I ordered two sets of flowers for Mother's Day. One for my mom and another for my boyfriend's mom.
Let's begin with the ladder. The flowers for my boyfriend's mom looked nothing like the picture. They replaced the pictured flowers with cheaper flowers. Also, It did not look full like the picture, even though I paid more to get the upgraded bouquet. The whole gift looked cheap, but I had over $70.
But my mom's bouquet is really what prompted me to write the review. Her bouquet didn't arrive at all. When I contacted customer service, they would do anything but refund my money. First, they'd send new flowers. I told them no, it was too late. They failed to provide flowers to my mother on Mother's Day. There is no point is sending them days after. I wanted a refund and I had to really fight to get it. Finally got a full refund after turning down a $20 certificate for a future purchase, resending the same bouquet, an upgraded bouquet, and a 50% refund. They really try to grind you down to keep your money. That is not how a company should react to making such a mistake.
I've been a customer and a passport member for 3 years and I'm finally done with their flowers. They used to send nice flowers, but the quality has completely disintegrated over the years. When they arrive, their second grade at best. That's if they arrive at all. This is the second time they're failed to deliver my order this year. From not I will be calling the local florist directly. 1800 flowers is a complete rip off.
I plan to call to cancel my passport subscription today. By the way, the regular customer service reps can't cancel the automatic annual renewal. You must call a separate number for that! Another scam to keep your money, in hopes that you forget or get too lazy to call.
Flowers came in a box. They were dead. I had to do my own arrangement. Won't give you a refund but will send you more dead flowers. These people are shysters. Don't use them if you know what's good for yourself. Live and learn. Honestly you will be throwing your money away.
Tried to order flowers for Mother's Day. Placed order, paid and received a call immediately after saying the item wasn't avail. Would I mind an alternate item. I said ok, they then said they couldn't deliver on the date requested. I told them cancel and refund. They kept my money. Total ripoff.
Very disappointed that the flowers were not delivered on the date i selected for the amount of money i spent. Unacceptable! Will not be using them again.
If I could put zero stars I would! I placed an order for Mothers day a week ago to be delivered yesterday. The flowers were never received. Spoke to 4 different representatives in which nobody had an answer as to what happened with the order and one even hung up on me! They did not take responsibility for loosing the order. Said all they could do was give me a $20 credit for my next purchase. Ruined Mother's Day weekend when I live in a different state than my mother. They cancelled the order without telling me instead of trying to fix the problem. The worst customer service and I will never be ordering from them again.
Rdered flowers for Mother's Day. Received notice that they scheduled the delivery for one week too late. Called them. They said they changed it. Flowers never delivered. Called them. They said "they know how I feel". Per script. They offered a discount. I said it should be free. They said no. I asked for a refund. Just super poor customer service. Tell everyone
Suppose to deliver flowers on Friday. Call Saturday to say there were not delivered. Called Sunday to say they were still not delivered.
When I asked for a refund on Sunday afternoon they argued with me and tried to give me free shipping on next order.
Plus they put me on hold multiple times for over 4 min.
We ordered two dozens roses for our mother's Mother's Day surprise. She absolutely LOVED it. The flowers were beautiful and in large sizes. Someone else ordered roses for her from another online flower company and the flowers were a lot smaller. Great job 1-800-Flowers!
What a total fail on Mother's Day weekend. Called on day of delivery to say could not fill order or deliver ANY OTHER for that day, order paid many days ahead. Jibberish speaking rep from somewhere refused to refund, offered a dozen ways to keep my money, had to finally hang up. Online chat with another was the same spiel. I had to start a chargeback for the money I paid. PLEASE... take a chance and you will likely get the same or worse.
0. They got the address wrong and charged me double than they lied about fixing the address and said that the flowers would be 4 days late when I paid to have them there. Will never use again
I sent flowers as a surprise for my sister soo could not for warn her. The company left the flowers in the lobby. Weeks later I find out my sister never got it until they were dead. I complained and they promised me a credit. I call today to use my credit for mother's day and they have nothing on my record. It said flowers delivered successfully! Do not use this company. I bought a $40 bouquet of flowers plus $20 for delivery and 6 stems arrived (tulips). What a joke. I sent an email to their customer service team and they could have cared less.
Paid $50 for an arrangement for Mother's Day. When it was delivered, it had 1 (O-N-E) flower! I'm so embarrassed- it looks like we spent $10 on her gift. I will never use them again!

Customer Service is a joke.
I called multiple times to find out where my order was as it was not delivered on the delivery date. I kept being put on hold and told it was out for delivery today. When I asked why it was not delivered on the date I asked, I was told it will be delivered today. Every time I called no one spoke English! I asked for a supervisor and was told she is busy. I asked for a manager, she is busy. I will NEVER order from here again!

I ordered a sympathy arrangement to be delivered same day for my mother. They sent me email that they tried to deliver but could not <--- Lie # 1, Website said the order was still in the shop <------ Lie # 2, Called the phone center, they said they tried to deliver it, that they could deliver in 2 days, and then finally said the order had been cancelled. Call local florist and order directly, cut 1800flowers out of the transaction unless you like sitting on the telephone to mitigate their disinterest in actually delivering flowers. Too risky to waste time and money on them. If they ever had a good reputation it appears that is disappeared by all the other poor review
Whatever you do do not order anything here, paid $92 for some flowers to be delivered to my mom who just got of the hospital, I received a phone call from them telling me that the store who's supposed to deliver the flowers requested a change of the delivery date, couldn't understand half of what the agent was saying, after spending 20 minutes on the phone with her, she said she will have the manager call me, no one called me, I called at the end of the day and again the customer service lady didn't know what was going on and couldn't give me any information. Long story short I asked them for a refund.
I ordered flowers for my anniversary. I specifically ordered my girl's favorite flowers, in an arrangement and vase I knew she would love. The flowers that arrived were completely different, in a different vase (with the same specialized card I wrote though).
I emailed to get my money back, since I wasn't given what I paid for. They said "Your order has already been delivered, so unfortunately we're not able to cancel it". Didn't want to cancel it, just wanted money back.
