, and I am already canceling my subscription. My business is not making much due to the season. Yesterday I got a call from a third-party rep about a past-due balance, and I explained that the business was having troubles. I advised the rep that I wanted to cancel, and she continuously insisted that I stay on board and make a payment. I told her that I don't authorize a payment, but if we can speak about the balance on the 15th of January, I may be able to stay on board. She stated that someone would call me on that day, and I could work things out then. I woke up this morning to my account being withdrawn. I have made multiple calls to the customer service number, and now I have been on hold for over an hour and thirty minutes. It has been silent. I refuse to hang up and have my phone on a charger just to see if they will even come back and explain to me why I can take a nap and wake back up still on hold. Does anyone want to take a bet that they will have a legitimate response? I am canceling my services and would encourage anyone else to find another marketing company to trust. This one does not care about you! You've been warned.

I've been with 411 Local for almost 3 months, They created a website that was completely different from what my original website says and the services that I offer, It took them almost 2 months to make that website live, and of course, they charged me every single time, and when I called them that I want to cancel their service, they started promising me they'll fix the website they need to add more pictures and bunch of other stuff just for me to continue paying them to support their scam, my simple question, why should I send my customer to review their stuff when I need my customers to review my website? You know it, I know it, our customers not going to go to multiple pages to leave reviews, After about 80 days with them I got zero customers, 0 phone calls, and a loss of almost $800 on my credit card for their charges. Attention to attorney generals FBI and other government agencies this company needs to be investigated for fraudulent Collections and extortions of people's money. Their business model is to collect money from poor people make themselves rich and put almost no effort into customer satisfaction, They also promise me they'll put me on collection for the remaining balance, $800 is not enough for them. Question to attorneys out there Is it possible to sue them without me casting anything more out of my pocket?

BIGEST SCAMERS

I have started with them at the beginning of August 2023, they charged me for a month and done absolutely nothing for my campaign, no response to my emails, kept on saying that they were trying to call me but no income call from them.So as you can see from my attachments, after 20 days they ask again for fees in contrary with their Statement as monthly fees.
When I said that I am cancelling my subscription they sent me another invoice asking for more money.
No invoice provided at the purchase, and on top of it when I apply for membership we had the option from Australia too, now they removed completely the Australia option.
A very big NO!

Hi everybody, i don't reccommends atall this company,just take your money and do not help you. Before i got this company i recived easy one call from google, after this i didn't get any call, this don't help me, afect my calls. They call me yesterday and he said they block my number and google calls was going to an other number, they do any thing good for me but they wants i give them more money to continue working with me and they dont want give me back any mony for service i didn't get. Please do not work with this company if you don't want afect yourself.

Deceitful company

Don't fall for the exaggerated claim of them being "exculsive partners" with Google. They will take over your phone number and be your new answering service. They did not tell me they would be doing that. Worst part is they barely speak English. What a turn off for clients to hear that. They don't follow instructions at all. I had a website that was functioning just fine. I told them not to build me a new website and to just link to my current site. Days later they were boasting about how they built me a fabulous website and to check it out. Not fabulous, extremely disappointing. Any web developer had the same template. I knew right away that I had been scammed into something I didn't want to be part of. They offered me an introductory rate that I was willing to pay to try them out. When I called to have them cancel my account and terminate any further efforts on their part, I was met with complete arrogance and ignorance to my wishes. I had to repeat my words dozens of times and they wouldn't listen to me and refused to cancel my service. After talking to a third individual and arguing with him, he finally proceeded to cancel my service. Surprise, surprise...Now they were going to bill me a prorated cost for the work they had done, the work I explicitly told them not to do. I can't express in words how frustrated I felt. 411 Locals is the most ingenious group of people I have come across. Arrogant and Inconsiderate! I told them that they were not authorized to charge anything to my card, this being said on a recorded line. I told them any attempt to charge my card would be met with recourse. Low and behold, they charged my card. I will be filing complaints with the FCC for a fraudulent transaction, that had no verbal or written authorization to be transacted. For the rest of the world who is considering using 411 Locals, STAY AWAY! SCAMMERS!

We were in the process of setting up a google acct with 411 locals. We were "supposedly working" with them for over a month as they had charged us $49 for month one. We had ZERO output from them that 1st month. When we called them and said we wanted to cancel anything further they said they would drop the charge from $250 to $149 for the next 2 months, still stating this could be canceled at any time. We did not agree to this as we were working at the time they had called to discuss all this. We told them to call back the next day to discuss further. We repeated called and when we got to finally talk to someone which was 3 out of 10 times, we asked if we were on a recorded line which they said yes, we told them no less then 3 times in a row we were canceling. They then quit corresponding until 5 days later (April 10th) They have since billed us another $149 and today (Apr 10th) they told us they would cancel but we were responsible for another $20.33. During this last 5 day period they sent daily emails "We have been vigorously attempting to reach you regarding your online advertising campaign with us here, at 411 Locals. It is imperative that we speak with you as soon as possible. Please contact us right away! In the meantime, we will continue to work hard for you on maintaining your online advertising campaign and ensuring that prospective clients in your area can find and call you.". We NEVER received any phone calls, emails, or texts during this time other than this canned outright lie they had been trying to contact us. When we tried get ahold of them during this time our emails and phone calls were not acknowledged in any way. Absolutely terrible company and worse people working for these lying, cheating scum. We demand a refund of at least the $149 that they charged our credit card and take back the "final" charge $20.33"

Worst than Home Advisor

I went from getting good leads, to nothing at all for over 6 months. We all know, that people call electricians especially during Dec, to decorate their roofs or front lawn with holiday lights. Not 1 phone was received for the next 6 months. I called them more than 10x's over those 6 months, since they were still charging my cc $225 a month, but not providing me and service. Finally, I got what seemed to be a new guy and he says: which 1 of the 3 phone numbers are you advertising with? 3 phone #'s? I only have 1 number, so who are those other 2? He wouldn't give me an answer.
So I asked him: are those other numbers advertising under my acct and I'm paying for them?
Again no answer. I asked to cancel my acct, which was impossible to do.
So I told them if they wanted my service, to charge me half of the $225 for the next 3 months and if service picked up, I would pay the $225. Again, no calls came in for electrical services for 3 months. Not even I wrong number phone call. Not getting a phone call for electrical services, is almost impossible during the summer months, because somebody is always overloading the breaker box, when using window AC. I got a phone call from every manager they had, trying to convinced me to continue with them, which I refused and asked to have my acct closed. Since they wouldn't close my acct, I called my CC company and disputed the charges, got my $ back for the last 3 months and blocked them from ever charging my CC.

Beware of hidden costs

The more I listened to their spiel, the more things they wanted money for came out. Told them up front I service commercial accounts and their service relates to residential and therefore they could not help me. Of course, they denied that. Gave em $49 a month for 3 months and they were still trying to get it together so I asked to cancel. Now, I keep getting calls soliciting my business from many different phone numbers, each time the caller is careful to not state "411 Local". They are simply underhanded scammers with employees who have scripts to read and can't answer questions.

411 Locals assumed management over my google listing. We've been in business here in Tucson, Az. For over 30 years & had many reviews. When we ceased doing business with them, they would not turn back over managerial oversight of my google page thereby undoing years of positive reviews.

Unprofessionally Rude

411.ca called me today maybe 5 minutes ago about wanting a reliable concrete contractor in the area, to which we are. The operator who was professional and polite on the phone passed me onto their boss. She asked me if I was reliable and available for jobs to which I said yes. She then asked if we travel for work at all. And I said yes, although it's rare as I do a 50km radius around my yard mostly but am willing to travel outside of that, but if it's far away from Toronto, e.g. Windsor then I pay them a travel allowance because I'm not an $#*! and that's only fair. She then said "ok" and hung up on me without saying a word.

That's unprofessional, and rude especially since you're supposed to be a business and a business is supposed to treat their clients with respect. How unprofessional to call anyone of the blue, waste the time of professional that you're talking to without any compensation of course, and then to hang up on then.

Fire the uncouth manager, put the initial operator in her position, and maybe the company will go somewhere or at least somewhere better.

If a company doesn't respect you, how can you respect that company or anything that it does. I give them one star and the only reason for this is because it won't allow me to give them zero stars.

Ridiculous

This review from David@ www.wedoconcreteright.ca. Also it wants me to add an image of proof of purchase. Proof of purchase of what? I didn't buy anything. I'm not that stupid. And what was there to buy anyway? They never mentioned anything during the call related to money, but I guess that that's what they save until the end until they hook you in.

Definitely do not recommend even if it was your last choice on the planet. I'd rather look on Mars.

I bet I won't get a dollar back of the 6 months I've been with them.
Guaranteed to get on 1 page of Google, changed my phone number and told me they wouldn't change it back. Never got a call, phone number they gave me never worked and I never got in the first page! At this point I am willing to sue if I don't get a return on my investment. They lied from the beginning
