We ordered the "Lavender Garden & Drizzled Strawberries" combo gift for our sister's birthday on 7/25/25. The ordering process was a breeze and delivery on time, but the bouquet that was ordered (first photo) was the one we wanted -- and paid more than $140 to get! -- but the bouquet that was delivered (second photo) sure didn't look much like it -- and I don't think it was worth $140! I'm so disappointed I've got tears in my eyes. Our sister is very dear to us, this was a "milestone" birthday, and we wanted something really special to send her our love and a long-distance hug. Bottom line, I don't think we'll be doing business with 1-800-Flowers again -- and I can't recommend that you do, either.
The product that's shown on their website is not what the recipient gets.
Wanted to send my cousin a plant to remember her mom. Took me a long time to decide but settled on a beautiful white rose plant. What the sent was a poor excuse of a plant with all of the petals in the bottom of the bag.
I will never use this service again.
The first photo is what they were supposed to send and the second photo is what my cousin received
I ordered flowers for Mother's Day. Saturday at 5:30 I get an email stating first that they were delivered THEN an email saying there was problem to and call. I call and sit on hold for 30 minutes to be told no, there isn't a problem it will be delivered by 8pm. I kept pressing about the email saying something was wrong. Finally after 4 times of them checking they found the problem. The arrangement wasn't available and I would need to choose another. OK no problem... AND another delivery date. I said when are we talking Monday? She says oh no, sometime later next week, MAYBE. Maybe? She says well you have to understand tomorrow is Mother's Day. Well Duh that's what I ordered them for. She says oh yeah that must be frustrating. I said you know what cancel it. She goes no problem and canceled and refunded it immediately like she had her finger on the button. So now my Mother in Law is SOL for anything on Mother's Day.
I have ordered many times from 1 800 flowers, always sending flowers to my mom. Today 04/20/2025 I ordered Easter flowers for my mom at roughly 9 am. I got a call at 2:30 pm from 1 800 flowers stating that my order was not expensive enough to send today. Thye would fulfill the order on 04/22/2025 or I could upgrade the flower arrangement and spend more money to assure it would be delivered on 04/20/2025. What kind of gimmick is this, to call a customer who spent 60 plus and ask them to spend more money to assure delivery. I requested a refund, which will take 10 to 15 business days to receive, and I will never do business with 1 800 flowers again.
I placed my order for delivery today. Come to find out they want to deliver it 3 days later. Not acceptable. I called to see if they can change the delivery date and they could not guarantee it. I would not recommend this delivery service..
I am writing to express my utter disappointment with the service I received from your company. My husband ordered flowers for early Valentine's Day delivery on February 13,2025, but the order never arrived, and we weren't contacted about any issues. After he reached out to your customer service, he was told the order would be "supplemented" and delivered on February 17,2025.
What arrived, however, was nothing short of embarrassing. The bouquet, which was meant to feature tulips and irises, was a complete letdown. The tulips were small, wilted, and unopened. The irises were closed and not visible. It was clear that the flowers were of extremely poor quality and didn't even fill the giant vase that came with them. The $5 worth of flowers sent were not worth the amount of money paid.
For entertainment purposes, the bouquet was placed on display in the front window, next to the 1-800-Flowers box, and the price was written on the box, where anyone walking by could see what a disappointing and overpriced product we received. This was not only embarrassing for your company but also incredibly frustrating for my husband.
If you truly want to show someone you care, I strongly advise against ordering from this company. My husband spent his hard-earned money for a gesture that turned into a complete disaster. This has been a huge disappointment and a waste of money. I will be sharing this experience with others, and I hope you take this feedback seriously to avoid similar issues in the future.
As you can see from my photographs of what I received and what they advertise...Maybe we need laws to protect buyers from these internet cheats. Good luck if you order from this company.
I purchased a floral arrangement on 02/11/2025 with order number W*******7740 as a gift for my wife for Valentine's Day. The delivery arrived on time, but I was very upset when my wife sent me a picture of the flowers—some were dead, and they did not look like what the company shows in the photo. For almost $90 that they charged for those flowers, they should not have been delivered in that condition.
I will never buy from them again. I feel upset, very disappointed, and scammed because I trusted this company to send a gift for a special day, only for what arrived at my home to be nothing like what they show in the picture.
Last month I ordered flowers for someone for Christmas. Received confirmation it was delivered, but the recipient never received. Redelivery was after Christmas, a total disappointment.
Ordered flowers for a FUNERAL to be delivered this past Saturday. They were delivered after the funeral took place. Order clearly stated start time was 1pm. First CS agent couldn't determine if they were delivered or not when I called at 4pm. Second agent couldn't understand why I was so upset that the flowers were delivered 3 hours late. I am absolutely mortified that this has happened and livid that this is the second major delivery issue in less than a month. And all I got was a half hearted "we're sorry that happened," which is completely unacceptable.
1st option given: we will tell the family it's not your fault, but they can pick them up from the funeral home.
2nd option given: deliver to their home tomorrow. Oh, but wait, can't be delivered on a Sunday. And honestly, who would want a HUGE funeral arrangement in their home.
Option 3: will try to find something similar. I do not want a funeral wreath delivered to someone's home.
Asked for a full refund. Was offered a $15 savings pass for a $170 arrangement, then a partial refund. Demanded a full refund, which was provided.
I'm appalled by the lack of accountability and the total disregard for timing and service. This situation is beyond frustrating and inexcusable.
The local florist that they sent my order to never accepted the order...and they did not bother sending it to another florist. This was the 2nd time in a row they did this, and I did not find out until after the close of the "delivery time". I WILL NOT use them again! So dissatisfied!
I ordered flowers from 1800flowers.com for a grieving family, and unfortunately, the delivery was wrong. Despite calling and complaining, they redelivered, but the order was incorrect again. They offered a partial refund of only 50% of what I paid, and a $15 credit, which is unacceptable given the circumstances. The quality and accuracy of the order did not meet expectations, causing unnecessary distress in a very sensitive situation. It's crucial that such orders are handled with more care and attention, especially in difficult times. Attached are the images from what I ordered and what I've received.
My order was supposed to have been delivered on Friday. It never showed. Today this is what was delivered to my niece while recovering from surgery. You should be ashamed and embarrassed. I know I certainly am, thank you 1800 Flowers so much for making me look like I could care less.
It's very important that customers have recourse when their items are never delivered. I purchased a Christmas bouquet for my wife. As I was checking out, I saw suggestions for add-on items and decided to purchase one. It did not arrive with the bouquet and when I attempted to contact the company about it, the website has no way to do this. I sent an email and placed a review but have still not heard back from anyone. I guess I'm just out the additional $30 that was spent. Don't buy add-ons. But if you want to talk to someone when an order goes wrong, you may want to choose a different company entirely.
So I ordered a poinsettia for my Mom for Christmas good news she received it before Christmas and it is beautiful the bad news is it seems 1800 is advertising pricing that is way to low for the companies that they have contracted to fill them. So they make up excuses like no one answers the phone, the ordered was canceled and delivery was refused. They do this on items that are not profitable so they don't get in trouble for refusing to take the order. I spent 4 days playing games with their customer service. I was lucky enough to get one of their florists to call me and actually take care of my order. I feel terrible for their customer service people who are basically required to lie to string the customer along long enough until they find a florist willing to complete the order all the while making you and the person you are sending to completely crazy, extremely mad and generally just totally frustrated. I hate to even leave this review because I worry 1800 will take it out on their customer service people and the florists they use. I won't be using them ever again because the money I "saved" did not even come close to cover the time I spent. I have to remember to buy local even if it's states away.
I have successfully used 1-800Flowers for several years, but this particular experience was not that good. I ordered the "Deluxe" arrangement below for my Aunt. I wanted her to have an exceptionally beautiful floral Christmas tree for the Holidays. She was thrilled with what she received, but the arrangement did not meet my expectations for a "Deluxe" presentation. It appears that when 1800 uses "local vendors", the vendors don't match the quality represented in the online photo.
They got the address wrong twice and tried to blame my mother and went back and forth 3 times and they were rude and had to hang up on them twice. Despicable people and I just had major surgery.
Very disappointed in the size and delivery of the gift for my daughter who had just given birth. I have used your website many times I've always been satisfied I'm a firm believer that you get what you pay for especially when dealing with a reputable company such as 1-800- flowers. This time, I paid over $80 for a plant so small it barely is bigger than the glass container. Also. The fed ex driver is seen on the ring camera carelessly tossing package with no regard for arrows on the box.
I placed my order Wednesday to have delivered Thursday, Thursday comes and they never get delivered. They claim the florist didn't have the flowers, but never reached out to tell me. I had to reach out at 8:30pm. Then next day flowers STILL didn't get delivered. They claim someone tried but the recipients ring cameras would have picked it up and they didn't have anyone come. Now on day 3 still waiting. Horrible experience would NEVER order from here again.
I ordered a funeral arrangement for a friend's mother's funeral. I ordered it two days prior to visitation and paid extra to have it delivered on the visitation date which was Sunday Dec. 1. I received a text message that my flowers had arrived at the funeral home but when I got there the flowers were nowhere to be found. I was hopeful the flowers would arrive by the second viewing, but sadly they didn't. I'm glad I was actually able to go to the visitation because otherwise I would never have known they didn't arrive. I called 1-800 Flowers.com on Tuesday Dec 3 asking for a refund of the $160 I had spent. The woman I spoke with encouraged me to accept a 50% refund and send the arrangement to the family. We had a very difficult time communicating as English was not her first language and she did not speak clearly and she had difficulty understanding me as well. This transaction should have taken 10 minutes at best. I was at work when I called thinking it would be a quick resolution to a problem. How wrong I was! This person struggled and struggled and asked me to hold more times than I can recall. When I asked for the name of the flower shop that would be handling my order, she refused to tell me. I felt I needed this information in the event the flowers didn't arrive as promised again. She suggested I go on the website to check on the progress of my order. What good is that?!? The previous tracking proclaimed my order as delivered when they never arrived. 50 minutes into the phone call, in exasperation I asked for her supervisor. The supervisor, whose English was MUCH better, and whose skill level was much higher did finally resolve my complaint. My call to 1-800 Flowers.com lasted 1 hour and 6 minutes. My flowers, which were to be delivered to the family the following day, actually arrived 2 days later. And the flowers did NOT look like a $160 arrangement. Perhaps more like a $40 arrangement. During my 1+hour call with the company, I received a message on my phone from another rep of 1-800 Flowers.com who could barely leave me a message because he was laughing hysterically. Talk about adding insult to injury!
I was excited to send this to my friend in sorrow. The picture was beautiful! However the arrangement I ordered and what was actually received was not as pictured at all. See photos of flowers directly out of the box. This is so deceiving. Not ok!
I paid to get my item delivered on Tuesday and they delivered delivery, it the following day. Very disappointed. This inconvenient me a lot and my friend had to make changes to to facilitate the change
