This company is a big SCAM. Calls multiple times after being asked to be added to the do not call list. We will be reporting them to the BBB.

Don't fall for the exaggerated claim of them being "exculsive partners" with Google. They will take over your phone number and be your new answering service. They did not tell me they would be doing that. Worst part is they barely speak English. What a turn off for clients to hear that. They don't follow instructions at all. I had a website that was functioning just fine. I told them not to build me a new website and to just link to my current site. Days later they were boasting about how they built me a fabulous website and to check it out. Not fabulous, extremely disappointing. Any web developer had the same template. I knew right away that I had been scammed into something I didn't want to be part of. They offered me an introductory rate that I was willing to pay to try them out. When I called to have them cancel my account and terminate any further efforts on their part, I was met with complete arrogance and ignorance to my wishes. I had to repeat my words dozens of times and they wouldn't listen to me and refused to cancel my service. After talking to a third individual and arguing with him, he finally proceeded to cancel my service. Surprise, surprise...Now they were going to bill me a prorated cost for the work they had done, the work I explicitly told them not to do. I can't express in words how frustrated I felt. 411 Locals is the most ingenious group of people I have come across. Arrogant and Inconsiderate! I told them that they were not authorized to charge anything to my card, this being said on a recorded line. I told them any attempt to charge my card would be met with recourse. Low and behold, they charged my card. I will be filing complaints with the FCC for a fraudulent transaction, that had no verbal or written authorization to be transacted. For the rest of the world who is considering using 411 Locals, STAY AWAY! SCAMMERS!

We were in the process of setting up a google acct with 411 locals. We were "supposedly working" with them for over a month as they had charged us $49 for month one. We had ZERO output from them that 1st month. When we called them and said we wanted to cancel anything further they said they would drop the charge from $250 to $149 for the next 2 months, still stating this could be canceled at any time. We did not agree to this as we were working at the time they had called to discuss all this. We told them to call back the next day to discuss further. We repeated called and when we got to finally talk to someone which was 3 out of 10 times, we asked if we were on a recorded line which they said yes, we told them no less then 3 times in a row we were canceling. They then quit corresponding until 5 days later (April 10th) They have since billed us another $149 and today (Apr 10th) they told us they would cancel but we were responsible for another $20.33. During this last 5 day period they sent daily emails "We have been vigorously attempting to reach you regarding your online advertising campaign with us here, at 411 Locals. It is imperative that we speak with you as soon as possible. Please contact us right away! In the meantime, we will continue to work hard for you on maintaining your online advertising campaign and ensuring that prospective clients in your area can find and call you.". We NEVER received any phone calls, emails, or texts during this time other than this canned outright lie they had been trying to contact us. When we tried get ahold of them during this time our emails and phone calls were not acknowledged in any way. Absolutely terrible company and worse people working for these lying, cheating scum. We demand a refund of at least the $149 that they charged our credit card and take back the "final" charge $20.33"

Nothing but an annoyance to people trying to conduct business. Phone calls with no one on the other end. Waste of everyones time.

My husband hired 411 Locals not having any idea how the Internet works. When I became in charge of our marketing I quickly realized they were charging a lot for not much in return. The website they built is a joke, incredibly repetitive and tons of misspellings along with looking juvenile. There are tons of other companies that could do an amazing job for a better price. When I went to cancel they put me on the line with a man that reminded me of someone's extremely abusive boyfriend. When I told him I wanted to counsel and my reasons he'd try to gaslight me and literally would not listen to a single thing I had to say and told me no he wouldn't let me cancel he thought we should stay in business together. What the $#*!? I honestly wasn't even sure if the conversation we had was even real I was so dumbfounded. It took me weeks to get a hold of them again every time I tried to cancel they would put me on hold for hours and then hang up. I would have to tell them I wanted more marketing then when I got a hold of someone to try and cancel they would start the run around again. When I told them I was canceling my credit card and they would no longer be charging me, that got their attention. They spam called me multiple times a day for weeks telling me my business will go under and I will not be seen on the Internet if I canceled them. The man they use to try to get you not to cancel is a scammer and manipulating. He never acknowledged I was canceling, then would call me to try and convince me out of cancelling. We thought we had blocked 411 locals from charging our credit card, months later they are still charging our card from alien accounts. I'm considering taking legal action against them.

Several years ago I decided that I needed some assistance in improving my position for Google® searches seeking the services my small business provides from Houston, TX. A gentleman with an accent convinced me that 411 Locals (411) could make it happen. Much to my wife's chagrin, I paid three-figures' monthly (in advance auto payment). I did see some improvement to Page One and the number of clicks' also improved.

More recently, however, my visitor count to my website plateaued. After a few months I decided to cancel services with 411 via telephone, and email replies to those at 411 tried to retain my account. Quickly, I was barraged with calls from 411 personnel and several emails and each time I told them I cancelled their service and would appreciate no further contact about how "great we are." The final (I hope) phone call came yesterday afternoon, March 20,2019, and I couldn't have made my decision more clearly. Later, an email came that said, in part, "You are also acknowledging the following services were provided by 411 Locals and will be eliminated as requested:
Company profile in Google and Google +
Domain name and Professional Marketing Website
YouTube Marketing Video
Company profile from over 150 of the leading online directories."
So, what you are saying is that all that I've paid for over the years, 411 is going to proactively remove? I PAID FOR THOSE SERVICES! Sure enough, within 24 hours my YouTube video was gone from my website and I've yet to discover what else they may have done. I have legal proceedings beginning.

At some point, for some reason, everyone will cancel, and 411 is happy to remove anything, and everything related from one's website for which I paid almost $2,000 annually?! Look at their Home Page and see the client reviews. It's been almost two years without a comment (as of this writing)! No one is motivated to leave a positive review, or are there none? Negative reviews have been read, but never posted?

I'm sorry to learn of the poor surveys and disappointment towards 411 Locals, however with respect to me I can let you know from individual experience that they are dealing with my sake to give an administration that is as of now paying profits.
