Question:

Oh! i wasn't aware the walmart did a price match. does their price match guarantee specify the time limits? i would say that they were right in not matching the price as prices can change so much from day to day. as well i think it's hard for large corporations to do what you suggested they do - because if they do it for one person, they'll feel they have to do it for everyone.

Answer:

First, this is Walmart.com which is run by Sykes not Walmart. It is nothing like dealing with Walmart. They have layers of people meant to keep you from getting to the Walmart CEO. Second, They do price match. Now there is Price match, price reduction, and/or roll back. Most items are eligible for a price match of some kind under some name for ninety days. There is a list of items with different rules, most of those things are high fraud items like video games, computers and equipment, etc. Jewelry and other things have their own policy as well. Walmart.com knows you can return MOST items within the 90 day return window so if something goes on sale cheaper on the site or on one of their price match competitors they will lower the price many times. The key here is NOT if it is allowed however. They key is, can you get an agent on the phone who knows how to do this? That is HIGHLY debatable! Also do you have time to wait? This is not exactly a ten minute process. You have to call them and find an agent who is trained well enough to do this. That agent has tons of leg work and documentation to do just to get the price match/rollback/reduction whatever ready for approval. THEN they have to get in line to get helped with this approval. Once they get the approval and this could take twenty minutes to an hour or two, they then have to get it done. Consider that unless you are saving significant money, getting a price anything on Walmart.com will be stressful and annoying. Shop in store. THERE you will be dealing with actual Walmart.

Question:

Answer:

Not just your store. I live in Memphis, TN. An I swear every Walmart Store that I enter has so many customers plus employees, but at check out lines there is only one or two lines open. And the lines are over fulled. Why is that when you have an full staff available and about six or ten employees are standing at check out stations talking about what happened last night and yesterday at their home or party. When their are open stations that can be checking out customers. That make me not want to shop at Walmart is because of people are getting paid just to walk around and ignore the customers. And when you do finally receive some help they have know clue on how to help or get the line moving faster.

Question:

How is the quality of the customer service in terms of first contact resolution, quality of interactions and waiting time ? thank you

Answer:

Most of Walmart.com employees doesn't work for Walmart. They work for others like Sykes Enterprise Inc. and companies like Sykes these companies are third party. Their employees are basically trained on there own over the phone in there homes not at an actually building. Half of these employees are trained like some days or maybe a week. You have to pass at least 80% on testings but you really don't have to read nor look at the videos just retake the test again and again until you make 80% or higher. If you do that you have an job taking calls for Walmart.com. They are not well trained, their don't know their job, not experienced, some are felonies, they store your personal information within their homes, they can use your information or sell to others. Be aware of these reps. It's best that you hung up. Just go inside of the store if you are needing or wanting something from this retailer, just to be on the safe side. Just now
