Here’s what consumers have asked with answers from Wish staff and previous consumers.
Unfortunately wish.com is a scam site. You and I have been taken advantage of by China.
Something similar has happened to me after many positive experiences. My account is now "restricted." This would not be so bad if they just restricted my ability to purchase. But in fact, they are restricting the ability to write them on customer service issues!
THE ITEM I BOUGHT **BACK ON MAY 29 SAID 60 DAYS***SO THATS JULY 29TH***GRANTED WE WERE ALREADY WELL INTO COVID**WHEN I PLACED THE ORDER***WISH SWITCHED THE **EXPECTED**DELIVERY DATE TO SEPTEMBER 30** ***WELL IF YOU HAVEN'T EXPERIENCED FRAUD****YOU HAVE NOW********
Don't bother ordering. The shipping info they give you on the website is a joke and is nothing related to real life. Save your money.
No! I purchased a set of "sterling silver" necklaces. Fake metal. If you read the descriptions closely you will realize these are not native English speakers and they may just put anything on there to sell whether intentionally knowing it's misleading or not.
Check the item again on Wish. Are there pictures of other people who have received the item and are there reviews? If there are both of those (or just the pictures than you are way more than likely to receive the items you purchased. Orders are shipped from another country and you pay a very low price so you can't expect to receive it quickly. The longest it's taken for me to receive at item was about a month and a half.
Yes I believe it to be a scam, accepting orders which they never intend to process
If you are lucky enough to get a refund or receive a refund because you did not receive the order they do not want you to share your negative experience with Wish so they close it so that option is not available. If you get a product that is damaged or not what is advertised they try to make you pay for returning the product which is illegal as the mistake was made by them or one of the stores they represent. If you can not get remediation with Wish contact your bank, credit card company and the Alameda County District Attorneys Office Fraud unit in California they have jurisdiction of Wish.com as their office is in San Francisco which is Alameda County and file a complaint. Tell wish you are going to do this
