Ordered flowers for my grandmothers birthday. Received a phone call from someone saying they were with 1-800 Flowers and to call back about order. Called several times and only was able to get an automated recording that was attempting to sell things to me. Honestly thought I was being scammed. Finally was able to get into touch with someone later the day via chat and spent 45 minutes chatting with someone to learn they could not deliver the arrangement as they did not have the flowers. Very disappointed and not impressed with the lack of ability to call anyone back and speak with a live person to have the issue resolved. Will never use this service again.
Order did not arrive on time, I asked to cancel and they said they could deliver elsewhere or the following day. I asked to deliver that day to my house or if not then the next day at her job by 3pm and they said that would be fine. Next day comes and 2:30pm still not delivered. I called to cancel and they did not want to cancel because "they have a delivery window until 5pm" but we had already discussed that she would not be at work pass 3pm. Flowers were completely different from what I chose. 1800Flowers originally didn't want to cancel and refund me but when I asked them to pull up the recording of my conversation with them they day prior then they refunded me. It was by far the worst experience! They even ended up delivering the flowers although I canceled and left them out in the rain because no one was home.
I am choosing to give no stars for the company. The choice to drop off flowers without ensuring if they got to the person is beyond me. I will not use this company anymore.
Ordered flowers two days ago. They where to arrive today for a birthday. Never arrived and no one could help in customer service. Now I have to dispute with credit card etc. your company was to handle this order from H&D
Fabulous Fruit arrangement. Something more masculine than flowers, and the milk chocolate was delightful and highly appreciated - Giving healthy competition to those "Other Guys". Arrived on-time, exactly as described. Very pleased.
Customer service is top notch -- I found out that my mother was out of town for Mother's Day and called them up the day before to see if I could switch the order. I was able to switch the delivery date to the following week for no extra charge (even though I was using a discounted delivery rate for the holiday). Customer service representative was very friendly and accommodating.
One caveat -- prices are a bit hefty, especially when compared to going direct to local florists. But they do deliver on what they promise and the flowers have always turned out great in my experience.
My Father-in-law was happy with the delivery for Father's Day. Yay! He did have a hard time understanding what it was... the baseball didn't seem to be as obvious as it was in the photo. Kinda sad about that
1800 Flowers used to be a good company but their service has become so horrible, impersonal and undependable that I will NEVER use them again. Three of my last four orders have been messed up which makes the loved one I am sending flowers think I forgot about them... which makes me sad. For example, I ordered birthday flowers for my sister on 10/11 to be delivered on 10/16 for her 60th birthday. Despite 5 days notice, they shipped them from MD to southwest VA at 4:34PM on the delivery day for an arrival at 10:34PM... and then sent me a notice at 5PM saying it was delayed until 1:30PM the next day. AND THEN WHAT SHE GOT LOOKED NOTHING LIKE THE PICTURE OF WHAT I ORDERED (see attached pictures... disgraceful!).
This company has become the Kmart of crappy flower service and quality and should suffer the same fate. Any company can have an error... but this has become their norm. And then... when I called customer service for a refund... they put me on hold for 45 minutes and then said they were too busy and to call back later! Horrible, unacceptable service in a time where Amazon delivers millions of different products every day with 99.999% accuracy and excellent customer service. 1800 Flowers is done... they need to go out of business!
I ordered same delivery arrangement that never made it to the location on time. After 3 attempts to have it delivered, I cancelled my order.
Very disappointed.
I purchase flowers and a basket they asked what date and the accpted it and took my money come to find out one will be delviered on the day I chose the other seven days later. I purchase these to be delivered together. Becuase our friend is getting out hospital, not five days apart. Never use this company again. They sent me this after I paid when the order accepted September 13 not a week later.

I placed an order on 05/06/24 for balloons and a teddy bear to be delivered to my Grandson in the Hospital, After my order was not received I e-mailed 1800 flowers to locate my order they came back with 1 of my items was currently unavailable. All they can do is process a redelivery with a comparable item. I ask what was unavailable, the balloons but we can send $20. Worth of flowers. I said what 5 year old boys wants flowers. I ask why did they not tell me the balloons were unavailable at the time of the order been placed. I never received an e-mail or call stating that my order would not be delivered. I would have ever know if I didn't call my Daughter and ask if they got a delivery. I have to give you 1 star to post this. There's no picture to include because the order was never sent.
I am writing to express my extreme disappointment with your service. I ordered a very large funeral flower arrangement, which was crucial for a recent funeral, but it was not delivered on time. This added significant stress and sorrow to an already difficult day.
I called your customer service three times to request proof of delivery and was repeatedly told that you couldn't connect to the local store. This lack of communication and accountability is unacceptable.

Ordered Irises & Tulips for my wife's office for our anniversary, arrived budded and she put in water. Irises faded overnight and Tulips never opened. Do not waste your time ordering from this company. Best I could get was a 50% refund
Very disappointed with your delivery person, because my address is located two places in front of my house and flowers was delivered next to a vacant house. My husband realized six days after, all withered and died. No I would not recommend. Support the local flower shop
Terrible! Save your money! I placed two orders. One never arrived. The other was 22 covered in MILDEW instead of 24 fresh flowers and 6 of the tops were broken off the stems. Not what I wanted for my mom before Mother's Day. One star bc I had to give a rating. Not worth any stars!
Thought I'd save some time ordering roses for Valentine's Day —- boy do I regret it! They came LATE, in separate tight bundles so it looked like a wholesale job, and they completely fell apart when I took them out. My wife thought I was trying to send her a message. Ruined the day. Called to complain and they refunded 100%, but still the damage is done.
Ordered flowers 2 nights ago for next day service and two days later still no flowers. Had to beg their 1800 number which is in the Philippines for a refund. They continually try to upscale you after they can't even get the first order right.
Been buying from this company for years. Everything had been great until recently. I even paid for the passport service for the last two years. They promise 1 day delivery, and now 2 days later it still hasn't been delivered. I would more understanding if their customer support didn't blatantly lie about it. They even changed my delivery date on my order to today and said it's on time! There are other companies that deserve a chance to compete for my business.
Terrible company! I placed an order for delivery yesterday. They didn't deliver yet took payment. Customer service told me they didn't receive enough information to complete delivery. Wrong. All the information was filled out. Then they told me my order doesn't exist. I filed a claim with PayPal and sent screenshots of the transactions. Now I'm receiving endless emails from 1800flowers, all from different agents, asking for the same information which I have provided, screenshots included, multiple times. The incompetence of these people is unreal! I'm still fighting for a refund.
You can go to Trader Joe's and buy $25 worth of flowers and $15 worth of chocolates and it would be one hundred times better than what 1-800-flowers sent my sister in law for her birthday. It cost $126. Never been more disappointed! I wish I could post a picture of how pathetic the flowers looked. I think the chocolates were bought at the dollar store.
