How much per slide for 2000 slides

Answer:

Hi Conrad. Thanks for reaching out. Slides are $5 for every 15 slides scanned. So for 2000, you would enter 133 as the quantity. The subtotal would be $665. You can then select the option of a DVD for $10 or a Thumb Drive for $30. Please feel free to email us with any other questions at info@southtree.com.

Hi Audrey W. Great question. Yes we do! In your completed order, you will find your original tapes, reels, and photos, along with your new DVDs, and if you select it, a USB thumb drive, with all your items safely stored on it digitally. Please let me know if you have any other questions.

The negative reviews of your company almost outnumber the positive reviews from 2015 to 2017. since i was considering sending in precious tapes, my question is have the standard operating procedures changed for your company and can i entrust my memories to you without fear of them being lost?

Question:

Has anyone used southree for converting cassette audio to cd? and, if so, what was your experience? do you recommend another company? thanks!

Answer:

Avoid - they did a terrible job on my conversion and told me my tapes were bad. Still kept my money. Use anyone else - find someone local to ask them if it can be done and what the issues could be.

I see a lot of negative feedback on your company. i have already placed the order and paid. am preparing the box to be mailed. these tapes are all we have left of several family members who have passed, such precious cargo. i realize it will take a couple of months as you put that on your website. i'm just concerned that you aren't legit and my memories will be lost forever.

Answer:

Good luck. I had several good experiences and then they lost a bunch of my pictures. It's been months and I don't hold out much hope.

If tapes have sound, is that duplicated on the dvd's? i assume that you return original tapes to me?

Answer:

Yes, the sound is duplicated onto the DVD's and they do return all the originals to you.

For southtree: what is the issue with the disparate reviews? it is almost like 2 different companies. some people had no problems, received great service and love your work and others were just the opposite - hated customer service and the work done. complained of lost items etc. this is all within the same timeframe. please advise!

Answer:

Exactly my experience. Great service and then lost a bunch of pictures and now won't reply. They are great when it goes well and horrible when they mess up. Find someplace else if you value your memories.
