Flowers ordered for my daughter's birthday, which was on a Friday. The local florist couldn't find the address (which was CORRECT) and the delivery was delayed until Monday. I would have appreciated more effort on the local's part-they didn't try to call her or me-or some partial refund from the parent company.
I've ordered from 1800flowers 3 times. Twice I paid extra for same day delivery (placing my order WELL before the cut off). BOTH TIMES, I recieved an email informing the delivery didn't take place, but would be delivered 1st thing the next day. Again, both times... this didn't happen and the flowers were delivered late afternoon a day late. Never recieved an apology when I contacted customer service. I just ordered with them again yesterday because I had a PayPal "offer" to save "up to 40%". I looked at the photos and picked a gorgeous arrangement of 18 roses in a clear vase at like 30 % off! Then theyou added the FIFTEEN DOLLAR FEE. So it was 10 bucks more than the original price... absurd.
My friend finally had her flowers delivered 29 hours after the order. I asked her to send a pic as I wanted to see the gorgeous arrangement I had just dropped $50 on. She sent it and I was disgusted. What she recieved looked nothing like the photo. The roses were below the lip of the vase an in the middle with large roses surrounding them. All the leaves were left on completely hiding all the middle roses and there were leaves in the water on every sent temperature and crap floating around.
For the 3rd time, I reached out to customer service and attached photos of what I ordered vs. What they delivered. I recieved an extremely cold and condescending reply ending with a "we will consider your email. Thanks".
AGAIN NO APOLOGY, they didn't address my frustration or even mention the photos. Just an awful and pointless response from someone who clearly doesn't care about quality or customer service.
I would tell anyone looking at using this place to stop... run... and never look back. No morals, no values, no care for their work. Worst place I've experienced for floral needs. I wish I could rate at a zero because that's the true amount of Fs they give about their business and those who waste thousands a day on them. Yuck. Shame on you!

My order arrived early enough during the day, and was intact. The order was accurate and presented beautifully.
It was delivered to the person without any issues. Ordering was an ordeal as there were several types of discounts depending on which URL you clicked to get to ordering. It would be nice to have ONE sale, ONE discount, and make sure that the CELEBRATIONS perks are applicable to ALL situations.

I ordered these from Maryland to be delivered to my step mother in Florida. Of course, you're always a little worried when you are so far away and won't be able to see the finish product in person, but the pictures she sent me looked exactly like the one on the website. These beautiful flowers were sent to a relative to fell and broke both legs. She was upset as she would not be going how for quite awhile and would miss the buds coming out on her bushes. She was very pleased to see the beautiful spring floral arrangement. It truly brightened her day. Thank you!

I ordered flowers for Valentines Day They arrived before noon great delivery service. The flowers, Roses, did not look good they were limp the pink roses were all browning on the petals the green leaves were all brittle dry or just limp and there was no plant food inside the package. The vase and candies and message were all included and in great shape I called the 1 800 number and left a message In a short period of time I got an apology and a notice a replacement would be sent. I got a message from a local florist that a replacement arrangement would be sent next day. I was pleased with the quick response by both customer service and by the local florist that handled the replacement. The next morning the new arrangement was delivered and it was really nice fresh and was long lasting it is still in bloom The roses from the 1st order lasted 4 days before they all wilted away even with water changes and diagonal cuts on the stem. I am very pleased with the way everything was handled and will remain a customer I don't know what the problem was with the Roses but The holiday volume may be at blame. The arrangement was received with wilted flowers and leaves, it was horrible looking the next day. Not what I expected for the money I paid. Thanks to 1-800-Flowers, I was able to resolve the issue.
